Kim Kardashian may have dressed up as mutant shapeshifter Mystique for Halloween this year, but she apparently has morphing abilities of her own. In Thursdayâs new episode of Huluâs âThe Kardashians,â the Skims mogul took fans behind the scenes of her prep for the Met Gala 2022 red carpet, where she made headlines by showing up in Marilyn Monroeâs iconic âHappy Birthday, Mr. Presidentâ dress. Examining a replica of the gown, Kardashian confessed her fear of not being able to squeeze into the historic garment, which was memorably worn by the late Hollywood blonde in 1962.
âIf this does not fit me, like, I canât even try the original,â she told her stylist, Danielle Levi.
While Kardashianâs measurements donât match Monroeâs, she added, âThe width of my shoulders and my body makes me a shapeshifter. I can squeeze into anything.â âI can squeeze into anything, but no one trusted us for years. A little story, read if u have the time. So this person I know went to a little beach for a weekend getaway (this is in a third world country btw). So he is sitting by the beach and sees these 2 little girls wearing nothing but underwear, skinny as heck. He calls them to come to him and he asks them âwhere are ur clothes?â They tell him that they only have 2 dresses. And they only wear them occasionally not to ruin them.
