How so? Penn state was great program now they are a good one. Looking up to ohio state as usually, when they can go to college playoffs I will then say they back on map, but that's to be determined
"On the map?" I'm not a Penn State fan, but their football program has a rich and storied history. They've traditionally been one of the top 3 or 4 teams in the Big 10, and have always been known for football.
True but this led to penn state making the rose bowl, winning the big 10, and being top 10. It all started here.

Living in State College I remember being able to see the stadium from my house as the TV was playing in the background. We are around 5 miles from the stadium but you could hear the screaming it was insane. This was something special
I lived in Toftrees for awhile and the sound from the stadium was unreal. It was about 2 miles as the crow flies.
Some friends of mine were running vendors during it and they wouldn’t let them have a TV to watch when the block happened they said it got deafening and you literally couldn’t hear some two feet away

I watch this once a month when I get sad. My favorite college football game of all time and the music is just perfection.
I was here for this game with my father the day after we lost my Uncle, a long time Penn State fan. I’ll never forget that moment of rushing on to the field with my dad and when Grant Haley returned the blocked kick for a TD. It truly was an emotional and unforgettable experience that I will cherish for the rest of my life

I remember this game. I was the only person up in the house. I got up and was “screaming” when Penn State blocked that field goal. My dad yelled at me the next morning and all I told him was he missed it.

i have been going to Penn State games for over a decade now. This was the single wildest experience I have ever had at a football game. It was deafening. The final two sacks had the Beaver Stadium vibrating. Unbelievable win.

I was at this game. Words can't describe what it was like. I've been at a few big games at Beaver Stadium, like the 4 OT victory over Michigan. But that doesn't compare to this. I mean the whole place was shaking! 2.0 on the Richter scale!
I still don't believe OSU can Handle Michigan even in Columbus this season. But, I'm a Michigan fan and I was very impressed with Penn States determination and drive to win this game. The proved a lot to everyone. They're a legit team.
I agree, the Buckeyes will be ready tomorrow when Northwestern team comes to town, but you cannot overlook them they have the top receiver and top running back in big 10 and the quarterback is number three in big ten. If the Bucks think going into Northwestern game tomorrow is going to be a piece of cake they may just get rolled again. The team is not too happy about the loss to Penn state, so they are filled with vengeance and Northwestern is going to be the unlucky recipient of the Buckeye machine.
OSU will crush Michigan again, they are very over rated. I don't believe Michigan has nearly the quality of players on the team that OSU does. One loss is not a big deal but there are still eleven teams undefeated at this time. OSU has a much tougher road ahead the MU. Bucks have to play three more top 10 teams, MU only has one OSU. So if MU does not show up for one of there next three games, they will be ranked down there around #7 or #8. and things change.
Well guess what happened, my OSU Bucks pulled it off!

Amazing how I saw this team go all the way to the Rose Bowl in just my freshman year at PSU. This was probably the greatest game I've ever seen live in any sport

I was at the Arizona State game, and people all around me were watching on their phones and going crazy! Would have loved to watch this one live. I can't even begin to imagine what the atmosphere was like there

i watched this game live at home i still remember this day clearly. i’m a longhorn fan i’m from tx but i was rooting for penn state bc y’know they were the underdogs i was tuned in whole game and when they blocked that field goal... sheesh crazy. i got chills just watching can’t imagine the atmosphere actually being there
I am 15 years old and I saw this game in happy valley. It was like a new core memory.
The Penn State Whiteout is amazing. The Only fan base that can match it is Georgia, with fans showing up in red all around the stadium (black occasionally) on game day.
I was coming home from the Texas A&M vs Alabama game and I was watching the last couple of minutes on watch ESPN this is what I said to my dad when Right before penn state blocked the field goal

Most people don’t realize, in college football, how fast kickers are. Look at the blocked field goal, Durbin kept up with him, he just couldn’t make the tackle. For those of you who say he just had the angle, give him credit for that too, go outside and have someone run and while they start you have your momentum going another direction, he didn’t take off until Haley was at top speed. The block is at 10:33
The best atmosphere in all of college football is a Whiteout in Beaver Stadium.
I usher at Beaver Stadium and was there that night. The Stadium was literally rocking!
I would say this is a strange season so far but that would be a lie. Just a normal season for college football lmao
I grew up an OSU fan but chose PSU for its academics and because the campus just felt better to me (I did get into both) and my dad is actually an OSU alum and my brother was a student during this game and they both came to see me and my brother was cracking jokes the whole time saying this was just practice for OSU because PSU was a “shit team” and let me tell you I never felt better after than blocked field goal and knew he was eating his words.

1995 grad. Season ticket holder while in school and since 2006. This was the best game I ever saw in Beaver Stadium and I was blessed to see it with my daughter. I love watching these highlights as it always brings a tear to my eyes.

They said on the map. Pennstate has the biggest fanbase in sports period. Their stadium is one of the if not the biggest in sports. The jerseys r historic and never change. They draft well to the nfl and they r always ranked. I think they have them confused for pennsyvania state university

@@squarebodylincoln 5 actually. Was Vinny Testaverde who played for years with the Bucs and some other teams in the NFL. He threw for a ton of yards and TDs but it never seemed to translate into wins. The Miami team was loaded with NFL talent on both sides of the ball including some all pros and a few hall of famers. They would win that game probably 9 times out of 10, but that wasn't their night.
