I love that Colin can still hit those high notes as good as 40 some years ago. Living legend.
For anyone wondering, the AMAZING Scheila Gonzalez is who plays sax/flute/keys in the band. She is scary good... I've seen her about a dozen times over the years playing in Dweezil Zappa's tribute band to Frank. She plays some of the most insane instrumental parts, is a fantastic singer, and is def a fan-fav among DZ fans... always gets the biggest ovations at Zappa shows. It's great to see her do so well in other projects. Scheila is a real talent!
Thanks you
Thank you! I was wondering who she was and here was my answer. Amazing
She's such an incredibly talented and nice person.
Yes!!!! I've seen her at D Zappa shows, and considering F Zappas amazing talent for composing extremely hard compositions she always has it on point. Amazing shows. Dweezil is so much like his dad. Imagine being a teenager in that house lol.
Wow! She’s incredible!
In the 80’s, I played Alto and Tenor Sax in high school. I always tried to play along with this song, INXS, Oingo Boingo, the specials and the English beat. Never had the chops. This girl is fucking amazing. Well done. 80’s bands had saxophone 🎷
The very first Hi Fidelity Album I ever bought back in the early 80's. Amazing sound quality back then. I was 14 years old!
Colin James Hay, for me, his is one of the best ever singer /songwriter ever since my youth.....!!!!!!! Now, I'm 63 years old and i love him and his songs forever and ever......!!!!! Thank you Colin, we will never get old...........!!!!!!!!!! :-)
His voice is spot on. His pipes held up after all these years.
He's actually been doing many many shows all these years, solo gigs on his own.
you are joking
Seriously. He didn't sing any of the original melodies, because his pipes haven't held up all these years.
@@Gruuvin1 thanks for pointing out facts! it’s a trip to me how these people always trying to say these bands and performers after 40 years sound exactly the same, these bands and singers don’t sound as good as they did 40 years ago or 30 years ago
@@sambell385 Most cannot do it at the same level any more... It is natural to loose a bit over the years.
I did notice that the singer from The Cure has somehow managed to stay spot on. Really impressive... look up a few modern live videos. He does not miss a note, ever.
I have met Colin many times
He is such a nice guy down to earth
What a songwriter with such a brilliant voice
I always just immediately thought of ‘Land down under’ when thinking of Men at Work, but last year I delved a bit deeper and realised just what a genius this guy is! Personally I think ‘Overkill’ is one of the greatest songs ever written! 👍🏻
100% agree. Overkill is truly brilliant! In Collin is STUPID talented!
yes very true over kill is by far a treat to my ears an such a liking the sax and overall song is incredible. 👍👍😀🎷. 🌹🌹✊
Yep1
The original MAW lineup was stupid talented all the way around their bass player was sick.
Be Good Johny was another great tune. MAW was just pumping out great songs. A tough pace to keep up. Love MAW.
Great saxophonist, nailed the solo
Colin still sounds fantastic. Of course, he’s the only original member touring under the Men At Work name now.
I’d still go to see them. Such great songs..
He seemed tired, like he was ready to call it a night.
I must have been living under a rock! I didn't know that Colin was born in Scotland, never heard his speaking voice, picked up on the accent immediately, even after all his time 'down under'.
@@canary_in_a_coalmineYes, still the same sound. Don't know what some people expect, it's only natural that a singers voice fills out and gets deeper over the years...no one expects Elton John to hit the really high notes anymore do they!
This brought me to tears with the memories of listening to these songs in my youth during long hot Aussie summers. Colin's voice still amazing as ever.
Me too bro!
Esta canción la escuchaba en mi adolescencia cuando estaba en el colegio, hoy tengo 54 años, y soy fan de Colin Hay además su esposa es Peruana como yo.
Come on!!! what a great band!! That sax!! So great! Brings me back..
That lady nailed Who Can It Be Now didn't she ?
The Legend Men at work.
This is several summers of my childhood. Bikes. Cut Grass. Evening sunsets....what a ride man. Great upload!
Business as Usual. Cargo. t
Two Hearts. Might be the best three consecutive albums of the 80's. All three superb songwriting and serious understanding of pop rock of the time. Amazing times.
That Cecelia Noel woman is trying really hard to steal the show somehow
Bluwng was right about his voice, it's still there after all these years. And the girl on sax was really at work. Thanks for sharing this video.
Still got it Collin. Bloody legend. Loved the sax, loved everything. What a fantastic tight band. I really enjoyed that.
Just hearing this song I feel better. God bless colin hay. Hi from Brazil
Viva el Peru! Y larga vida a Men at Work!😀
WOW, hes still got it.....OUTSTANDING!
Colin Hay and his music are both timeless. You can sing his songs word for word even after all these years because his songs tell a story. His style of music and unique instrumentation was unheard off when the first Men at Work album came out, but they took the US by storm. It is a joy to see him still out playing and sounding every bit as good as he did back in the early 80's. Thank you for sharing a great video. I couldn't love this band more.
I seen them live in Seattle in the 80s .. fun
@@craigbmm4675 I'll bet it was an awesome show. I found some you tube stuff where he was in Ringo Starrs allstar band. He still has it after all these years!
Cecilia from Peru, who introduced him, is Collin's wife. Collin sounds Great after all these years. The Band is Great too.
1:03 This man has the wit of a Scotsman, tinged with the beautiful Aussie humor.
