- čas přidán 9. 02. 2022
- Welcome to a fast-paced, wrench action-packed video on the glorious BMW M70 V12 engine that resides in this 1988 E32 750iL. Our mission is to make this engine look and work as good as it did on the day it left the factory. We attack the top end: intake manifold gaskets, banjo bolts, valve stem seals, valley pan gasket and complete cooling system while cleaning and refurbishing everything along the way.

One thing I love with you Sreten(there are several) is just how thorough you are with every step. Making sure everything is done once and done perfectly. It was also good seeing the previous work you had done but also where you have come from to the workshop you have now, over the last year.
You have worked hard for this and for that I commend you. Fantastic.
Thank you, Craig! I really don't like doing same job twice 😁
Yeah, it's like I know he is a Serb, but damn he sure works like a German!
@@M539Restorations I do as well but I never learn. 🤣
@@M539Restorations except when it's an e30🙈🙈
That is the German way. Do it once, do it perfectly!!
When you see this videos you realize how important is to do "some" of this things by yourself, because Mecanics don´t do and will never do this as good and detailed as this.... this is art... and you Sreten, you are an artist...
100% correct. And you know why? There is no substitute for passion.
If a mechanic would work this detailed custumor would be paying a big bill
@@duncandonovan5270 there are great mechanics out there of course but there are also many shitty mechanics. Everyone can't do this job by themselves, this is very hard, also the rod bearing episode on the e60 m5, that is a very hard job to do by yourself if you aren't comfortable and have zero talent and skills and also patience to do these types of jobs. That's the tricky part. Like in the rod bearing episode Sreten used a butt ton of gloves and towels to keep things clean and organised and i don't really think anybody has the patience for that much attention to detail. It's amazing we have Sreten do these videos so much in detail.
He's like Brahms with a 10mm socket ;)
Absolutely agree with this!
He is a real Wizard!
This is the best BMW mechanic in the world, simply amazing. Imagine buying a car from him.. Superb videos.
I think Streten already mentioned previously that will not sell any of the fixed cars because he fix these cars for himself and he only show the correct way to be cleaned & fixed..
@@poplaurentiu4148 He sells them all the time
I want to buy his e60 m5 but unfortunately, he won’t sell. Everyone has a price though 😈
Your video’s are just like a therapy, especially after a loong day of work! Keep up an excellent work Streten!!!
I got desperate when I heard "... this is where we are gonna park this episode"! I was enjoying so much that I had no idea 50 minutes were already gone!
"Just a bit cleaner" -proceeds to make the engine bay as clean as it left BMW... 😂😂
Even cleaner without much of the wax protectant. Better keep em clean and dry!
Actually it will be cleaner, without the wax he mentioned….
The wax clearly did an important job. The fact the engine bay looks almost as good as new is testament to the wax protection.
Do you realise how much we anticipate your videos? How we check day after day after day as to when your next video is being released? and then... ahhhh.... new content... almost like Christmas morning.
"Normally we have 3 issues" 4 fingers spring up. Love the content Stefan.
Woooohoooo! This week just got a whole lot better🥳🎉 Nearly an hour of video gold👍
Hell yea!!
Right I been waiting for next video
Video gold indeed.
I started the video when the likes were at 5k, at the end I clicked like and refreshed the page ... the likes were at 6,6K!! You deserve every like you get and more for these awesome videos. It is highly unlikely I will ever buy a BMW again, but I will remember my E32 and E39 forever. Oh wait, I still ride an R1200S; the ultimate Sports Boxer. :-)
Hilarious, after submitting the comment the likes were at 6,7K...
Just "found" your channel for about a month ago - and have now watched every single video. I am amazed about the quality of your videos and can't even imagine how much work you put into making each video. MUCH appreciated!! These videos are pure therapy. THANKS!! and keep up the good work.
I cannot believe how amazing those parts look after being cleaned ... amazing work !!! 😁
Eyegasm
Loads of microfiber towels. And steam and brake cleaner and elbow grease. Loads of elbow grease.
''We have zero spill policy in this shop, except when we dont'' 😂😂
😂😂😂
The dedication and taking the time to get everything up to your standard is just fascinating to watch. I admire your dedication to the cause Sreten!
I will forever miss these old cars and engines. The future seems odd to me.
That's not mechanics, it's precise motor surgery. You always amaze me, keep it up!
Yes.. but this is how all mechanics should do but then the bills that are already high would be even higher since this is like fixing & closer to factory brand new spec..
A bottle of beer and an hour-long video on my favorite channel. A perfect evening recipe!
Samo nastavi druze. Kako kazu "Big love from Bosnia🇧🇦"
I'm considering moving to a jungle, cambodia maybe, for a couple years without internet just so when I come back I can binge watch this channel for a weekend.
You devil, keeping us waiting way too long for the next instalment of “yeah, that’s broken” :-)
Best content on CZcams by a very wide margin. Keep it up Sreten :)
Hey Sreten, a little advice:
You could upgrade your Aquablast with iPad Screen-protection-glass or similar, some of them are water reppelent. So you can stick them to your sight-glass (Sichtglass) and you can then turn your wiper off and have a very clear sight.
