I became huge fan of these Indies and now became a regular follower of LU, NJPW, ROH, PWG and I have no regrets for moving away from wwe as these Indies keep me entertained continuously and I am so happy about it...
I know as a company Lucha Underground didn’t have the best practices when it came to employment and a lot of wrestlers who worked their claimed they were underpaid, locked into contracts, etc. But my gosh, it was perhaps the greatest wrestling show I’ve ever seen. Not one wrestler on the show looked weak unless they were supposed to and every wrestler had at least one major storyline
Holy shit season 3 was intense. Weapons of Mass Destruction. Azteca vs Matanza Death Match. Aztec Warfare III. All Night Long... Again. Black Lotus Triad vs Pentagon Gauntlet Match. Hell of War. Lucha de Apuestas. Cage/Crane/Mil Muertes War for the Gauntlet. I don't know how they're going to up the ante for Season 4, and I'm not entirely sure I want them to- I don't want to see these guys _die_ for our entertainment. But god-damn if it isn't the best thing in the world all the same.