Wit of a Scotsman? Cockneys and the Irish have that covered
obrigado por existrirem men at work tenho 55 anos ouço voces desde meus 11 anos..... amo ate hoje suas musicas as unicas que ficou colocado no meu coração... SOU DO BRASIL....
1983 Edmonton Alberta was the first and last time I saw Men at Work. Thanks for the memories.
My favorite has always been Overkill.
Same !
Same!
Yup!
And, "It's A Mistake!"
especially on Scrubs
The band of 83/84 , Colin Hay a brilliant musician. His songs were so good . Down Under , Overkill, and Who can be superb
Holy shit. I was nothing but heavy metal in the 80s. Never game them time of day. Now... Wow these guys are incredible!!
Jimmy Branly, the drum player, is superb. He's one of the best Cuban salsa/jazz drummers ever.
Very nice, takes me back to the early 80's when I was a young bloke in the Navy, dancing with every young lady in the clubs whose hand I could grab. Cheers 🍻 ✌️
My dad wouldn't bring me to a show because he was afraid of getting piss tested by the Navy. He didn't smoke but was afraid of second hand pot smoke. He probably got his smoking in while in Vietnam but I'd never even say without being there and I definitely wasn't.
I love Men at Work. Although I was a bit surprised to see that it was actually Colin Hay with a band of studio musicians. I still enjoyed the show.
“Sounds like the part you hear before you go to commercial on ‘Forensic Files’” Damn I laughed at that😂
Brilliant. Love seeing this after all these years.
Colin Hay is one of the most underrated Musician's of all time.
My thoughts exactly!
It's a shame.
It's amazing how every music artist or band on CZcams is "underrated".
Awesome..Sounds Great,Thanks for Sharing,Have a Great Day🤘🎸🎸👏👏
These guys are awesome. I still have their first CD great music.
Tow of the greatest debut albums in music history BOSTON and MEN a WORK
A blast from my past, brilliant.
Good old days memories of my years living down under in 90's, this bloody songs played every minutes in the radios..
One of the best voices from down under, one of the most iconic sax/flute tracks, so nice to see MAW still alive and kicking!
Actually he's from Scotland - which is why we are still waiting for his interview on our Scottish Pirate Show
@@HarvestMoonRadio Scottish born. We live and learn 🙂Thank you.
@@OrestisTrips No problem - his parents had a record shop in Kilwinning which is where he got the music bug - moved to "Down Under" when he was a teenager. Of course I won't know any of this because we have asked for an interview being a Scottish station but so far he has never said yes.
@@HarvestMoonRadio Pity - I hope you manage this. Best wishes.
two of my favorite tunes.... rocking the 80s again!
Thanks Jim, you made me shed a tear, greetings from a man born in 1973.
Thanks for the upload. Saw them a couple of years ago at Epcot. Glad to see they all made it through the past couple of years, and still sound great! And everybody's right - Scheila is incredibly talented.
This is just brilliant. Love Colin. The band sounds great, what a sax player 🤘🤘

The essence and validity go hand in hand... Applause from Argentina 👍
A Legend came out of the woods after a long frigging time!!! Thank you!!!!
Saw Colin a couple years ago - just him and a few guitars. Ridiculously great show.
Saw them in Tulsa for the first time. Great Great show! As mentioned Colin can still hit all the notes.

Great live version of an early 80s tune. Great memories of school days.😄
This was one of the first cassette tapes I ever had back in the 80s. Got it from one of those newspaper ads where you buy 1 get 10 free 😂 Man I wore this tape out. Know all those songs by heart.
When I was 10 years old and listening a new fresh sound from Australia in 1983 precious times .
Thanks for posting Jim be safe
I really enjoyed listening to that, great stuff. ❤
They blew me away !
Still hits those high notes like a boss.
I watched MTV just to see this bands video. Who can it be....... Loved it. Thanks
One guy on the official music video here on YT commented that his Dad had "Who can it be now" as a ringtone on his phone for over 10 years. LOL!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Men at work fue un tremendo grupo muy buenos recuerdos
Awesome . Thanks for sharing .
Men at Work’s albums were all absolute gems. If you haven’t listened to them you’ve no idea what you’ve missed.
It is my teenage memory back in the 80's with that Men At Work band famous here in France, listening so many excellent music, is it still.
Excellent guitar choice in that video
I knew Colin was born in my native Scotland but I’ve never heard him speak and haven’t seen him anywhere for 20 odd years , so I was pleasantly surprised to hear he’s still got his accent after all those years down under . Go Colin 👍🏴
Great band Man!!! He sounds amazing still!!!!
What a great tune and sung great
I saw these guys in the early 1980s. They still sound the same.
This is one of my favorites bands since I was in Mexico city where I born. I didn't know english by then, And then when I moved to California and learned the language I said this guy is more amazing than I thought. 80's never dies. Thank you Men at Work for those great memories. 👍
My cherished music is from an earlier time. Love 67 to 73 period the best..lol my formative years. But, coming around much later..men at work took a place in my heart. Great music.
What great songs. Awesome.
Super band. Made them my son's first concert, what a hit, thank you Colin and band (2021 Melody Tent, Cape Cod MA)...
Que recuerdos de juventud, me siguen inspirando. GRANDES.
Meraviglioso, grazie per il video ❤️🙂🖖
