back when ff7 first camera I did not know how mythril was pronounced, so I pronounced it as "my thrill." So Aerith owned a "my thrill rod."

Fun fact: In the original FF7, Eligor is a randomly spawn monster that you can also steal one of Aerith's weapon called Striking staff which has the same unique look as the Bladed staff. When I first encounter Eligor in FF7R I was really hyped because I remember spending alot of time just wandering around the train graveyard trying to get Eligor spawn in the original game.
And he only spawns on the northern screen, not the southern one.

People sleep on clouds focused thrust. Huge stagger potential. Also when it comes to 300 stagger, charge up tifa to rise and fall. Get her atb refilled. Spam rising fall onmi strike, use 2 more unbridled strength. Rinse repeat. You can destroy bahamut in like 40 seconds with this combo.
Don't forget about throwing stop on them while staggered to stop the bar
Just use unbridled strength>unbridled strength>rise and fall>omnistrike>uppercut on tifa to easily stagger 200%+ for stagger report super early in the game. Its quick and easy to pull off with 2 atb bars.

I was lucky, I just HAPPENED to have steal equipped when I got to that point. I assessed the dude and was just like "huh, you can steal a weapon, that's cool".

Revival, chapter 4 at the end right before the cut scene with Wedge, Briggs and Jessie. It's the only time you can get it without having to buy it in later chapters and is extremely missable

I really wish they got more creative with the swords. I found most of them pretty bland or even ugly. I still just went back to the Buster Sword. It's the best looking and most balanced sword.
Proggy Froggy haven’t gotten very far but the buster is such a cool weapon
Twin Stinger is the best weapon for Cloud in this first part
@@Kagetora- Mwah, doesn't have much in attack power. It's a more materia focused weapon. I do like it tho. Too bad the rest of the weapons don't look as unique.
@@KhaosKontroller It's the only sword that has Reprieve which is very handy for Hard Mode.
@tyvek05 so not true. Not only does it give him extra hp and defense stats it increases his punisher mode attacks/limt breaks and has a great magic stat. However if you don't use magic with cloud the best way to go is the hard edge. The other 3 swords do not have enough attack stat and would leave the iron sword in 3rd place. Only use this over the buster sword if you need the 2 extra materia slot. Otherwise buster/hard edge are the best swords imho
Looking forward to these characters getting their actual ultimate weapons.
I'm sure it will be a LONG time before that happens though (at the earliest, I would guess somewhere mid/late 2021, but more likely sometime in 2022). I suspect that "Part 2" of the Remake *might* go as far as the City of the Ancients (to act like a sort of "capstone" for the "Disc One" content from the original). Then I figure we'll get a Part 3 that covers most of the stuff up to the point where the group returns to Midgar for the finale. And then "Part 4" will be the "finale" in Midgar and then the final trek through the Northern Crater for the final battle against Sephiroth (or perhaps, this time around we might instead have something like "JENOVA-Calamity" as the true final boss where we actually fight the original form of JENOVA at full power, ans she could turn out to even be more powerful than Sephiroth himself once restored to her original form and with her full power back at her disposal).
Though I do wonder if the next parts of the Remake will be released as standalone "games", or if they will instead all be released as a sort of DLC/Expansion Pack to the current Remake?

@@huzino7716 they'll likely charge full price regardless of the method, but I got FF7 remake for free so I don't mind.
They'll likely make it a seperate game though as maintaining balance while importing save data 1-1 would likely be a nightmare. Unless you take the simple approach of "make everything the same level as the player or slightly higher for bosses and just implement linear stat progression based on level."
Every part is likely to be mostly of not entirely self contained. At most the world might adjust slightly based on your actions like in mass effect, but given that most, if not all, of your actual choices come down to changes in dialogue that seems like an unreasonable expectation.

This will be the first FF game I purchase. Soon as I get this paycheck next Wednesday. I hear about the franchise a lot but in my 15 years of gaming, I'd never thought of trying any final fantasy games.
the old classic final fantasy games before 7 look and play almost like a classic legend of zelda. it wasn't till final fantasy 8 came out when i bought it for my sega dreamcast or maybe my ps2, i can't remember which system back in the day. but it was my first experience playing a final fantasy game. i bought it cause of how many discs it was. lol like 4 i think. it was on sale and i figured hell, i tried it out. it blew my mind playing it. didn't like 9 though, it just seemed to childish and cartoony. then i liked 10 and 11 was online only, then i liked 12 as well. think those are the only ones i really played. another good series like final fantasy i used to like was one called grandia. if you get your hands on it. you should try it. it's pretty fun. i think there are 3 of them.

