@@Aisha_LadyBuilt WELL YOU ARE HONDA GOALS
Hey thanks a lot for making this video I just had to fix a broken wheel stud on my teg
Whoop whoop your back with videos 🙏 missed your vids and you of course
LOL! Yes I'm back! Thank you! I appreciate it! 🧡
Very detailed and extremely helpful. Thank you so much and keep post.
Great video. Helped alot with fitting mine. Thanks!
Thank you!! I'm happy to hear that it helped! :)
A friend of mine who was a tech reused a bearing on my cars when he replaced studs on my Integra, didn't have any issues with the bearings 3-4 years later including a few track days and autocross. He did tell me it was done at his dealership and they didn't pull the hub completely from the bearing, but just enough to get the stud in. I ended up replacing them just out of precaution and when I went with acura TL studs that are slightly longer to allow more spacer, but still allowed me to use closed end lugs. Just wanted a piece of mind because they did have over 155k on them.
To note, another OEM supply of bearings are from BCA/NTN bearings. Seems like the original bearings were Koyo, but the new ones you get from the dealer are NTN. The Bearing part number is AU0907. NTN also sells rear hubs that work with the OEM and ARP sized studs as some aftermarket hubs seem to have a different stud hole size.
On the spacer, look for mini cooper spacers? Those used wheel bolts and with most european cars, a lot of times they just run longer bolts. The use 4x100 bolt pattern and the same 56.1 center bore
Love it. Another great video well explained 👌👍👏👍
Thank you! I appreciate that! 🧡
@@Aisha_LadyBuilt no problem but I appreciate your videos there really well put together and I learn alot your a great teacher. Thank you aisha 🙏
Glad I stumbled on your videos. Great content!
Thank you! I appreciate that! 🧡
Yes I have add wheel bearing grease before pressing it back together works prefect as long as the bearing wasn't damage when removing the hub.
Thank you for responding to my question. I guess I could see where if you add grease and if the bearing was not damaged before, then maybe it could work if it were pressed back together 🤔 interesting...
@@Aisha_LadyBuilt yes believe me it would work I've done it a couple times on my civic when doing the extended studs. As long as it was taking apart without damaging the race you good.
You deserve way more subscribers!! Good vid
Thank you! I appreciate that! 🧡
This is an amazing video.. and honestly i didn’t expect it to be this good of a video. Forgive me god
Thank you! I'm happy that the video was beyond your expectations 😆
Great work studs looks great
Thank you! 🧡
Love it keep it up hun❤🔥one love from upstate new York
Thank you! 🙏
Crazy how you post when I found out our channel a couple ah days ago, keep going!!
LOL that's coincidence! Thank you for watching!
A ladys thats can fix cars 🥰😍

PB Blaster is my best friend for axle nuts! A good quality 1/2in Impact Wrench will make it even eaiser. I would also recommend using a ratcheting style ball joint separator instead of that pickle fork👍It will save the rubber boots.Great job do.
Good idea! I'll have to try a lubricant next time! And I'm going to have to look into a ratcheting style ball joint separator, I've only ever used the fork style. Thank you for your feedback! I really appreciate it! 🧡
I totally agree with you on the ball joint separator. I still can't believe she wedged againts the wilwood caliper in the manner she did. Very bad. An impact is the only way to go. Those axle nuts are on there with 140 pounds. Never wedge anything againts a wilwood caliper
Timken bearings are a true Japanese bearing. Another excellent option and well priced. When reinstalling the 17mm wilwood brake calipers use 42lbs of tourq and a touch of Blue loc-tite
very good instructional thanks!!
Thank you for watching!
Great video!!
Thank you!
Excellent video and super help. I'm now confident I won't be adding extended lug nuts to my ITR🤣
Informative af 👌
Thank you! 🙏
Say it louder 👏 🙌 🤗🤗
I’ve re used the old wheel bearing, good content
Interesting 🤔 thank you for commenting 🙏
Pull up on breaker bar to use your legs instead of pushing down. And yes an Electric Impact would make the axle nut removal much much easier! Sweet vids, & the in depth; step by step + tips/tricks is very well done! Looking forward to next video.
Thank you for the tip! I never tried it like that because I always feel like I'm going to hurt my back, but if I do it in a squat type of way then that might be better and I'm probably stronger that way instead of pushing down. I do need to invest in one of those strong impact guns! Thank you for watching! I appreciate your feedback! 🧡
NEVER, EVER, PULL UP ON A BREAKER BAR, YOU WILL DAMAGE YOUR BACK . YOUR BEST BET IS TO BUY A MILWAUKEE 1/2 IMPACT WRENCH IT WILL MAKE YOUR WORK MUCH EASIER .
Definitely you can remove the studs on spacers, just make sure you get hub centric spacers.I just did this on my eg6
I was watching some DIY videos and left the room for about 30mins and when I came back your videos were playing and I was Like "WTF?!?!?! Is that a chick teaching DIY?!?" Lol and then I subscribed lol your car is super clean and your videos are pretty fuckin awesome 👌keep up the good work 💪
LMAO!!! Thank you for watching and subscribing! I appreciate it!
U aren't the only one dude... I've been hooked on her channel ever since CZcams algorithms hooked me up 🥰🥰
More videos frequently please ❤️ and also invest in a battery powered impact gun makes light work of stubborn bolts and nuts!
Thank you for the interest in more videos! 🧡 I have a few more videos that I am editing that should be uploaded soon! I do need to invest in one of those powerful impact guns!
Buy the spacer with the studs hammer them out i use it on my 240sx when I ran a wide rear panel perfect setup
Great! At least I know that someone else has done it and uses them! Thank you! 🧡
@@Aisha_LadyBuilt it work so good loved it.
Hey Sis where u ben :) welcome back long time glad to see you return. Thanks for the post.
Glad to be back on here :) Thank you for watching! 🧡
Did the Lenso 13 inch slick fit with the Wilwood setup? Are there clearance issues?
I’ve pressed the separated bearing back together with success plenty of times with no problems
Seriously?? Wowww!! That's very surprising to me because I feel like there would be play in the bearing once it was separated. Interesting though! Thank you for commenting! 🧡
Aisha, if you didn't have to replace the ball joints on the spindles you could install those 3" extended wheel studs yourself its not really necessary to remove the whole spindle and to have the old wheel studs knock out and the new ones pressed on a vise that all can be done on the car. I installed a set of ARP wheel studs on the front of my 91 Civic EF hatch Si with a built stock LS/Vtec Motorswap years ago when i had the car. It was simple to install with no problem.
I’m not sure how the hub is positioned on a 91 Civic spindle, but with mine, I would have to grind off a section in order to have clearance for the stud to go in.
You could find a cnc waterjet cutter in your area and get some custom spacers made...
How were the Mickey Thompson Slicks for you? I’ve been thinking about getting a set
What ever happened with the tire fitting etc . Did you end ok fitting those slicks ?
Good night aisha... Love you
✌️

