- We are very excited to offer this aged Yi Wu raw pu-erh tea! The tea was harvested in Spring 2003, and then stored as loose leaf "mao cha" in Yi Wu before being purchased by the Hong Xuan Tea Factory at the end 2006 when it was pressed. Since then it has been stored in the mountainous area to the north of Kunming.
This is well aged tea that will surprise many with it's aged character. Warm, thick, sweet, and complex to drink.

Happy new year! Any favorites from 2021? I can certainly think of a few!
Hi Chad! Too many to mention. Which are your faves from 2021?
Thanks for the video. I love to cold brew those aged shous and shengs. So far, the older the better it seems
Cold brewing this might be really intense.
@@Yunnansourcing now I really want to try 😂. I was perusing your site today. So many aged shous to choose from at varying price levels. I will definitely be ordering samples
@@leeennise.a3338 Thanks! ;-)
Hi guys!!! Missed seeing you. Hope you’re both doing well!!!
Road trip???
Was the audio in the lost video just quiet? If so, maybe you can turn it up in the raw file before uploading to CZcams? Or maybe CZcams itself has audio correction ability? But if it sounds underwater or garbled, there probably won't be a way to fix it.
I will see if I can correct it.
people really be out there thinking they can school Scott Wilson on what constitutes good tea... the audacity
I know right??? ;-)
We have a 2003 pu'er tea cake in a box, the cakes iself has elephant art pressed onto it, and tree art on the rear side? We've googled it but cant find any pu'er tea cake with art on it like ours, its a big 600gram one, and we have no idea what its worth?
so the QS existed in 2006?
Yes, it started in 2005, although not all 2005 pu-erh teas had the QS stamp. By 2006 pretty much everything had it. Even in 2005 Menghai Tea Factory had to hand-stamp the QS on this production last minute to comply with the new rules. yunnansourcing.com/collections/2005-and-before-menghai-tea-factory-teas/products/2005-menghai-7592-501-ripe-pu-erh-tea-cake
the audio was poor.
just kidding.
lol