I learned this from CNCing, many CNC Machines have that on their Sightglass.
Good luck with your Projects!
Viele Grüße aus Bremen!
iPad Screen-protection-glass, isn't this just Gorilla Glass?
Just use oleophobic coating. It’s water repellant but the problem with it that is will wear off over time.
The* best thing is when you just cooked dinner, sit down in front of your computer, refresh CZcams and M539 uploads a new video. Just puts an instant smile on my face. Love you my guy. Keep it up.
And don't forget. Red colored rope only.
Does anyone else get excited when a vid drops, such a kid.
Your videos, especially like this one, are an absolute masterpiece for any perfectionist or car enthusiast! Well done, my friend!
Duuude insanely satisfying clean engine bay, beautiful wrenching done in this episode. Thank you!
Brilliant episode. The work, filming, editing, must take at ton of effort. Well worth it though, really enjoyable stuff.
This is probably a good car to sell to fund other projects.
Sreten is a brilliant guy I reckon. Smart, handsome, funny, hard working and honest.
@@AlexanderMichelson and with Fogging Oil: For Men, he smells fantastic.
@@philrohtla6458 I've never had the opportunity to smell him, but I'm sure he does.
Actually, I've been thinking about it for some reasons. No homo, but if I was a hot woman (not the manly man who I am with a beard and everything) I would totally f him. Just saying. Sreten should know that I think.
@@AlexanderMichelson well he would clean your engine bay first 🤣
That 51 minutes went by enjoyably quickly. Thanks
Now imagine the spreadsheet size bill if you do this job on bmw's shop!
Congrats on 300K! There are few people that deserve it as much as you do. The Skills,The Knowledge. 👍🏻
I’m just in from the freezing cold north UK - fitting a split charge relay to a camper - and in the spirit of this channel I did it right first time - which meant unravelling and rectifying a load of dodgy electrics from previous tinkerers ! I have a brew, the fire lit and will be watching this now. Nice timing !
This is like a Master Class for BMW technicians.
Watching this gentleman with a beer in your hand makes it even better!
I enjoyed every moment of your perfectionism. Nobody else does it like you!
Watch "motoren zimmer" he does it as well ;)
Thanks , i do my best to satisfy you guys 👌👍
Love how you make it look so much easier than it actually is. And the clicking noise that comes during installations is so satisfying to watch.. can’t wait for the next video. 🤛🏽
I don't even start watching the videos and they get a like before the adds are even done. Thanks for blessing us with a video today!!!!
This should be on Netflix man! You have got to do something about it and make it happen!!
Oh yeah, long awaited episode on the mighty v12!
I really like the editing with sounds and fast forwarding of similar steps. Brilliant 👏 it is so satisfying to watch!
That engine looked like my tefal cooking pan after 30 years! Amazing transformation!
When even almost an hour episode is not enough.
Wow, that was unbelievable. 26:23 Working this kind of sensitive, complicated, tiny places requires a huge courage, patient and responsibility. I find no words to appreciate your work you have done.
Amazing job Sreten, E32 was the first BMW I fell in love with, it’s amazing to see one returning to the roads in such a great condition.
Engine bay cleaning is some serious ASMR.
"I am not going to go for showroom quality clean" >> Proceeds to make it look like it just came from the factory. Incredible.
That parts washer is soooo satisfying to watch! Amazing results!
Best day of the week! Loving these longer videos. Keep up the great work Sreten!
There is no substitute for passion and work ethic.
This man is a artist. Every episode is more enjoyable than the last one. I love how detailed everything is, it is so satisfying to watch it truly relaxes me.
Doktor Sreten back at it on another V12, loving your work gospodine!
Well look at that! You found a good use for the sliding roof! Another excellent video.
Easiest way I found to get the Valve Stem Seals off in my BMW 850 was to use a MAPP torch for about 5 seconds. Softens them up and they come right off. Oil will not burn, watch out for your paper towels in the oil drains though. I had the single hook tool, it does not work as well as yours, it gets cocked off to the side easy.
Back in '83, i replaced the valve stems of my 633CSi without special tools (a bent 14mm flat wrench was used to compresss the springs, the pistons in high position kept the valves up). Worked out very well :-)
Rubbish day at work, come home with some beers and a pizza and this has been uploaded... Perfect!
1h of pure joy, thank you Sret!
Perfect timing, literally just finished part 6 after it popped up in my feed 🤞
That water blaster is a beast. Educational and entertaining videos with a healthy dose of comedy, keep it up Sreten.
That's the greatest parts washer the world has ever seen. Holy smokes.
I'm so happy to see more progress being made on this E32. Being an E34 owner/fan, these videos on the older BMWs are my favorites. 😊
The utmost respect, Sreten! Love the way you do all those things!
Watching that Aqua (vapor) blasting cabinet is like watching zit-popping videos. So satisfying.
