Yes and most of what they are saying here is not true. I spacing surgery isn’t even a thing except an extreme facial deformity. you can’t just move your skull around like that 🤣
It’s amazing how fooled some people can be by make up and facial expressions. It’s obvious that all she had was a minor nose job and probably a chin implant to bring her chin out a few millimeters. Actual surgeons have looked at pictures of her.

Beyond her lovely face, she loved others... My neighbor worked at 20th Century Fox back in the day and told me stories. The one that stood out was one day she was really sick and when Marilyn showed up to sign in took one look at her and was very concerned, ran out and bought her soup. The other stars just signed in and ignored her as they always did. She was truly one special lady!

You can't quantify Marilyn's unique beauty with numbers and angles: she was more attractive than the sum of her individual features would indicate. There are many beautiful women but MM had that indefineable quality that is easily recognised but never replicated. I've seen so many biographical movies or documentaries and, even though they had a million actresses to choose to cast and with makeup, wardrobe and prosthetics and other tricks I've never seen one that comes anywhere close to MM's magnetism. That's why she's still mesmerising 60+ years after her death.❤️

Talking about a person who is now in spirit form doesn't drain them of their energy.
They watch us the way we watch tv. They are still interested in their loved ones while they continue their lives at Home. We don't float around on clouds flying to and fro at the whim of every person who says our name.
They just look and see who's mentioning them. They can pop down very easily just like they can go wherever they choose.

However, she had the combination of a childlike , yet beautiful, and sweet face, a soft voice, a sexy way of moving, and a cloud around her making her look somehow extremely feminine. Like a well-shaken cocktail. So many other women back in the way and after her death may have a beautiful face or figure, but no one has this unspeakable combination of a sexy grown-up woman and a slightly scared childlike innocence, - all in one person. Someone mentioned Kate Moss as more attractive to men than Marilyn Monroe. Plump women often come across as "soft," because they lack angularity. Recent fashion news commented on how tight the waist was on Kim Kardashian. Combined with her hippo backside, that extremely small waist gave her some curves, like AI botox. Kim was seeking to "fool the eye"' with her curves. At her height, that rump is as curvy as a bag of bocci balls ? Were you fooled? I wasn't. I've seen Macy's blimps up close.

I worked as a nurse for a group of plastic surgeons and at age 21 had an upper lid blepharoplasty. Acquaintances would tell me that I looked so rested afterwards when they didn’t realize that I had surgery. 40 years later, I never regretted the surgery. A simple blepharoplasty does not raise your eyebrows and the eyes might droop if too much tissue is removed from the lower lids. Looking at her younger pictures, she probably had similar comments that she was tired simply because of her eyelids. She was a photogenic woman who played to the camera which made her beautiful.

Blonde hair aside, Marilyn’s role in Ladies of the Chorus is probably closest to her natural “Norma Jean” state by way of appearance and mannerisms prior to becoming the polished and perfected icon that the world has come to idolize.
As Norma Jean, her looks were approachable and charming.
    Pretty, but not necessarily “beautiful”.
Not by Hollywood studio standards of that period and most certainly not as a cinematic “bombshell” in the seductive movie star goddess kind of way.
Her natural beauty could only take her so far so she had to perfect it and also had to hyper sexualize and over exaggerate her femininity to an almost drag-like level. Something of which most female entertainers who are viewed as sex icons do or have done. Yet when it came to facial attractiveness, Marilyn’s make up artist knew what to do to enhance her looks, but she was still beautiful, even without make up, and even without surgical perfection .

I agree with everything you wrote, apart maybe for the Mae West comment.
I see Mae West as a rather vulgar woman, almost caricatured in her attempt to appear steamingly hot and sexy. Perhaps a little intimidating to some in her frivolity.
She was clearly the preditor, more than the man.
I see Monroe, radiating a much more innocent and sweet sensuality that would appeal to men in a quite different way. She was the pray and the desired one, not the predator.

