Standing Order, Irongate Derby is a Wetherspoons, just down from the cathedral.👍 Not been in the other one on Babbington lane (Babbington Arms) for ages.
Showman Wetherspoons Bloxwich Walsall, train from Rugeley Trent Valley to Bloxwich station (3 minutes walk) and Walsall spoons is also on same train a bit further, one stop
We visited Lichfield Wetherspoons last week for lunch. I had a chicken wrap. Hubby had a new chicken fillet burger. We could not fault the service or staff.

You should definitely round off the spoons series with a video of you trying out a weatherspoons hotel... I've seen quite a few videos of people reviewing them and they dont look too bad
I really like the buttermilk fried chicken vurger from spoons its always hits the spot for me
You should also try the chicken wings and chicken strips both are really nice... we usually get them on the three small plates offer with chips being the third plate..
The spoons in new street station is great you should give it a go

Something tells me it depends on the chef. Event though all the food is generally sourced from the same places. Obviously some chefs just cant be bothered to put out decent food.

Enjoy Derby, they closed The Thomas Leaper but then extended The Standing Order which is very nice. Chicken Jalfrezi my go to spoons curry 😀

I'm also cracked up that people on here think that they actually employ Chefs ! 😂 It'll be a boy or girl on minimum wage who knows how to work a microwave.

Wetherspoons in Fort William is brilliant mate. Make it a weekend trip.
Derbys wetherspoons is nice too. There is two . One called the Standing order i thought was the best. Its an old bank i believe in a nice part of the city. Bit further up the road is the Dolphin pub my old local.
i've been to these. Yes Fort William is nice but a bit grey inside.

Can't see the point, all Wetherspoons meals are made bespoke by the same company, delivered frozen and then heated up in the microwave. There's not going to be any difference whether you had the same meal in Yorkshire or Cornwall! Nobody goes to spoons for the food anyway, its for the cheap beer.

Wetherspoons curries are all the same. They are frozen and microwaved. No difference where you go. 🤷♀️
