The MANTIS KING GT from WYRD ⚡️ RYDS is absolutely one of the most BEAUTIFUL scooters on the market. Gold accents, flashy lights, and a very nice screen, the feature packed GT is definitely a high value ride. You will have FUN and you will get STARED AT everywhere you go. I think it's a great option for lighter people concerned about lifting a high performance scooter.

I got mine today and all I can say is ..holy shit this thing is a beast . The Acceleration is insane I felt like I was on a rollercoaster

Finally a REAL review, that mentions the things that matter, and all the small design flaws and things to check. The 5 gear thing with a screen seems like too much fiddly bs, for something that can move so fast.

Mine has 400 miles, 0 wobble 0 mantienance. All scooters bolts become lose as some point. Should always randomly check them regardless of brand. That gold is fire, I got the red it's nice to.
On $2K+ scooter, everything should be close to perfect. I really agree you need to be very picky and contact the manufacturer asap.

Very informative review! I just got my King GT today and only rode it at night for a bit. Crazy fast and will get some getting used to. Couple of questions for you. What’s the upgraded handle bar are you using in this video? Stock one seems narrow and I wanna go wider. I like the look of yours. Also, the steering on my new King GT seems a bit heavy. Does it loosen up after a while? Last, the brakes work real well but they are touchy and almost too grabby. Hard to modulate… did you adjust yours at all? Thanks for the review!!

You should have done a drag race and acceleration test between this and the vsett 10+
Everyone else has said great things about it and me looking and looking at videos scooters to see which one I choose and I pick this one but hopefully it’s good for me

Congrats for the video. A kind question: In your opinion, are the handlebars too high for a 1.70 m person? I would need to know the height from the footboard to the steering knob to realize this.

I have this scooter with the stock handlebars. The handlebars just clear going in my trunk. If they were half an inch narrower it would make loading a lot easier. Are those aftermarket ones narrower, and will it make much of a difference for handling?

@@ScootaGang I love it I just got mine last week. I ride 20 miles each way from work let’s see how it holds up. I’m in FL and the cops have been pretty chill me riding on the road/bike lane. My max speed was 60.
Well, how the times have changed. I returned the KMKGT as I hated the regen brakes and the steering input tightness. I bought a Nami Klima and I love it. A much better choice IMO👊🔥
I rode the Klima last month also it’s definitely a step up from a mantis. I’ll have that review out soon here

I have both a mantis king GT and a mantis 10 elite and I love both of them, the folding stem is definitely better on the GT but the elite has at the moment my favorite pick up on power being a set of mini motors controllers and display but the battery is certainly lacking in that regard on the elite being an 18.2AH battery verses the king GT's 24.5AH battery, love both of them as they both have 10x3" wide street tyres on them but will have to put a few more miles on both of them to get a real answer as to what one is better out of the 2
Nice! I also just got a Mantis 10 Lite. It's really really nice and competitive in the $1200 price range. Comparing it with the Fluid Vista and Synergy Aviator that are equal price and it blows them away in ride quality and build imo
i just sold my emove cruiser (literally today LUL) and this mantis is my next intended upgrade and i didnt know u can get pmts on them so im finna do that when i get it now will pmts be worse or better in mild winter riding?
Please help, mantis king gt, wolf warrior x, klima ? I want it to mess around, cruise around and have fun. Especially want longevity.

Hey bro great video at the perfect time! I bought a V2 and had to return it, apparently it was a manufacturer flaw that caused the rim to pinch the inner tube. Got a V3 and rhe same thing happened.... I use/ want to use a scooter as my main transportation and ive been looking between mantis, vsett 10+ and maybe the new Kilma... Would love your opinion if you dont mind. Im going to be commuting like 15-25 miles a day and im a heavy rider at 230Llbs. Appreciate you brother
You had two faulty Apollo Phantoms? jeez sorry to hear that. My opinion is Vsett for ride quality and build quality, Mantis for aesthetics and looks. Depends what you value as the consumer.

yeah it was about 5-6 weeks from original purchase to now returning the V3. After 8km the first scooter had the issue and after hassling I got through to a really great customer service agent... Anyways I originally wanted my money back, and was convinced to send it a few hundred miles from Toronto to Montreal to have it repaired, when the scooter returned it was in worse condition. They didn't do a great job of packing it back to me. They offered me to pay the difference for and upgrade so I returned it again and got the V3. After taking it out to run some errands, the exact same problem happened. Customer service there has been fantastic from one person,shout-out to Shawn, the other people I've talked to have commonly made me feel worse about the issue . They did confirm the original issue was a manufacturer defect on the V2. I'm just wanting to get out in this weather.🤙

Just got the mantis gt you can set the speed for each gear as well as the power in the advanced menu password is 1500 cant figure how to turn off regen in dual motor mode though

My sister has a klima and it accelerates as fast as my daultron thunder 3. Does the mantis feel as fast as a nami klima ?

Hi sir 👋 Is it better to get the Mantis with off road tires or street tires? I usually ride my scooters on regular asphalt.
If possible get it with the PMT tires pre-installed from Wyrd Ryds is my advice. Those are the best tires and really give you the scooter's full potential on asphalt! If you aren't in the US, buy it with street tires and swap them to the PMTs as soon as you can afford it, #1 upgrade without a doubt.

My Mantis gt is set to 60 volt with low voltage at 48 volts. Should I change it to 72 volts with 54 volts for low voltage?

Vsett looks nice, I can't lie. Tell people the truth man. Vsett has the smallest deck , especially for that kinda speed. Come on man. I gotta apollo Ghost, and even I know mantis king gt is a better ride then the vsett. Cut the crap. Love your videos man but keep it 💯
One inch extra on the deck size you are correct about that much. It's not just my opinion though, I have had several people try both scooters it was unanimous. The vsett accelerates smoother, brakes smoother, smoother suspension. It has an extra inch on the length of it's wheelbase that makes it mores stable, holding all else equal.

Warrior X as I didn’t think the clamp would hold larger diameter 🤷🏻♀️. I would have much rather installed MTB bars as usual but it’s done now haha. Much love bro.

What is pmt
PMT is a brand of tires. They are made in Italy and are radials. Also with high quality rubber as opposed to stock scooter tires that are cheap and made of nylon.