Marilyn Monroe, the woman who influenced pop culture for an entire century and inspired artists of all kinds. Luckily lately, experts are discrediting all this bullshit that is being said about her plastic surgeries. The only work she did was on the cartilage of her nose. Some people make beauty comparisons with other actresses, but the comparisons are just personal opinions and do not change the facts. She had a particular magic that no one else has ever had (Billy Wilder's words that I agree with). She was a sweet innocent little girl and at the same time she was a seductive woman with super sex appeal. Marilyn Monroe remains an unrepeatable alchemy. She changed and innovated the canons of sensuality and femininity, enchanting the world and dared when everything was forbidden. What a woman!

Moreover, she hadn't got the eyelids job. She lost a lot of her face fat when she got older, as you have mentioned. The same thing happened to me btw.
When you showed her pics from swimming pool you can clearly see her eyes haven't changed that much. (12:53) She also lost significant amount of weight.
You compared pics with her smiling with pics with her having serious face (which she cocked also)
This sensual dropped look was being achieved by makeup and just raising eyebrows. Let's mot forget Marilyn Monroe was kinda the role for Norma Jean.

When I read Norman Mailer’s Marilyn biography I learned of her lowering her smile due to having a high lipped grin that exposed her upper gums when smiling. I too had that and subsequently learned to lower mine. I also learned from it how she could “turn it on” when needed and I became conscious of how I moved and how to “turn it on” and draw attention through posture, poise, walk, and expression. It was both entertaining and empowering. It was also beneficial in many ways. One of them being a brief modeling career. It’s a power to possess. Yet not at all as magical or memorable as Marilyn’s. People might view these movements and body language as being natural, but it’s all very calculated and deliberate. It’s more of a skill than anything.

There were so many things that made her beautiful, one I think was her frailty and vulnerability, almost child like and constantly seeking approval which was understandable given her traumatic childhood.

I don't't think she had plastic surgery, at that time plastic surgery wasn't popular just like now. People in that time were quite real beauty than nowadays. It's because of the make up not surgery.

@@ms.elegant4571 It is one of my prime wishes for this universe that people who like badmouthing Marilyn for this or that reason or purpose will someday know, by first-hand experience, how it is to be an orphan for such a long time that all you have left inside is a child with huge craving to be loved, which eventually makes a person prone to abuse of different forms.
Marilyn did't just "bed" anybody. She obviously had this bad habit of loving people, regardless of whether they deserved love or not.
And if my wish is granted on that Judgment Day, which I hope is very near, we will at least start to live in a more understanding and more compassionate universe - hopefully.

As someone with hooded eyelids, Your eye makeup just completely disappears and it’s hard for makeup artists to achieve a nice look. I have thought about getting surgery for this many times.

It looks like this is the 1st video for Zahyr. I just subscribed and am looking forward to more beauty analysis of anyone they wish to review.
This helps anyone who is thinking of enhancing their own looks, such as someone like myself contemplating a lip lift to shorten my philtrum.
But now I see this breakdown and and have measured my own ratio philtrum and bottom lip to bottom and see I do have the 2 to 1 ratio that
is considered balanced. I just have a longer face than ideal to begin with, but that my current proportions go together. It's hard when the social media touts certain procedures and tells you that you need a philtrum to be a certain length, or you need surgery, without taking into account
the relationship of your other measurements. But is someone's proportions are off, and plastic surgery can correct, then this analysis is
helpful for choosing surgery as well. I'm all for everyone looking as good as they can.

Your philtrumis not long and yes you belong to the longer faced category. Just sharing what I learned from surgeons, if one desires a more childlike face, surgeons usually would correct it with a little fat grafting to plump up the cheeks and smooth the contours and shorten the chin a little.

Each procedure was an improvement. That was part of her job. I loved the Norma Jean just as much as the Marilyn Monroe image. It was such a waste of her life. I know she had wanted children. She was a success, but yet had a sad life. She was never happy. She would portray happiness for her fans, which was the most brave thing she ever did. I miss her. I did imitations of her when I was a child. She passed away when I was about 5 years old.

Interesting video. I’ve always known that there are many skeletal differences between male and female. It’s interesting to learn the exact ways in which these contrasts play out. As many of the comments convey, Marilyn’s beauty went beyond her facial structure. But, then again this video is specifically a facial analysis not a commentary on her overall beauty as a person. Thank you for posting.
