it’s not a total comedy, it has a few jokes. I wasn’t actually laughing most of the time. I just thought Steven had a cute personality - which he does. I don’t think he is actually trying to be funny. For example, Thor Ragnarok. Oh, boy. I do not like that movie. It tries too hard to be funny. I really hope Thor: Love and Thunder is not the same but it is by the same director so my expectations are on the floor.
I really like the more serious approach and I felt that when I watched moonknight. Doctor Strange 2 also felt more serious even though it has its flaws.
By the way this is just my opinion. I don’t have anything against the actors, directors, anything. I’m sure many people like the movies that I don’t like as much. The same way that I love moonknight and some people don’t. It’s ok

No real stakes, everyone has Wheaton/Stark humor, villains are copy pasted or just killed off, there's a very clear political agenda being pushed on people just like they did with the all new all different comics and continue to do now, they pander to the lowest common denominator casual fans that will never actually pick up a comic while constantly insulting the fans who do pay for their comics and films for wanting good story telling, good characters, and a politic free universe. And lastly they absolutely butchered the characters Thor went from being Thor to a complete idiot and because casuals hated the second film they stuck with the moron formula, power scaling makes no damn sense within the rules that they established in their own universe same with the plot and general logic. They use nostalgia as a selling point instead of making good movies with logical plots it's bad when a literal comic universe is seen as too campy or unrealistic. Ultron was quipping idiot, Thanos was a moronic ecoterrorist that could've easily solved the shortage issue with the REALITY gem. The time travel they setup with their own rules breaks those rules in the same movie they're introduced in and make absolutely no sense, multiverse is now somehow tied into timelines when that's not even how that works but most fans are too hyped on sound noises and cool scenes to care or even do a simple google search to discover that Temporal Travel (Time Travel) and Interdimensional Travel (Multiverse) are two separate concepts that don't effect one another.
