When our Black people began participating in the political process, that's when many believe Black communities faced significant challenges. Integration and other factors led to the decline of Black economies that thrived independently. Remembering the thriving Black economies before they were destroyed or disrupted, without relying on government assistance, is crucial. These communities built businesses from the ground up, without seeking grants or government aid. They understood their collective needs and took action as a community, independent of political affiliations. This history underscores the belief that relying less on government assistance and focusing on self-sufficiency could be beneficial. Many advocate for a return to such a self-reliant system, drawing parallels to the Exodus story, emphasizing the need for Black communities to "do for self" and follow the way of God, Elohim.

This is not law and order……
      This is EXTREMELY subjective.
If you provide identification during a traffic
stop, have a valid driver’s license, it is
NOT illegal but merely just a payable citation.
If the computer database is down,
as it does happen like with any computer system,
what’s to STOP an officer from SUBJECTIVE application
of this law and arrest a VALID driver. Guess Louisiana
will have to waive the administration fee for an state
      issued identification if they’re making
      identification mandatory.

@@percymirakles I NEVER stated that driving was not a privilege; This
I already know. I also know that routine IT maintenance
sometimes shut the computer database down. This is FACT.
I work in the field and there occasional instances when the computer
database is DOWN for a number of reasons. This happens
with Motor Vehicle Administration, NCIC , even a p9lice department’s
own database. That being said, I fear that subjective application
of this legislation will result in dubious arrests. Again, driving without
a license ( that is a person who never took driving test to obtain driving privileges)
IS an offense in which one may be arrested for BUT a licensed driver who inadvertently
drives without their license in their possession is a non-arrest
payable citation. A person such as this who calmly and clearly verbally articulates their
identity will be subject to arrest by a subjective application. Furthermore, if a person has NEVER
committed a crime, or held a job which required fingerprints, that person’s fingerprints WILL
not be on file ANYWHERE thus identity would still not be confirmed under this law. ALL drivers should,
but occasionally do not, have their driver’s license on their person when driving. Furthermore, an
out of state visitor who may be out for a morning run probably won’t have their identification
on their person while running; Most likely will have just their hotel room card key.

Let’s not complain about what’s happening in Louisiana until we discuss black voting in Louisiana. Louisiana recently allowed a Republican to be elected governor. Why because black people in Louisiana are not taking voting seriously. We have to stop complaining about what these people are doing to us after we hand them power. We have a serious issue in the United States right now with Black voters. Mississippi has the largest number of black Americans, and yet white republicans run the whole state. Why because black voters in Mississippi don’t care about voting. If this is the same issue national wide come November, black Americans are in serious trouble, and I mean life and D type of trouble. If we refuse to show up BIG in November like we did in 2016, allowing that Monster to be elected, and we do the same this year and allow this Monster to be re-elected. The Voting Rights Act and civil rights act will be overturned by the end of 2025. That is exactly what this Supreme Court will do. Most don’t even know affirmative action was overturned 2 years ago. Most don’t know the Voting Rights Act was gutted in 2014. If we continue to not care, the other side will have us all back in chains and worse.

I don’t wholly disagree, but your complaint lacks an understanding in the systemic corruption, to include gerrymandering & voter suppression, economic deprivation, as well as gross & flagrant disregard for human rights and protections, to say nothing of multitudes of lost lives, that has plagued Louisiana since its inception.

    • @madboyreadynow28
      @madboyreadynow28 Před měsícem +6

@triciah477 No, all excuses and those are rejected. We are in 2024, not 1924. I am a Black man who grew up in the projects raised on welfare by a simple teen mother who was not educated. I vote in all my local, state, and federal elections. I am well educated on all the candidates and items being voted on. I do not accept excuses for why black people do not show up to vote in their local, state, and federal elections. Gerrymandering has nothing to you with black people registering to vote and showing up to vote. It's hard to disagree with what I wrote because the facts prove what I said is accurate. How else do black people in Mississippi get so far behind? Because they do not show up to vote in large numbers in their local and state elections. As a result and they conceded all power to white Mississippians. If we do not show up this November in all local, state, and federal elections. By 2026, we all can be in a very bad situation in this country.
