- In this educational video, E3 Aviation Association President and Co-Founder Brian Johnson does an advanced walkthrough of the HondaJet Elite cockpit with Banyan Air Service's Mike O'Keeffe.
This is video #3 of a 4 part series that gives you a sneak peak of the new Garmin G3000, how it is different on a HondaJet and how Honda helped G3000 with some of their research & development.
They make their way from left to right, starting with the oxygen system to the checklist, electrical, pressurization, self tests, switch illumination, lighting, anomalies, calculating take off weight, setting arrival and approaches, weather info, and many other intuitive features to give you a complete laid out flight plan.
The Garmin G3000 is one of the most advanced flight decks for light turbine jets. This digital avionics suite revolutionizes the interface between pilots and electronics:
- Streamlining menu structures.
- Eliminating visual clutter.
- Replacing a whole host of mechanical knobs, buttons and selector switches.
By centralizing data entry in one easy-to-access location, G3000 takes flight deck management to a whole new level - giving pilots more focused control with less wasted motion and effort. Featuring a desktop-style, icon-driven interface built on a new “shallow” menu structure, the GTC enables you to access more systems and sensors with fewer keystrokes or page sequences. Its user interface is totally software-based. So, it’s easily configurable for specific airframes and avionics configurations. What’s more, future enhancements, applications and system growth capabilities can be readily accommodated without physically altering the mechanical controls.

Great video! I spend a lot of time in the Hondajet on MSFS2020, it’s nice to see a great and detailed cockpit overview. Not enough videos to learn from yet. Wonderful aircraft, I always have a good day when one comes in to my FBO.

Great video, clearly missing some features whilst learning the Honda Jet in MSFS flight simulator. But learning fast! Have to say even though it's the simulated version, I learnt to use the systems and get up and running really quick! Honda really have built an amazing flight system. But thanks to this video, I can fill the gaps.
