I never take it out. I did 100-150 this summer. With half of them being 30 inches plus.
I love my Woodland Mills stump grinder on my 1025R. It more than paid for itself.
You are lucky that you haven't broke the grinder. Never grind with the transport pin in place!
I saw that too. Man... some people aint got the common sense to read the manual.
Yep and always work right to left as you sit in the seat!
He forgot to take out the pin so the machine can tilt upwards under high tension. .
How do you monitor grinding action? Seems that you would have a stiff neck twisting all the time.
You're going to wreck that thing using it with the lock pin in. Watch the manufacturer's video at czcams.com/video/UeBRpAgQG7k/video.html
Nice!
What kind of price range for the grinder.
Christopher Kent $2300+300 for shipping
Will it grind if you go backward? Or does it only grind in one direction?
Goin Downhill only going forwards
one direction only. There are no teeth on the back of it. trying to use it going backwards would damage it.
why did you leave the pivot pin in, I thought you take it out when cutting. keeps it from bouncing while cutting
j1mb0b3 I forgot to take it out. It still jumps with it out.
@@nji345 what pin are you talking about? why do you think it jumps like that?
Jay Strong it’s the pin to let it pivot. It jumps because of to big of bite which brings down the rpms.
@@nji345 so if the pin was out it would lay back to help ease over it?
how is it holding up for you? I am thinking of getting one to clear 65 acres of stumps.. wonder how long it would last?
I'm curious of what you charge per inch per stump? Or flat rate?
Is that the best pto grinder for the money? Im looking for one.
The only thing I regret is not buying it sooner.
@@nji345 ...and not taking the pin out!
@@johndd8186 I grind with it in 99% of the time.
What type of tree is that? Hardwood? Thanks.
Bob Smith not 100% sure what kind it is. It is a hardwood.
What is your pto horsepower??
nji345 how do you feelit powered the unit? Im thinking of buying one. Good product?
Dilbert Hogwash it handles it good. Some more hp would be good but it does fine. Very good product. I should have got one when I first saw them this spring.
nji345 perfect. Thank you very much.
