Just the first thirty seconds brought back a rush of memories and emotions from my childhood! I'm sorry for, what probably seems like, over-reacting but these were Such Golden Times to me! God Bless You for showing these!!!
I cannot understand why ABC CBS NBC, don't bring these back exactly as they were even with the original ads. I can guarantee they would slaughter the rating if they did a one night a week return to 1970. Well bless CZcams for at least letting us get a few memories
blankets spread out on the carpet in front the tv . a big green Tupperware bowl of popcorn . mom and dad on the couch . lights off , and the tv movie on .
Each night ABC presents a James Bond film, the first thing you hear is a gravelly voiced announcer; "Tonight's feature contains scenes which maybe unsuitable for children. Parental discretion is advised".
Today you couldn't pull stuff off like this, because there aren't enough competent young actors to do roles like this on TV. ABC puts more stock in The Bachelor, showing game shows at night, and endless mindless reality shows. Even the late night talk shows are all garbage. Carson and Letterman will never be duplicated in popularity. There's no creativity in tv anymore. These types of entertainment will never come back.
I do remember that promo for the TV movie "But I Don't Want to Get Married". Seeing it now I can't help but think " Seriously? People were expected to think women who look like Tina Louise and Shirley Jones would want to marry a man who looked like Herschel Bernardi? 😂
That first movie intro music in the beginning really stands out to me from the past. I think it comes from a song Burt Bacharach wrote called "Nikki". The memories. :)

Burt Bacharach wrote Nikki, this song used for the ABC MOWs, but was named after His daughter who had Autism. Angie Dickinson was her Mother.
Back when ABC used to get all of the biggest movies on Sunday nights!

Back when tv actually had something good to watch and a family gathered together and watched✌️
Shows how polished and classy things used to be back in the day IMHO. There used to be some quality standards for production.

Damn! I really enjoyed that. ABC movie promos have such a warm look and sound. The songs are truly amazing.
Thanks for posting this, CZcams is the next best thing to a time machine.

Burt Bacharach. You can never have too much.
Those movies of the week were awsome those times are gone and it's truely sad
Great intros. I remember a lot of these lost gems. The best character actors ever. Thanks.
