You have to hammer it in, use a rubber mallet or like what I did put a towel over it so you don’t damage the metal. Let me know if you need anymore help
Yes this is the part that gets everyone during this install, it took me awhile like 45 mins, try to drop it in as straight as possible. What I did after almost giving up is take it slow and when it’s in the spot where it needs to pop in, give it a little force. I think if it’s just out of placement, with a little force it pops right in. That’s what I did and it went in. Then be careful that you don’t pull it out after you got it in lol, I almost pulled mine out. You SoCal Local ?
Lol I got impatient and broke the white small bushing. When I was I tried taking out the white plastic bushing.

Jonathan Gayosso my bad not the bushing of the shifter but I can’t fit the white bush into the hole. which took u a while to do
