Hey, fellow Rookie here from Reddit DxM sub!
Just wanted to add the note for possible new players that this boss is actually quite solo-able with handheld Shotguns, or Shotgun weapon arms. Held Shotguns will deal damage more quickly, but can be stolen by Eclipse's gravity well attack. Shotgun Weapon Arms, though inferior for DPS, cannot be stolen (and have plenty of ammo), so they are really the easiest option if you have them. Just get close and blast away at the boss; when it tries its gravity well, let it pull you in and shoot it some more. Easy kill in 2-3 minutes tops once you have the general knack.

side note, this boss spams missiles akin to nightmare, so every single boss is accounted for.
Problem is a lot of them do that so its hard to say it's one boss or the next lol
@@DadPlaysStuff true but I think I've narrowed it down to nightmare for the following reasons:
1 gunfort beta's missiles have a distinct shape which eclipse doesn't use
2 rebellion stops before firing while eclipse fires while moving (which nightmare also does)
3 dominator doesn't use missiles for primary attacks
4 snatcher's missiles fire directly upward, then home in, while eclipse (and nightmare) home from the start.
5 dreadnought only fires after burrowing, poking it's head out of the ground.
is there any other way to diferenciate the main body? Sometimes i lost track of it and after that there are 3 with the barrier up with the same color.
the main body lights up a different colour from the rest .... look at the little lights on his body once he enters the fractal stage,

Yeah i have all bps they are literally just luck you need to just keep trying sadly.
Destroyed eclipse 100% on both levels and its not dropped any blue prints yet. Oh and dominator omaga done but have not got standard dominator mission ( on line missions), its not on the list.
There is no standard dominator mission,other than the story mode one.
As for the blueprints all u can do is keep fighting him till it drops sadly
