My 600 Hornet has done 78,000 miles in all weathers, all year round and still pulls like train and never misses a beat, I bought it originally has a winter "hack" bike to run into the ground.....but it just keeps going, gota love Honda's reliability.

For the folks complaining about the dash buzzing, here's how I fixed it ( mine's a 2010 ). The buzzing noise actually comes from where the 2 plastic parts of the dash join. You need to take off the bottom part ( a few bolts from on the bottom, Philips head screws) and wrap the lip of the bottom part with felt or something similar ( I used duct tape). That's all. The noise should go away.

I have this exact bike, in this exact color, Got it as my first bike after passing my direct access & i find it to be a great bike, it isn't a snatchy wheelie monster like some some bikes can be lower down, especially the more street oriented bikes of this power range. Plus it has enough to humble (at least me) up the top end

It's my beginner bike and I think that's a great all-rounder. I use it 80% for commuting and 20% for longer trips. That 600 engine is perfect - low torque figures under 6000 rpm, powerful enough over 8000 rpm. I took it to off-road, twisties, highways and I think it did it's job everywhere, but impressed me the most in the corners. After 12000 km in one year, I can't imagine a better bike for my needs. About 30% of my commutes was with a passenger, and it's very competent for the job. While touring with passenger, it does the job, but you have to rev it harder, since you need more torque to move the extra-mass.

Don't do it, it is that simple. Look into the turn and try and make it, if you fixate you will hit it. The only thing that can help with that is knowing about it and experience. The most common way it will happen is going faster than your skill level.