This is all great content and informative. I do have some questions if you can help me understand. To install spacers im under the impression you can just bolt spacers onto your existing studs and the spacers have their own studs that the wheel attaches to so there is no need for extended studs, at least for spacers over 15mm. The other question I have is, if you were just looking to replace your existing studs cant you take off your caliper and hammer out the studs without touching anything else? There should be a little notch in your knuckle that allows for one stud to come out through the back, then rotate the hub and do the next etc. Id love to know since i am looking at extending my wheel studs also but for 5mm spacers so I wont have the option to use the spacers that have their own studs.
Alot of people use wheel adaptors with their own studs. Personally for the track abuse mine gets I went extended Hardrace studs and slot on hubcentric spacers.
Unfortunately there is no easy way of fitting the studs without taking it all apart. I’ve seen that it’s easier on other cars. You could take a little off the studs head to fit on the car if you wanted to bodge the job but personally I wouldn’t.
If you’re only fitting 5mm spacers I wouldn’t do anything to the studs. Originals will be fine. Chances are you’ll pinch the original hub also but I’d advise hubcentric spacers.
Yes i have it is possible as the race pops back in with not much force at all I've done this on a civic rear bearing.
Interesting. I guess I just wouldn't trust it lol
@@Aisha_LadyBuilt Well fingers cross hasn't failed on me yet lol
Lol 😂 🤞
Cool
Thank you ☺️
Thank you!
I had a question, what size sway bar are you running in the front?
26mm Blox
Hello which wilwood caliper is that? Would you happen to remember the part#?

Thank you.
I hate dust shields lol, if I could remove them all together I would. But I don't have proper press sockets/tools to modify my knuckles
🤣🤣 LOL if you really want them off you could take the 2 screws out and cut the shield to get it off 🤷🏻♀️
So in order to change studs I have to change those stuff too or na?
Its recommended ☺️
@@Aisha_LadyBuilt got it
What spacer did you go with and link ?
H&R 15mm - www.evasivemotorsports.com/store/search/?Search=HR-30245616
What wheel is that in the thumb nail?! I have 3 of them and I’ve been trying to find a 4th
They are Kosei K1's or K5R. The K5R is the remake of the K1.
@@Aisha_LadyBuilt dang I was hoping it was different than that, still on the look out
@@fortunesk89 I got mine years ago from a Miata guy lol.. I really only wanted them for my MT ET Street tires because they're lighter weight wheels. Good luck finding them!
Yes you can press the bearing back together, but if your removing the hubs might as well replace, them. But I have been successful.
I also used an axle outside of the car to make sure the bearing seats properly
Interesting 🤔
I usually just ugga dugga this damn axle nut xD
🤣🤣💪
Tip for saving ball joints and boots. Don't use the fork style ball joint separator. Use the type that looks like a stapler. It puts pressure on the bolt (where the nut goes) this way the boot never gets damaged. I learned this the hard way.

A 5lb slide hammer and a couple of blocks of wood with a hammer is all you really need to replace the studs. Just becareful when centering the hub back onto the bearing.
Edit: some deep sockets that are large enough for the studs to go through.
You're right, you don't need much tools to do the job, but the wheel bearing is the part that I like to have pressed in because they're sensitive. Years ago I had someone change my wheels bearings, they even used a press, and when I put the hubs back on the car, the wheel bearing was no good. Idk what they did wrong because I wasn't;t there to watch, but it was so disappointing. Thank you for your feedback! 🧡
@@Aisha_LadyBuilt i feel that 💯
We do it in the caribbean .

Your honda is the sexiest and hardcore
Thank you! 🧡
Dude!!!! That hub is soooo bend. You destroyed every part!!! How did the car drive after you installed everything??
Drives smooth like always 😊

Reusing old race works, just not recommended
I have to say something here and I apologize. NEVER pry anything againts your wilwood caliper in that manner. You can seriously damage the caliper by doing this. Not good.
