I have the meter and it is accurate. But it has a terrible design flaw. When walking around with a camera shoulder strap the ISO/ASA dial changes with the slightest bump. All the dial settings in fact easily get changed with a bump, so you are always before every shot having to check the meter dials. Very challenging for street photography which had to be quick., especially when shooting in color.
It may be in some situations, and you have the option of taking it off camera for different readings. But the M6 meter is built in, so is more convenient.
Had mine for probably ten years and the original batteries are still going strong !.
Brilliant review as always. Clear and precise. Thank you. I will get one definitely
Looks great! Thanks for the review
Great review. I'd love to own one of these, but that price caught me off guard! I guess you have to pay for quality. Some day!
Super helpful video! Thanks for the detail!
Nice kit. Hadn't seen this one.
Thank you! This is very helpful. 👌
Have one that goes with my Leica M3. It's an excellent light meter! :)
very useful, thanks!
Hi Tony!
I hope you're doing well. I hope you'll do some new videos soon. It doesn't have to be on new equipment.
good light meter mate
Does it have sleep mode to save battery life? How long does the battery last?

Put mine on my OM 1
Is this meter better than the meter in camera for Leica M6 TTL and Leica MP?
It may be in some situations, and you have the option of taking it off camera for different readings. But the M6 meter is built in, so is more convenient.
Able to use it on M3 double stroke?
Yes, of course!
Able to use it on M3?
