How easy is the reset? I want to have this for a convention center booth
@@briandale3649 Reset is instant. Just cannot do it while specs are staring at your hands. But it takes less than 5 seconds to reset

Yeah, I really wanted this to work, but after years as an amateur magician, I could never get my Raven not to make a noticeable "THWACK!" sound along with visible motion in my sleeve making it obvious what just happened. One of many reasons I keep to mentalism, lol.
Very Visual with this gimmick it’s cool what you can do appearing to disappearing object totally the correct angle is a must…
Thank you for doing a review on it! Wondering if it still holds up, but it still looks like a cool tool to use. The resson I havent bought it, is that I usually wear more tighter clothes and I think that will be an issue.
As long as you wear some sort of jacket it will be fine. If you wear just a T-shirt then it wont work

Hey Michael , I had one of the original Ravens and stopped using it cuz the vanish made an audible noise… Is this gimmick any better with that
The tutorial talks alot about noise control. Not sure how the gimmick itself compares to the older version. The type of material your clothes are made out of does matter too as far as noise reduction. Just in playing with it i can say it does require your care so not to make too much noise. But if done outside or in a restaurant noone will hear it :)

How loose do your sleeves need to be?

A short sleeve one no. A long sleeve one (maybe) depending on how loose the sleeves are. I would not recommend using a polo shirt to perform this. Unless you plan to wear a blazer over it. :)

i am looking to buy one from a local magic shop website and i gotta say this review really helps with understanding this gimmicks limitations ....the problem is i dont know if its actually worth it for me personally as i usually only do card magic ... getting any sort of magic props in my country is extremely hard and the fact that i found the raven really amazes me.. the problem is that its 50% more expensive than an oppo enco buds ... or i can say its around 3 weeks of normal spending ....... the thing i want to ask about is what does it come with exactly ..... i know it comes with a special coin but does it come with anything to make other non special objects special? (thats what i heard from other sources but am not sure if its true)

i notice no sound when they do trailers for this...i got one years ago..never use it..
It does make some noise if you let it snap back. They teach how to make it quieter in the tutorial but it is by no means “silent.”
