OK. . . Kudos, again!
You, once again, have raised the bar high. Now all your Bro-U-Tubers are left in the dust. Keep showing them how to refresh their content by stepping out of their comfortable norms. Buddy, you are in the lead by a long shot. So refreshing to see "new creative content" instead of the same old girl in the same old dress in the same old settings. You Da Man !
Keep on, Keeping On!
Come to watauga river in Carter county, bout 1.5-2 hrs east of Gatlinburg. I kayak fish w spinners and catch at least ten in a 2 hr trip. I bank fish at our campground during spring and summer and fish w chicken livers and catch 30 inch trophy browns and a occasional striper
Nice a fishing...
Love it,, 👍
I do a ton of trout fishing and practically no salt water fishing 😂.
Your theory on the conditions as absolutely the way it is. A cloudy overcast day with murky water is perfect.
If you think those are beautiful fish you've gotta make arrangements to go catch some wild browns! Awesome video as always man!
TBH love all the content. But if I had to choose, I love the catch and cook. They are my favorite.
Trout spoons are the most fun to catch ‘em with 🍻
Enjoyed this video.
I bought the same combo on a vacation trip in Florida just so I had something to use and bring home that would fit in a suitcase.
Hope to see more of you fishing in Florida in 2024 plus would be interested in your traveling fishing adventures, maybe in LA, MS, AR, TX, etc .
Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing.
Great video! One of the most enjoyable videos you have done. Thanks for visiting our beautiful state.
Great job Brant!!! Keep up the good work!! Tight Lines!!
Just a suggestion, but a pair of wadding boots would have helped in those creeks! You would have better angles, and you wouldn't have to worry about slipping of those rocks LOL. Awesome fishing none the less! Would love to fish here, nice change of pace from Florida.
I love your choices of content. Just do as you always have...surprise us!!😂🎣⭐
I cringe every time you throw the dinner plate back😂😂😂
Great video, great change of pace.
Loving the trout fishing Brant That 1 trout was a really nice one.
The rest of Them made for a fun day That's not even counting the gorgeous scenery.
What a beautiful place
Love it when you fish on road trips. Swamps road, side, mud holes, it doesn't matter, just something fun and different.
A blue joes fly w a silver willow blade... Works everywhere in east tn at all times. From Mtn streams to lakes
Duuuuude..that was a monster rainbow...kudos man!
Ya know the bears love it when U bring it to them!
Looks like a fun day of fishing! Highly recommend getting yourself a landing net. Something with a rubber basket. You’ll have a lot more success getting fish to your camera.
Again I'm from Gatlinburg and love it when you come here and make videos. Maybe one day I can go fishing with you and show you my spots I usually go over there by the dam off by the lake and catch some good stripers and catfish. Well I hope you liked your vacation and get home safe brother.
I'd like to see more travel fishing adventures. This was a fun one.
Maybe do a collaboration with John from Creek Fishing Adventures.
Another great video Brant. Were you guys there during the Tornado outbreak just recently?
I remember the video where you bet Ron couldn't catch a trout in 24 hours and he came here and caught one. Miss them videos with You guys and the fan mail. Funny story about Ron he came up here and went to our local trout farm caught him one then walked to the creek and asked the owner to take a picture of him and it and he said he caught it from that creek😂. I hope his wings are flying high
Love the fresh water content.
That’s some nice trout! I live in Tennessee but I haven’t trout fished at all. You have to have a separate fishing license for tout. Awesome videos. Enjoy your vacation
Big thumbs up 👍🏻 Doesn’t matter to me either as long as you’re catching fish which it seems like you don’t have a problem doing 😂❤
Went from a big fish to ... itsa biggn ! You're gettin tennifyied 😍
Man brant you make me want to take a drive up from Tampa to do some river trout fishing, love my gulf of Mexico, but love river fishing, thanks for the awesome video, can't wait to come visit your store when I head up your way in January
What’s that go pro set up you’re carrying? Bad ass set up. Awesome video thanks for the content
Can't wait to get back up there and do that myself! Loved the video, Brant. Thank you so much!
Sparta NC. Great trout fishing.
I'd like a travel video on the Gulf coast here in Texas. Specifically Corpus Christi, Rockport, and/or Port Aransas. Those are our spots and I'd love to get tips from you for those areas. My dad loves fishing, but he can never just fish without helping someone with a tangled line or any other issue. And when he does get to fish it's just straight bad luck. I've been watching your videos, was struggling with a birthday present idea for my dad, it was feb 16th, and thought of building him a rod. But I'm at a lost as to what specifications I should build for. We've only done offshore once, so its mostly pier fishing and occasional channels off the side of the road.
