It’s so weird to see Tim run so fast and able to jump higher than a shoebox, haven’t seen him play like that since 2006 lol
lol true. Imagine if Timmy was never torn his left lateral meniscus in 2000. He would dunk more than he had lol
Massive props to him, he was able to adapt as his athletisism diminished
07 suns got robbed
And still dominated
@@lorenzodawkins7500 who’s saying he wasn’t?
All 4 yrs of college and still went #1 BEASTMODE
It was a pleasure watching Tim Duncan play at Wake Forest I was in the sixth grade and I begged my parents to get me a Tim Duncan Wake Forest Jersey from the Eastbay magazine 😂
This kid looks like a beast, I hope he does well in the NBA
WildDanHibiki I don’t know about his playing career, but he seems intelligent- he’s probably gonna coach

Such an over used comment.. smh 🤦♂️
Bro you should be more original
copy/paste comment..
Why do these videos have better quality than the NBA videos of 99-03 when Duncan played with the Spurs?
These are remastered the nba refuses to remaster and catalogue old content, its mindblowing.
@@jonisafreak3 why nba won't remaster video?
@@beebopoped4720 because to remaster old video it takes a lot of time and money they have to go through old footage and restore it piece by piece, thousands of footage. I wish the nfl and nba would do what WWE has done which is make a streaming platform for all the old footage that people can pay 10 to 15 bucks a month for. NBA and NFL are sitting on free cash but they refuse to do it.
The real answer is because the early to mid 90s was recorded on film while the early 00s NBA was digital.
"And Duncan is a guy who can force Pop to change his religion!" I know it's long time due, but this guy needs a raise.
Tim Duncan turned 18. After that, he didn't age a day.
Timmy was an nba veteran in highschool
Retired from basketball with practically the same build..
Best post Jordan era resume....
I didn't start really watching Basketball until 2004-05 season but Tim Duncan was my favorite Power Forward when he played. Never saw him in college.
The greatest power forward of all time.
He's a center in these highlights
@@st4r444 we all know Mr fundamental was a power forward and a top 20 player of all time
@@Lkom24 top 10
@@petileugenio2414 everyone has an opinion
11:17...He is genius...Seriously...
he absolutely was ready to go after his sophomore year. forgot how well he could move.
The full KU-WF game is on CZcams. Even as a freshman, against two future NBA seven footers, he was clearly the best player on the court.
Pure greatness
One of my Favorite NBA player, humble and yet super talented, belongs to the NBA ELITE,probably the Best PowerForward of All Time...
Wake forest duncan : *Dunks* ''AAAHHHH!!!''
Spurs tim duncan : *Dunks* '' ''
Already a gifted shotblocker, these highlights are superb, even better is the 1080p quality! Many thx!
Glad you like them!
Best PF ever!!!
My fave player ever and imo top 5 ever...I miss him playing.
One of the best 7 footers of all time.
Absolute technician, don't know if I've ever seen these highlights but it highlights his athleticism at that point, his game jumps off the screen anybody with two eyes could tell he was going to be an all-time great just by watching these few plays.
This kid will become a multi champion and HOF. Mark my words.Posted in 1999 edited in 2020.
And win like 5 chips
Holy smoke. You must be from future you were right
Do you know what happens in the last episode of friends? Who will be pres of 2000? What happens to k-mart store?
This kid can play. He will be a perfect fit to play with Admiral
And a short French guy
Wish the celtics won the lottery.
@@coltmills8585 and the 6'6 Argentinean
He could have left after his sophomore year and been the number 1 pick but his mom made him promise to go to college and get his degree on her death bed. Too bad she couldn't see what he would become after college
greatest power forward of all time
Winner in college, winner in NBA. Winning runs in his veins
Let’s bring light to the fact that Tim Duncan actually caught that unorthodox Bounce pass, i feel like a big man today would have fumbled it.....
So he played 3 years in college and almost 20 years in the nba. Thats longevity
4
I remember i created him in NBA Action 95’ (I think) for Sega Genesis and put him on the Celtics. For the season he was 27/14/3/5. Good times.
Didn't know you can create players back then lol
If he keeps playing like this Duncan may be in the HOF.
And the greatest PF of alltime.
And a top 10 player of all time
My favorite PF of All-time!!
Old Man River Walk 👏👏👏
One of the last 4 year stars in College.
