How to fix #SANDISK broken #flashdrive with thorn USB connector EDUCATIONAL PURPOSE ONLY ‎@qubexdatarecovery This flash drive was previously worked on by someone but they could not get it to work nor recover data from it. This particular flash drive model is SANDISK CRUZER GLIDE 32GB but it will be similar technique for all flash drives that have ripped off usb connector. This one is USB2 so it has only 6 solder points in normal condition (not broken) while USB3 will have like double of that. plus USBC wil be much smaller contacts. With 32GB capacity, worse case scenario, if flash drive would not come on, we would need to do so called CHIP-OFF recovery, when NAND memory chip is desoldered and read out on special reader device, but this case did not need chip removal.