Love Tennessee. Hunted boar twice and smallmouth once. All three rocked. Maybe the Dakotas for some ice fishing?
Everglades on a flats boat. sight casting in the mangroves for big snook ;)
Bridge monster fishing with the bum and bearded brad
You were about a Hr. From where I live in Hot Springs N.C. On the Tn line. You need to come fish the streams around here and at a place called Laurel River really nice streams for Trout. I can’t wait to get back down to FL and do some more saltwater fishing. I go down to Juno and Jupiter and fish atleast a few times a yr.
Come north and due some ice fishing!😊
Love ya man.
Ok,I would love to see you do some Largemouth fishing in Lake Guntersville in Alabama( they have Florida strain there),or some smallmouth bass fishing just down the Tennessee river in Wheeler resevoir. My oldest son has a podcast called Koondick Outdoors, and he has caught a 5 lb smallmouth in Wheeler as well as some huge largemouth there. My Travel suggestion for next year!
Mepps makes some small inline spinners with a single hook that I've some luck with there in Gatlinburg. But I do love those Trout magnets.
Amazing video, be some good eating
We live our dreams thru you. Plus I feel like if you can do it, I can do it. Especially if you show us how!
Them rainbow trout is some good eatin'
I really wish you would come over here and go fishing somewhere near Jacksonville so that I can tag along with you, and learn from the best brother!😅
But, I wouldn't mind if you went to like Alaska or Canada or something for some big steelhead or salmon. Maybe some halibut or other things that are akin to Alaskan/Canadian waters. I was also going to mention, when you're stream fishing like that, you should definitely be wearing some hip waders so that you just don't have to worry so much about falling in, and for those areas that it's hard to navigate, you just walk up the shallows.
If you get the chance to go to upstate ny for salmon in late October you will have a blast. There will be a ton of people there but most of them will be friendly and share info and tips. Its worth the trip.
Man I was up there this whole weekend can’t believe I didn’t run into ya!
You should head up to one of the Great Lakes and fish the Great Lakes for steelheads pike musky etc.
That big Rainbow looks like a Salmon!😂
Come on over to the northeast Florida! Here in Jacksonville, Fl we have amazing fishing!
Amazing is a bit of a stretch
@@squirrel9760when and wherever you’re on the water catching fish it is and will always be amazing! Sorry you couldn’t catch fish in Jax, fl
I love going trout fishing I like your video catching trout but their is one thing about trout fishing they say when you catch a trout be for you take it off your hook you should wet your hand be for you touch the trout because you will take the slime off him the fish needs it for the cold weather
Where u caught your big one is the same exact spot i caight a 24"
Come up to the North Carolina coast next year!
When you said you're not allowed to use any live bait, what about like powerbait or salmon eggs? Because they're not alive, but...do you know what I mean? Also, could you have gone fly fishing up there in the mountains? Because I would think that it would work great! I happen to use spinners for just about every type of fishing (especially in freshwater). Trout love spinners! Anyway, God bless you and your family, and have a blessed Christmas season as well.😊🎣🎣🐟
I would like you to hit the famous places. To show us the reality of fishing in the common great places.Catfish on Santee, smallmouth on Dale Hollow, largemouth on Castiac.
Wished I had known left the day before… there for my birthday…❤
I was JUST there a few weeks ago, know exactly where you caught those, thats crazy didnt know theres some decent trout around there.
I'd luv to see you in Montana
I would love to see Brant fish iconic fishing spots around the country, fresh and saltwater. He has such a great personality and would be so cool to see how he experiences the new places and techniques. (And we need the bacon grease goddess cooking those fish up too!)
You need to check out the trout and salmon fishing in Lake Ontario.
Another place in TN for trout is Center Hill Dame. Its a trophy section stream. I may be mistaken now. But last time I was there, rainbows had to be 18", and browns had to be 24" to keep them. A 24" brown is a good time, to say the least.
