Practical Application of Colour Psychology and Theory

- Colour psychology is fun in theory but, how to use it in practice can be a bit tricky. So, here we go through three things to help you understand colour theory better. First is why Ultramarines seem like such boy scouts, a lot of it has to do with their colour psychology. Second is the ubiquitous red, white and blue colour combination, showing how it can be used in all six different ways and how its psychology changes with each. Finally, we go over why Purple and Green seem so villainous. Then we have a short plea at the end.

Initially the poster boys were the crimson fists for 2nd and rouge trader. Black templars took it at the start of third but the box photos have been ultra marines since third.
I can't remember if we mention since when in this one some of the times we do quite a few takes. But yeah you can't fit everything in. How did you like the video?

It's really awesome that the Night Lords have the same colour scheme as the Ultras, but with darker tones. Now I understand that they represent the fallen version of the heroes that Ultramarines
are.
In their origins they came from the Night Hunter, the identity of primarch Curze in Nostramo who was obsessed with justice and erasing crime. But because he used the most brutal methods to reach his goals he ended turning himself into a twisted kind of vigilante.

These videos are great! I’m about to start painting this weekend, at 40 years old for the first time since I was 10. Just getting a terminator squad and going to go from there. I was thinking about making a successor chapter but may just go for standard Ultramarines for ease. But these are very resourceful videos

I wish there was an app or something where you could pick a primary, secondary and accent color, then get the list of traits the combination embodies.

So we are hoping to do a live stream next week and go over our plans... Currently we are recording in our place which is a tin roof and after the council cut down a lot of trees sound from outside is our primary problem...
So we will have to invest into making a recording area... the only problem with that is we aren't well off at the moment so we are going to try and put money aside for it. We are working on it so yeah... I know I have to work on it. Sorry 😔
