as someone who works in retail and has collected receipts for art over the years, I gotta warn you that the printed text and photos wear off and go invisible over time from sun, water, or even tape glue exposure.

@@fivey209 Just take a photo of it. Also, certain brands sell paper that lasts 10 and even 20 years (they are more expensive of course). The brands I know are Paperang and Phomemo
I think you can make it last longer by covering it with transparent tape. Just an idea I had for that problem, but I'll test it myself when I get mine.
But now thinking more about that it might not work since it will be influenced by heat not direct exposure.

I just received my new Pink PeriPage 304dpi from AliExpress last week. (304dpi is the newest & better quality) I got it for $48 + free shipping to Australia, they had a tech sale on & I just had to get it, I'm so glad I did. It's only $52au now after the sale, which is WAY CHEAPER then any other apps I searched for it on. I ❤️ mine, I'll be using it to make labels/stickers for my acrylic nail powder jars & monomer bottles to sell.

Before you purchase one, you may want to do some research. Most thermal printers/paper has BPA in it which is really bad for you. You can google up about it. I didn't realize it until I noticed it looked like a receipt kind of paper and then, realizing that thermal paper has BPA. You can google "does thermal paper fave bpa" or "what is bpa and is it bad/good for you". Hope this helps and hope to spread awareness about BPA!
The original peripage paper is BPA free! So,use the original one.

Ive had mine for a little over a year. It used to print nice clear photos. Recently, it has stopped woekubg properly. I followed the cleaning instructions, but the pictures are still coming out looking unfinished and unclear.

i got mine in the mail today! i completely looked past the fact it doesn't print in colour since i wanted to make stickers out of my art. i'm having some trouble with it though, and i can't seem to find any forums for it online. everytime i try to print using the sticker paper i bought with it, the images print out very narrow and not in the same size as when i use normal printing paper. does anyone know why this happens and how i can fix i?
@Steph Ramos: You have to have use the exact same paper it comes with and only works on Android .

Hello, do you know why the A6 is not compatible with iPhone xs Bluetooth? It always says that it's not compatible and so I cannot use it with my phone 😪 ... Did you have similar problems?

Using Contact or sticky tape, the paper is equivalent to a receipt

No, way too small. They're just a little bit bigger than the size of the airpod case.

No. Unless you'd get a big, probably rather expensive one companies print shipping labels with. Never seen anything bigger than A5 though, and it's no longer portable either. Not even sure what you can print with those programs, since they're not intended for photo, to do lists, etc printing.

Being thermal paper, the printout may be ruined if it gets in contact with isopropyl alcohol. I notice that when I rub my hands with alcohol (my habit) and touch a receipt printed on thermal paper, the touched portions become dark.

DO NOT USE THIS FOR SHIPPING. They will fade, it's a thermal print. They also fade when in contact with adhesive tape.
I think my prints are not as dark as yours. Is there anything to be done to improve that? I love mine otherwise.

it's a thermal printer.. using thermal paper, so no ink needed. But it can fades, like cashier receipt

Yes it's compatible with iPhone. And In terms of its thermal printing technology you can print onto labels I believe from their store.

It is a thermal printer. Same as receipts in shops. It doesn't have ink in it and it is only b&w because of the heat projecting the image

Man, I'm VERY tempted to buy this. We all want a simple, easy printer. On the store page it says they come out as stickers, so can the backs be removed?
There are two types of rolls available - thermal sticker and thermal receipt paper style. Hope this helps.

I have tried regular roll in it and its fine as long as its the same size as the stock roll. :)

i am thinking about using it for printing pictures of moments to remeber so I can clue them in my diary. It would be a pity if they smeared.
I advise you not to use any thermal printing for your memories. They eventually fade, at most, within 10 years (as they claim) but a lot of my friends have whined about the prints starting to fade within 7 months. If you intend to keep it safe from fading for a while, keep it away from heat and chilly temperatures. 😊 If you want to print photos using a portable machine, you can try searching "Kodak Mini"

Ordered one 2 months ago and still waiting for it to arrive. Be aware they just drop ship them, they don't actually have any stock to send. Drop shipping seems to be the way of modern business so they don't spend any money. If it breaks, no doubt it will have to go back to China to get fixed.

Put gentle force on the top pushing down, it should slide open. don't be worried to apply bit more pressure if needed.

@@AJ-hq5xp actually in the peripage exists in 2 versions 303 pdi and 203 pdi. Also for the paperang there is p1:200 pdi and p2:300 pdi

This printing technology is great for girls to give their boyfriends or vice versa -- if they break up then the pictures they gave their ex will fade!! 😆 (And if they don't then all the better!)
The battery is ridiculous. Has to be recharged after every use! I wish I knew. If you intend to get one, keep that in mind. I have to recharge mine every time I use it. Wouldn't recommend it at all.

The paper that these thermal printers use, much like receipts, have been reported to be carcinogenic and the chemicals used toxic to human health.
Please do your research before purchasing.
I recently bought one myself with a stack of paper refills on the way, but only found out about its harmful effects afterwards :(.... Though it's an extreme waste....I don't think I'll be using it anymore.