Not at a all. There was definitely more 4 year guys after him
@@TheIcemanthomas Maybe Andre Miller, Jason Terry, David West, Josh Howard, Kyle Korver, Jameer Nelson, Danny Granger, David Lee, JJ Redick, Brandon Roy, Roy Hibbert, Danny Green, Jimmy Butler, and Draymond Green were players drafted who were drafted years after Tim Duncan who stayed all 4 years. You stand correct. To me Duncan was ready to go Sophomore year as a lottery pick and decided to stay all 4 years, you don't see it as often. I'll do it in reverse 1974-1996 where players didn't leave college. Starting in 1974 you have Bill Walton, Bobby Jones, Jamal Wilkes, David Thompson, Robert Parish, Alex English, Dennis Johnson, Jack Sikma, Larry Bird, Maurice Cheeks, Sidney Moncrief, Kevin McHale, John Stockton, Patrick Ewing, Chris Mullin, Joe Dumars, David Robinson, Scottie Pippen, Reggie Miller, Mitch Richmond, Gary Payton, Dikembe Mutombo, Alonzo Mourning and Grant Hill. I picked out Hall of Famers from that 22 year Window. My point its far and few between you see players stay till their senior years and have a successful career or Hall of Fame career. Also glad players leave early to get their money. If you noticed I said One of the last 4 year stars in College, not the last.
AVC IV but he isn’t one of the last. That’s the point.
@@TheIcemanthomas You silly man I said that he was one of the last. Didn't say he was the last. Can't take you serious if you're a Chris Paul fan 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The Bank boy!!!
This guy is definitely in top 5 ever do it and TOP PF ever do it. ☝️☝️
I loved watching him in college.
Light work
Projected n° 1 as a junior.
Literal power forward.. Earning all his points inside the paint.. Nowadays powerforwards and centers go to gym, build huge muscles and then what? Shoot three pointers.. Haha funny NBA today
I still feel pf in the 90s were just smaller centers with more range
Actually he was playing center here but okay.
Yea i agree wit u tim was a true power forward
Great words from Duncans mother definitely live by those word thru his career and life
He’s up there with Ewing, Walton, Manning, Thompson, Kaminsky, etc. Unreal college career.
Def gonna be a bust. He has no ourtside shot and can't guard the perimeter well
100% David Robinson is way better than him they don’t need another center
David just got injured and the spurs are terrible I
Think they should go for him
This Duncan kid just won Rookie of the year but I wanna see a championship in the near future.
@@michaeldiaz6006 You can't build a team around a mime. Boy doesn't talk, zero leadership. He's gonna be a Sam Bowie
@@michaeldiaz6006 that guy is a boring bum
He was doing this in the ACC...GOAT
3:37 Tim Duncan Diesel Impression lol
to say the least he is the best PF. simple is best means him.
Highlights are crazy block party
Timmy was so ready for the league no wonder he dominated out the gate
The greatest big man of ALL TIME in my opinion if you look at his resume, he eliminated more superstars from the playoffs than any other player
I can’t take Tim over Shaq, Hakeem or Kareem
@@thenotoriousfinesser2907I hear you fam but Tim Duncan was different in the playoffs & faced better competition then everyone else not to mention he was an all around better defender than all of them The Dream was a better shot blocker but players were inconsistent in the players when guarded by prime Duncan
@@thenotoriousfinesser2907 Kareem> Wilt > Bill >Duncan >
The defense of big fundamental was incredible I don't understand why he didn't win a DPOY
If i build a team around one player I'll take Tim over any big man ever.. His demeanor and work ethic greatly compliment any other player either a superstar or a role player..
I'm glad he was drafted by Spurs and finished his career with Spurs ! Brought 5 chips home !!😁👍
Duncan was the man
Amazing
GOAT PF and its not even close
He might not have the range of Dirk and KG, the strength of Malone or Barkley but he has more rings and FMVPs than all of them put together.
He also has really good defense
Also much better post footwork than all of them (though Barkley had some moves & Garnett had a nice jump hook/turnaround). Best passer of the bunch too, & the only PF other than Barkley & KG to play PG on the fast break at times. He was versatile. I also think he had the same range as KG, just chose to play to his strengths in the paint.
@@darshloafhe wasnt a better passer than KG bro
Sonny Alvarado (at 6:25) would later play as a "Fil-sham" player in the PBA for the Tanduay team...
Love.
Looks good, hope he can make up for the awful season we had. Welcome to the Celtics!!!
I see top 10 all time potential in this kid
Duncan let his game do the talking for him.
Can you do a Draymond Green tournament highlights? Remember that he went to back to back Final Fours.
J 2 Did you even watch his college years? Or are you just going off his reputation in the NBA?
Thanks for the request. We'll look into this one.
Hey Scotty! We just published the Draymond Green NCAA tournament highlights. Hope you enjoy: czcams.com/video/6FRoKWqIwys/video.html
March Madness You’re Awesome! Thank You!
TIMMAY!
