Hey sweetie I really admire your the house everything about it is great just awesome but that control for the water, there's a thing they sell in the electrical store called the wire channel, the electrician should be able to put it on the wall to kinda hide the wire or relocate the entire switch to a little pantry or a laundry room if there's one in the house, so that wire channel is used for surface wiring like that so just talk to your electrician, I'm an electrician but I'm not in Liberia, I really admire you and your husband and thanks taking us through your house 😉

You could just have a carpenter build an access cabinet around your water pump control because a picture won’t work. It sticks out from the wall. First time watching your channel by the way. All the best to you and your family in your new home!

How did you connect your US appliances which are 110-120 volts to the Liberian electricity which is 220 voltage?

The electrician wire our home to support both 110-120 volts and 220 volts. We have a universal stabilize to convert the current to 110-120 for all our 110-120 outlets

@@lincolnforrer1050 thanks, yes the appliances here are expensive for no reason and most of them do not last. The only appliance from the US that did not work for me was my laundry dryer. I am not sure why it wouldn’t turn on.

@@journeywithjoy92 maybe the electrician didn't wired it correctly. I flipped homes for about 3 years and I installed the outlets for those. There should be at least 3 wires inside the outlet for the dryer. Also did you buy the dryer outlet and wire here in the US? I can help your electrician with that through a video call if you like.
