Ground Dwellers & If You Were A Movie This Would Be Your Soundtrack are my two favorite this year. Both amazing bands. I love every song on both albums.

As much as it does sound like Pounce Bounce, this song was written a long time ago, you can find an acoustic video of it dating from before Downtown Battle Mountain 2 came out. The two bands just had similar ideas, both good.

@LaxCommander Right you are. Honestly...last time I heard an album--not just a bunch of songs in a compilation, but an actual "album"--this good from start to finish was 2003. I was so strongly starting to abhor modern rock music, but every once in awhile a band will come completely out of left field with thoughtfully written and beautifully executed music. HLH is one of those bands. BUY THE HELL OUT OF IT WHILE THIS KIND OF MUSIC STILL THRIVES!

I agree. Plus the instrumental portion of their songs seem to always over power the lyrics, which makes it hard to understand what the lead singer says. Might just be me but idk.
