You stand correct. To me Duncan was ready to go Sophomore year as a lottery pick and decided to stay all 4 years, you don't see it as often. I'll do it in reverse 1974-1996 where players didn't leave college. Starting in 1974 you have Bill Walton, Bobby Jones, Jamal Wilkes, David Thompson, Robert Parish, Alex English, Dennis Johnson, Jack Sikma, Larry Bird, Maurice Cheeks, Sidney Moncrief, Kevin McHale, John Stockton, Patrick Ewing, Chris Mullin, Joe Dumars, David Robinson, Scottie Pippen, Reggie Miller, Mitch Richmond, Gary Payton, Dikembe Mutombo, Alonzo Mourning and Grant Hill. I picked out Hall of Famers from that 22 year Window. My point its far and few between you see players stay till their senior years and have a successful career or Hall of Fame career. Also glad players leave early to get their money. If you noticed I said One of the last 4 year stars in College, not the last.

    where does this kind of video come from..

    • @joncoda365
      @joncoda365 Před 3 lety +1

      Well, there was digital video recording back in the 1990s, we didn't have cloud memory and most computers couldn't hold much video, so we used various storage devices, like DVD, and digital tape. We take those storage mediums, convert them to the desired format, edit it, and download it to CZcams.
      My next lesson is where do babies come from.

    I genuinely thought Camby at UMass was better big than Duncan at Wake Forest... way more explosive around the rim, a better team defender... it's just Camby's athleticism for his build may have contributed to his injury problems so he was nothing more than a rim protector who can rebound a bit in the NBA.
    Duncan never changed the way he played and made the right decision playing his senior year (based on his junior year, he probably would have been picked around the 3rd-7th pick in '96) when then-GM Popovich fired Bob Hill and made himself coach so that he can tank the '97 season hoping to get Duncan.