Brant my grandfather always said no such thing as a bad cast as long as your in water there's fish
You should try the maumee river walleye or white bass run in northwest ohio starts around mid March for the walleye and ends with the white bass. Normal about the first week of April is best for walleye and twards the end of April the white bass move in
Love trout magnets I always use them in open water and every fish loves them. I have a lot of luck on gold, gold with bright orange, white and some others
I would like to see you walleye fish, lake Winnebago, bay de noc, lake Erie
you're fishing in my "neck of the woods". My lifelong dream is to do some rainbow trout fishing. I'd hope to do it with my husband, but he passed away. So, when/if I do it, it will be with my daughter.
The allure of digging for night crawlers must have been intense Lol!
I'm only 2 hours from Gatlinburg and go there frequently, have never fished there before though. Will have to try that out.
We sometimes stay in Cherokee NC (very similar rivers and same target species) and I fish there for trout. I've always had good luck with tiny spinners and spoons, throwing those into the rapids and letting them get slowly swept downstream keeping them spinning. The best way is to present the lure naturally, which is to toss it upstream and let it just float downstream with the current like a small fly or grub would do. Artificial spiders work well 🫡
Might also lose the kiddie rod and get something just a tad bigger lol
No fishing on Thursdays. Just a head up.
@@nickpappageorge6465 🤣🤣 yeah learned that from his last one
I love it down there
Hay Brant go to CR and drive to Monte Verde. You will laugh at the mountain driving in the states.
This answers the question of whether they’re stocked or not. TN stocks heavily around the city for the tourists
Up state NY for lake Ontario spring King Salmon or OH Lake Erie for some Walleye/Pickerel
You could try ice fishing, but this might not be a good winter for it due to el nino
Come to Michigan crappie or blue gills fishing
You need to do a Invite Brant to fish videos... Ie Here in St Marks area or where ever a viewer invites you to come fish......
I may of missed it. But what size Rod and Reel and line size are u using there. We visit the Gatlinburg area alot. But.never fish there. I'm going to try this next yeat
Aloha. He was using 4lb in the last video.
Damn man just left last week lol
reminds me of fishing an area where I live called Smoke Hole
Come fish the Galveston area!
hey brant im gonna send you some info to a trout farm in Missouri that I use to fish a lot as a kid growing up in the midwest
Brant don't be embarrassed cause it's not like you have control of which fish is going to hit
The audio is like it is at it's max making it sound bad. Lowering the volume still makes it sound like it is maxing out speakers. Just wanted to share. Love seeing you fish in Gatlinburg though
What kind of gear are you using?
Is that the same bridge you got kicked out from under last year? lol
Go to Cherokee grill and try the smoked trout it's amazing
Remer to "Pay to park"
Great action, Brant! Congrats on catching that big one - that was exciting. Come up to Ohio next year!
MIght want to meet up with Jay and Cole to fish in upper Arkansas rivers for trout. Beautiful area.
Aloha. Didn’t gatlinburg burn down a few years ago. I mean the main drag?
Need to make a video 2024 in the Bahamas with Beach Bum, and Bearded Brad
We would like you to come to Daytona Beach and teach us how to fish in the ocean here and in the brackish water of the Halifax! Love your videos, storytelling, and enthusiasm!😃
Try a rooster tail next time when your out of the city
What's the wrist band from Brant? You and the misses go out to a club? lol
I wish we had some good clubs here brother. They used to but one but it burned down and now it's mostly moonshine tasting wine tasting and t-shirt shops. Gatlinburg isn't the same..
Head to the opposite end of the state and fish at Reelfoot.
What exactly your setup
Hit the Pacific Northwest up!!!
Have you been to the greenbrier restaurant great food and haunted restaurant!
Yes. We just went there and thought it was the best restaurant in the area.
We stayed at the hotel you were fishing ar the 7 min mark and there are bears in that area
Man, youre in the trout capital of the east and are fishing in a barrel. Hit Cades Cove or Little River and get away from those stockers. Dont sell yourself short!
Abram’s falls in cades cove
Grassy Creek in Hartford is the best 😉
Don’t cut the stockers short I make the best smoked trout dip you will ever put in your mouth
@@3422dave what are the rules/laws for fishing Abrahams falls ?
@@WhiteTrashTennessee I have not fished it in a few years so I don’t want to misinform you on it but if you move down the trail from everyone there is a great fishing I think it’s single hook lures but double check
Number one buy some new line coil set is bad, grab you some 4 lb. test and use on clear days spinners such as joe fly or pink worm trout magnet is a jigging bait.
Do you need to get a new fishing license when you are out of state?
Yup.
I asked my wife to marry me right there on that bridge in front of the aquarium!