I think they also slipped a very subtle reference to Chrono Trigger into the game as well in the form of your "landlady" in Sector 7: Marle (the old lady), as she has the same name as a party member from Chrono Trigger, and she kinda looks like an elderly version of her to boot.

The only boss i stole from was that horse boss and it was randome i just wanted to try the skill out, and wop woop i got the staff first try. And it was equiped on tifa :P haha

I know I missed most of Barrett’s weapons and I got them from the vendor in the Shinra building so if u miss any of those weapons except the pincers purple gloves and the bladed staff u can buy it from the last vendor

I was wondering what the ONE weapon I missed was... didnt know it had to be stolen from a boss lol (I also missed Tifas final one on the shinra monkey bars but I went back later in the chapter select and got it) Ill be sure to nab it during my hard playthrough.

Complete the game, then you unlock both Chapter Select & Hard Mode. So it's not like they are permanently miss-able, you *can* eventually go back for them once you complete the final chapter of the game.

wow i was wondering where Aeriths second last weapon was and i was supprise that it was a hidden weapon that you had to use steal on cleaver SE so cleaver :P

Just like it used to be like in og 7 and in 8. Could easily miss the best things. The best isn't meant to be handed to you. You gotta work for it.

I have the deluxe edition bought and in that edition a book is added with all weapons on it. There are far more weapons on that book then shown in the game. I wonder if we can get them somehow.

They need the fusion sword as a dlc weapon. Not the sword in its final form but looking for it parts to make that form.

Okay, can someone explain to me how to get the proficiency bonus for aeriths reinforced staff? "Conjure a ward" I tried conjuring arcane ward, I tried using manaward. Does it want me to cast the ATB ward again?
How’s replay value for the game? Is there an arena mode to just fight waves abd waves of enemies
Steal works better on Tifa cause she has the highest luck stat (luck increases how often you get critical strikes as well as increases the effectiveness of steal)
Steal scales with a characters luck stat also in my experience, I had more luck stealing from staggered enemies.
U forgot to mention star shower also mention star shower also empowers the next attack ability or magic cast by tifa
The apocalypse blade from the original was my favorite
Steal in these types of games is sometimes based off of speed . So essentially the faster a character is the higher chance they have. Tifa has a higher speed so that makes sense

It's also the best weapon for Cloud in hard mode because of the Elemental damage boost.

The reason why you Tifa is better at stealing is because her « Luck » attribute is higher than the others ;)
You can also add a « Luck UP » Materia to boost you Luck up to 50% (on Max level)
Against the 2nd last boss, during a stagger window, Barret with 3 ATB charges Point Blank did 17k damage. I'm not sure if point blank can bypass 9999 damage cap, or that fight is special.
I've never passed the cap with anything else, that's crazy.

I don't know what is the max level but yes,you can replay the game all over again with all the materia and equip you have,and There's the hard mode,and you keep leveling up.
@@LucasCamargo827 Max level cap is 50. After that, you get new weapon points in hard mode.
The way it works is your characters and your inventory all stay static and move with you as you choose chapters to replay. So you're not starting a new game, think of it as just updating. Your story decisions update if you replay a chapter in full, as well as your inventory and character progression. Choosing a previous chapter does not revert anything but key items, and only for that chapter.

Yes, most of the SP you get comes from collecting manuscripts on hard mode though.

You can just do it again on Chapter Select.
This game does a great job of making use of “New Game+” type features. So even after missing something it doesn’t feel like a waste going back to get it after you finish the game.

I don't think anything is truel missable. Just missable the first time you pass through. You can chapter select later.
Also the 'missable' weapons end up at weapon shops to buy. They try really hard for you to not miss anything important.

steal is based of luck and speed stats so tifa tipicly has great speed due to weapon upgrades and natually has good luck (coz she a gambler)

@@Surefire11B always thought it was both o well but in the remake speed also affects how fast the atb increases so you get more chances with high speed