Your editing made this 100x more satisfying
Thanks for the great content Sreten, absolutely clear and entertaining. I wish I could afford to buy any car that has been restored by you, I am certain it would give great pleasure and trouble free motoring for decades to come, you are the best on youtube by far. Keep it up mate 👍👍👍
Hello Sreten, I came across your channel because I'm a huge fan of Salvage Rebuilds UK and noticed yours...ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT MATE...FANTASTIC STUFF!!!👍👌👍👌
Cleaning the engine bay may not be his favorite part but in this case it is the most rewarding!
That AquaBlast is paying for itself. Truly astonishing machine!
Thank you man, I was suffering to wait your episode. After a long day of university exams, here is Sreten making my day ❤
Excellent episode, as always! Amazing job, amazing car! It is a shame they discontinue parts for this engineering masterpiece!
If I knew nothing about you, I still would have clicked for the thumbnail alone. Now, time to watch an hour of awesome that only feels like 10 mins.
The loss of money due to laziness has come to a stop. Only when I have no tools for the tasks, will I take my BMWs to the dealership. (I have acquired tools in this manner; compiling a tool list for the planned tasks). But so far, thank you for the lecture and inspirational recordings, I have retraced every step and fixed, serviced, and installed parts that required attention. Thank you for the brilliance and selfless share of skill and knowledge 🙏👌🙌👏👍😉
Absolutely love when you show before and after using aqua blast on parts
Besides all the amazing amount of mechanical work you do, I have to say that is sooo satisfying to see all those parts as clean as when they came out from the factory. That vapour blast cabinet is worth every cent. Cheers from Ecuador, south America! A huge fan across the pond. Your videos are pure gold Sreten!
I’m still blown away about someone could INCORRECTLY install a fuel pump..
One thing I learnt from doing the valley pan job... always use good quality sealant (with slightly generous amount and clean off later). The factory gasket is just not going to hold up after couple years of heat cycling. It's a long area so the thermal expansion and contraction wear will make it leak again if without sealant.
Love the E32, great to see it back in the dojo again. Thanks for another brilliant video!
I really like to watch you work, in part because I can relate to getting everything so clean and keeping it that way. It just makes working on anything more enjoyable.
You don’t need to go to the software store to buy that bolt, you can just download it…
Amazing work and videos! Inspiring!
"Bob's you're uncle" nice to see Aussie slang being used. Love the channel mate.
Always gotta love the exciting amount of perfection we get
Congrats for the well done job! This is so satisfying! Can't wait to hear that engine running again!
Man, you are an example yo follow for every mechanic on the planet
If this car had feelings, it would be as happy as every viewer that knows this beautiful machine has a new life thanks to your skills set and attention to details.
I love your attention to detail. A man after my own heart. Things may take way longer than they should but the end result is just sooooo good. I always love watching your videos. 👌
I'm also amazed at how many V engines have really poorly designed elements in the valley area requiring a ton of hours to fix when they go wrong.
Keep up the epic work man 😊
I absolutely love your videos, everything about it it's just amazing. Please never stop making them
From back in the day when BMW's were built to last longer than the warranty.
Sreten is working at his cars like a german 👍🏻👍🏻
Thumbs up for detailed knowledge serwed to us im the process. Its like beeing able to watch a mechanic perform a repair live 😃Love it.
Hey man just want to say thank you for sharing this! Love your detailed and methodical work keeping these beauties on the road :)
The mighty V12 looks better then new. That Aqua Blast makes parts look so good. Looking forward to seeing the old turd moving and breathing again.
I think you want to marry that water blaster. Your work is a pleasure to watch. You leave nothing to chance and the finished work looks factory fresh or better. Looking forward to seeing it running. I'm sure it will purr like a kitten.
Much respect for your work and commitment
love your updates and really love your informative and funny comments
on to the next video and i can wait because i can really imagine how much time it takes
much respect to you
a fan
Ha! So happy to see another upload - Thank you Sreten!
I admire your dedication, especially that personally I am as clumsy as man can be :D but looking at your dedication.... Man if I would be a car I would love to end up in your garage when I will get old :D
Greetings from Dublin!
that vapor blaster is like a "newness painter" i love it
How much longer until the car TV studios come looking to sign Sreten to a contract? Amazing amount of detail, camera work, and editing for a one man show. So many of these E32 V12s were junked so it's nice to see one being given respect.
Hey Sreten, love your videos! The way you've grown and progressed is amazing...word of caution: please put in some security features for your garage (if you haven't already). I may have seen a security panel in a recent video, but not sure. There are shady characters out there who love to steal everything someone else has built. ✌
The compression is good becoz of the leaking valve stem seals, giving you a wet compression test result. Let's see the compression results when the seals have been replaced.
Absolutely incorrect. If you actually watched that video, you'd know that the compression test was done with the engine fully warmed up, meaning all oil burned off. The seals didn't leak within seconds, but days.
Thank you thank you thank you for returning to the E32 750iL! Cheers!
I start dreaming of the sound of scratching, clipping and vacuuming in time laps.
Again a nice episode! Have a good time and greetings from the South!
41:15 to 41:17. The feeling of succes dropping in two seconds to frustration. Relatable for anyone wrenching on their own cars 😅
Sreten has gotta be the best thing to happen to CZcams
Most satisfying channel on CZcams
Pure and simple - you are a BMW genius and a CZcams editing genius too.
