My first ipod was this exact same model. I still remember the day I bought it too. I was a high school student working as a cart pusher for wal-mart and bought it off a guy that worked in supply. I remember the guy opening the trunk to his Honda civic and pulling out the brand new Nano while also revealing a stash of other brand new stuff (such as xbox 360's). My dude only wanted $60 for the ipod, which was a deal I took considering how much they went for brand new at the time. Not sure if the guy ever got caught, but man I'll tell you what. That wal-mart was getting skinned alive by all their employees behind the scenes. Anyway, thanks for the trip down memory lane.

This video made me dig out my old iPod nano my dad used to lend me when we went on road trips, the battery dies almost instantly if not plugged in, but it still works and the exact playlist I used to listen to all the time is still there. It feels so nostalgic
Make sure to see about replacing the battery if it doesn’t suffer from the black spot :D

We used to have both the white and the black iPod nano when they first came out. I remember me and my siblings were given one for Christmas and honestly for the first time in our lives it was the coolest little technology we have ever seen the fact is how tiny and thin it was for what it could do. It was great memories!

I remember getting one of these Nanos from my parents for a birthday gift and it was one of my favorite things ever as a autistic child, used it every day for a few years till one time I was traveling and it was stolen from me, as I was away from my backpack for like a minute. I have thought about getting another one, still my favorite looking ipod, but they don't seem that easy to keep going
lpod nanos are really painful to mod and repair, gen 5 and gen 4 ipods are quite easy and ipod minis are the cheapest option that isnt pure pain to fix. Dankpods made a good video called "the cheapest ipod to modify". Check that out if you'd like

5:18 "Windows" formatted iPods work with both Windows and OS X. "Macintosh" formatting only works with OS X. Seems like the safe choice to make if you have to pick one at the factory.

I just bought a new one of these on an auction site! Its not sealed, but the Nano is still wrapped in plastic and the box looks mint. Got that and two 5th gen classics for only $45
I remember bringing my new ipod touch with me to middle school. We used to hangout in the gym at lunchtime. Let one of the boys check it out. He goes “wow no scratches on the back yet” then proceeds to place it on the very textured bleachers and slide it around. He lifts it up revealing his work. A mess of scratches to the back plate. Still hurts my soul deep down lmao. Such ruthlessness.

People basically just wore them to tell everyone they walked by "I have an iPod"
I have a mildly deformed right ear and both make it hurt ubearably after 10 minutes.
I actually got an 1st gen iPod nano from one of my elders recetly (as of writing).
It actually feel pretty nice to use one and it’s still in quite good shape with just some minor scratches.
Let’s be honest, the best part of each video is frank at the end, because, frankly, he’s quite cute
