It was an off axis double twisting double gainer pretty much. And they can't see that with slow motion? They don't watch gymnastics or diving much or even trampoline videos.

Charles Made It The judges judge on the difficulty of the tricks being done, how long you’re in the air, how you close out, and the size of the splash. There’s a surprising amount of technique that goes into this sport. Cause you know, if you do it wrong you could probably die

So a few things:
1) I guess "The Ocho" from Dodgeball is real now. Ok.
2) From what I've gathered here the objective is to have the most painful landing after flailing in the air.
3) Norwegians need basketball more than we do.
Day 74 of quarentine: with no sports bring complications, I have started watching a new sport; death diving. I have also now decided to practice death diving on the bean bags in my basement.
No sports....this is what it's come to for me.....LOVING IT 😂😂👌🏾

@@thn02 How did he mess up the landing? Never seen this sport, so to me it looked like the most impressive and clean jump... Im ignorant though so if i could get an explanation thatd help haha
@@Repavich So he under-rotated which made his feet break the water way to early and that didn't allow him to close properly, in this sport you're supposed to land a close as possible to a belly flop, but close your arms and legs before you hit the water. But even tho he messed up the landing that jump is incredibly impressive

Form, Originality, and Splash Size
Apparently, this is just the freestyle part. They have a classic style where they have to fly horizontally with their arms and legs extended in an X-formation until they hit the water.
it does not have to be an x formation, just no spinning or flips, and its mostly judged of style, lenght of the jump, landing and splash. And this is the world final so they can choose if they want to do freestyle or classic, but most choose freestyle because its an added layer of diffuclty that can be judged.
So ive been doing this on accident when this was really a sport?