9:20 I thought that was Dirk he was shooting over at first glance lol
Imagine if he declared after his freshman year
he probably doesnt pan out in the NBA then..he is proof that staying in school for more than a season CAN actually help your NBA career..
carsonc29 he probably would be just as great. If I’m not mistaken wasn’t a big reason for him staying all four years because of his mother?
@@JeffersonSteelflexx he might have been a bust..the NBA was a tougher league back then..he also landed in the perfect situation in San Antonio..much of a players success stems from where they go
@@JeffersonSteelflexx yes his mom's dying wish was for him to finish college.
@carsonc29 a bust? Are you serious lol.. if you have it in your DNA to be great you will be. He might not have gotten rookie of the year like he did in 98 but he still would have developed into a great player no doubt
He use to choke against the blue devils him and Childress always let me down but he top top 5 PFs all time
just imagine "Tim Duncan" and "highlights" in one statement
I can. I’m watching them. Only casuals don’t like watching timmy
Duncan is proof that college stars dont have to leave after their freshmen seasons in order to be good in the NBA and is proof that staying doesnt hurt your development...
It’s also players who stayed and didn’t cut it in the NBA.
@@dallashanson_ this is true as well..but I am against the concept that staying hurts your development.....before 2003, most star HS guys went to college and they stayed multiple years..IMO, the league was a lot better when guys came into the NBA with a couple years of college..
Jordan started all 4 years as well. A lot of them did in the 80's and early 90's.
It all changed when people saw how good Kobe and KG were coming out of High School
@@WildDanHibiki not really....the HS to NBA phase didnt really catch on till 2000..by then they were both stars..but there was also alot a duds...IMO, the reason why they put in the OAD rule is because too many HS kids were going pro...kids that had no business being in the NBA at 18...Kobe and Kevin were exceptional in HS..its rare you see a kid that age who is fully ready
@@WildDanHibiki jordan played 3 seasons for unc
Wake Forest hasnt made an Elite 8 since Tim Duncan was there
Tim Duncan in college plays like guys at you’re local rec center in 2023.
The Big, Quiet, Fundamental! Should have 6 rings
Looks good .. did he make it to the NBA ?
This young Big man will win Nba Championship
Jordan would have five rings had Duncan came out earlier
The Spurs wouldnt have gotten him they woulda been too good, only reason they got him in 97 is because DRob was hurt 96-97
Always saw Tim old.
BIG FUNDAMENTALS!!!!!!!!!!!
They say Tim Duncan hasn't said a single word to anybody except I'ma fucc u up
where does this kind of video come from..
Well, there was digital video recording back in the 1990s, we didn't have cloud memory and most computers couldn't hold much video, so we used various storage devices, like DVD, and digital tape. We take those storage mediums, convert them to the desired format, edit it, and download it to CZcams.
My next lesson is where do babies come from.
imagine he just starts playing basketball at the age of 14. wow
Big man style of play is so different nowadays.
Well they have to be different. The game has changed. Either u evolve or get lost in the shuffle. Look at Roy Hibbert, Andre Drummond, etc. big bruising guys don’t get it done anymore.
ngl timmy look like wemby😂
He was Kareem after kareem👏👏
My sentiments exactly!!!
Game is like Cap's minus the sky hook!!
He’s a 611 Kareem
Tim Duncan's is an all American
‘96 would of been more deep if he declared early
He would have 1, then ai
This proves that the rumor of the spurs giving duncan a predraft private workout playing 1v1 against DROB and destroying him is probably true...
Evan Mobley 🤔
I was thinking the same thing. Both have extremely high basketball IQs.
Mobley looking like Timmy in the NBA too!!!! We called it
@@neilsmith9066 Love it bro!!! Could see it from Day 1!
sure... but can he shoot 3s and provide spacing? :P
14 rebound a game 😂
I want to know why he can force a pope to change his religion. I don't get it
Let it go, man.
I know you prob don’t care anymore lol but he changes shots around the rim. He makes the offensive player change his original shot form and comfortability.

Duncan can force a Pope to change his religion, but he choose not to dunk much in the Nba.
I have a feeling that this guy is not going to help any team win more than one championship.
Duncan had to play with a bunch of stooges
Unicorn 🦄
I genuinely thought Camby at UMass was better big than Duncan at Wake Forest... way more explosive around the rim, a better team defender... it's just Camby's athleticism for his build may have contributed to his injury problems so he was nothing more than a rim protector who can rebound a bit in the NBA.
Duncan never changed the way he played and made the right decision playing his senior year (based on his junior year, he probably would have been picked around the 3rd-7th pick in '96) when then-GM Popovich fired Bob Hill and made himself coach so that he can tank the '97 season hoping to get Duncan.
Around 1995, he's already top 1 prospect
