Love this channel guys. All of us fellow church-techs really appreciate channels like this, it's the same reason I started mine! We forget sometimes that there are others in our community and it's great to have a place to share and grow! To that end, I have a question for you: we film in 24fps with our Ursa's and Pocket Cinema 6k's and it looks great, but our ProPresenter running in 24fps (err "hz") on an iMac had very jittery playback. Have you experienced this? Do I just need a mac with a beefier video card? Know any solutions?

Would love to hear your thoughts on your on-camera monitors. So many different options out there! BM5, Video Assist, Atomos etc. There's a slew of new budget options (Feelworld Lut6/7 etc) but mostly just curious what you look for in a camera monitor. How important is the color reproduction? Focus Peaking? Etc.

Bethel stunting for Jesus! I love the justification of the Red Komodo’s for broadcast even though it’s harder to use than a traditional broadcast camera! The black magic color issue seems like it would be easier and cheaper to fix by using on the fly color grading. Either way I love the tech flex💪🏾 ❗️ To God be the Glory 🤣‼️

How do you control iris (shade) during a live show? Do any of your camera ops have return video to reference for compositing shots? Do you use these on wireless shots? I would think wireless and frame sync latencies added to the LED wall processing delay would be really high. My max acceptable for live IMAG is 133ms of total latency.

If you’re going towards Komodo best go all Komodo. If they look as drastically different as you’ve shown, it looks like different stages with that colour difference! Will be interest to see how long you stick with them, keep us updated

FYI, magenta is the color that looks "pink" ;-) Usually, it looks blue when the color temp of the key lights is lower. If you run a higher key light temp, like 5600K, the magenta tends to look more magenta-like on video because the light source producing the magenta has a higher native temp like 5600K or 6500K.

Do you guys alternate between different shutter speeds/angles depending on the intensity of the moment? I assume you typically are at 1/50 for a majority of the service but it seems like there are some spots where motion is a lot quicker.

Are you still now 2 years later using these same setups, and are you still using an ursa mini for the follow cam or did you switch that for a komodo? I'm curious if the 24p limitation on the komodo wouldn't be good enough for a follow cam during messages/speaking moments?

    • @davidostapuk

They were still using the URSA broadcast for their follow cam as of ~2 months ago (because they were using a b4 lens), but they were looking to upgrade it to a Raptor
