A rare occasion to see him on one of these Fender Esprit which later came to be his signature model. To be noted that the pickups are not the stock Fender. A high quality guitar made in Japan.
Insane. It is so good. Oasis is on the album "Tiger walk", that still to me is one of Robbens best. Greast songs (instrumentals) and great musicians. Thanks a lot for loading
This guy is truly amazing, I had the pleasure of seeing him live in Oakland CA last time he was in town at Yoshi's, it was pretty much the best live show I've ever seen!!!! He really communicates with the audience through his guitar, its hard to explain but you must see him live.
I was there and he was kind enough to sign an old 1968 picture of me and my 64 Guild Star fire III which was the same first real guitar he started on! He just got a PRS which sounds great but I think this one still sounds a tad better. THIS B3 player swings! I like how he messes with the meter.
These selections of this session are two of my top favorites of RF. Whatever happened to James Slathery in this collaboration? Tom B. And Roscoe B. continued to be heard in future RF combo incarnations..but what happened to this premier keyboard artist? Well, these fellows just hung the moon in this power trio.
I'm just new Robben Ford and his guitar style I think this guy would be good with like Dada maybe change her style up a little too experience the frontier I like it its cool way beyond just blue's the keyboardist is pretty creative as well and they seem tight and can feel each others direction and style is pretty cool this little group is tight for sure
it seriously doesn't get much better than this!
James Slathery is brilliant & amazingly soulful, with Robben & "Bluelein" whoa!!! what a combo...
Killer recording . I like Robben's groove Blues/Jazz
I have always loved his playing. He has a lovely touch. The organs is a perfect foil for him.

The guitar in red looks outstanding!
Too cool. And that's Robben's signature guitar.
Ahhhhh Tom Brechlein solo, outstanding :)
he does this to me everytime,
every god damn time...

🎊🏆
Great performance and a great drums solo. Does anyone know what kind of guitar is Robben playing in this one?
He' s playing a Fender Flame Elite, his signature guitar.
@@guidodejong001 kinda Gibsonish
Yes with hum buckers single coil pickups vs single coil which growl and scream a bit more naturally.
Where can I purchase a dvd copy?
BluesRocket is headed by Patrick Ford??
Baddass
Robben's guitars have the truss rod cover removed , hmmm , is he always tweaking the truss rod ?
wow, good detail
7:37 - onwards.. kills me to learn it
The organ player......!!!!....seems to have vanished from the face of the earth since.....but aced it big time IMHO.....

I think the champ is miles davis influenced
Why this man isn't a household name beggars belief.

Keyboards killed it better even than Robben!
