I remember seeing Robben back on the Tiger Walk tour, and I was there hours before and well after, waiting in line to get something signed. When I finally got my chance to approach, I blurted out the first thing I could think of - "wu wu when's your next album???"... to which he coolly looked me over, thought for a sec, then stated profoundly "we just gave you the new record?" Well, done, Mr. Ford, what do I know. This dude oozes cool and has music as thoughts, what a pure musician!
Yes. This is great. He has amp. On fire here . Sometime s you have to turn up to get that sound. But everyone is turning down lately. . But. This is proof. Sometimes. U need to. Crank it

yes, it's recorded by some thoughtful soul & we get the benefit, but imagine if it had great audio!! we are all wishing the same but at least we see Robben with Sonny Landreth, awesome!!
My impression with a lot of blues players is that they are very predictable, repetitious and clique ridden, not so with Robben Ford, he is just so freeking musical.
Earlier years with Miles Davis and Joni Mitchell helped Robben hone his multiple styles and skills. He could then follow his heart and head into the blues with Blue Line etc. He's a gentleman and very kindly invited a friend and myself to his earlier Ojai, CA, home of an evening.
Yes, that’s weird, but the lineup and song do match the 1995 period, whereas 1997 was the Tiger Walk tour with a different band. Maybe a re-recording of a tape ?
@@olric63 yeah I agree with you mate. That lineup wasn't playing with Robben in 1997 as far as I know. They were for some dates in 1998 I think, but not 1997.
I doubt he would ever use things with chemicals in it it's a moot point tho Han, very casual in appearance for the most part-except for his boots. part of his charm~

I've always seen Robben playing in a more jazzy vein, so great to see him just get into some gnarly pentatonic riffing....he does it all, masterfully!
🎶Still very thankful 🎸was at this show 🎶
Seen him there again when Hilary was on Drums & got to talk a while & get an autograph on The Authorized Bootleg CD
My favorite Robben Ford years ...the 90's ...

what a great catch to see the Blueline with Robben play with Sonny Landreth, huh? Just wish the recording was as good as the players...
Almost 30 years ago, so no HD or 4K recording then. I find it pretty acceptable myself.

I'm sure I was there, it was"The Bottom Line"
That’s what I thought as well, but wasn’t sure.
Hess on bass? Drummer?
At this time, it was Roscoe Beck on bass and Tom Brechtlein on drums.
ouch, the audio is not that super...
Historic document, no one is forced to listen.

What s going on ??a bootleg. Not sounding perfect.

Most music we love to hear is written off the backs of “ predictable blues players “

The date listed is 1995, but the camera has a date stamp of 1997?

It's 9/11/95. I was there and still have the ticket stub.
