Locking you out of the one safe place in the ward/residential environment when you feel uncertain/vulnerable is unacceptable. Good on you for being so resilient. And good luck with your CZcams career. Look forward and do what makes you happy!

    Such great advice.
The bit that sticks out the most to me is the part about the entire industry rushing a lot and how it’s important to take time and really think. It can be difficult to pull yourself out of that rushing around mindset.
    Thank you very much!

Great vid! I'm interested in becoming a Forensic psychologist but I really want to be smart about it and gain experiences in the right places. Like you said, not rushing my career.

this vid was really helpful, tysm! just wanted to ask, how did you get the job as a mental health worker in a hospital setting? were there any job requirements you needed after your undergrad degree?

Hey, thanks for your comment. We love answering your questions. Support/healthcare worker /nursing assistant roles are usually in high demand, and so are a great role to apply for during or after your undergraduate degree. Your degree will bring great experience to the role and the role will give you good clinical experience for future job roles.

Hi, sorry this is a bit off topic! But I am wanting to enter into a trainee psychological well-being practitioner programme and am wondering if experience as a support worker (for the YMCA centre) is sufficient, or if I need to be a support worker in a mental health setting. Thanks!😊

Could I still become a forensic psychologist with a criminology bachelors and a forensic psychology Masters? Also with counselling and prison work experience in addition to the degrees?

You have to have a bps accredited undergraduate degree in psychology.

Hey, thanks for your comment. We love answering your questions. To be able to do forensic psychology, you will need to complete a forensic psychology doctorate after your masters. It sounds like you have some great experience so far!
