When Susan was speaking at times there was almost a little girl quality to her voice. However, when the music starts........ Ooooh wow! The little girl is gone. What an amazing singing voice!!!
Wild how Susan has such a sweet quiet speaking voice, ah but then put a guitar in her hands (or Derek by her side) and she suddenly transforms into the most BLUESY RASPY WONDERFUL singer out there~!~ (can you tell I'm a bit of fan?)

I was quite amazed myself the first time I heard her speak in an interview, I was just like whaaat? Lol. It's amazing it's like a miraculous change, and I love both are speaking and singing voice
