Even with a highly optimized VATS build you cant really make heavy weapons work with VATS, their damage is too low for the amount of AP they take per shot.

It took me forever, but I finally have a full set of unyielding thorn armor just as of last week!

imo and i say again b4 the hate pours in lol IMO. ap regen is a waste. i never ever on my full health melee build have i run out of ap. yes might get a bit close on bosses if solo. but again depends on your build. ( if your a chainsaw/ autoaxe build then yeah could be a issue ap but with all your food buffs and coffee not really a problem ap). im unarmed so no issues for me on ap. i much prefer vangard +1 str and either cav/sent/wwr. with polymer and brawling box mods. it took me 3700 vault steel to get my full vangard set. and another 2500 for a crap uny set lol....again just my opinion folks and each to there own and whats good for me is not so good for next person. keep up the good work buddy ... love the vids.

I miss pre damage nerf 76, loved one shotting eveything with unarmed and melee. And it sas perfectly balanced because glass cannon! Now the rail is king and one shotting most things is rare :(

which mod do you use for the health bar segments? Ive looked for some but they all seem outdated

i get better armor from drops than i do from rolling, atl almost 800+ rolls for a single ss arm, still using a 2 star unyielding int, of those 800 rolls, 6 unyielding, 2 (not unyeilding) with weapons weight, and 1 unyielding with rad remove .......................................................................... Rolling for armor or anything is trash.

Explosive is trash for stealth builds. Each explosion causes and additional sneak check now. I would suggest either 50crit or 25weapon speed for stealth vats

I think the Thorn armor is better than the Solar armor. Those are great set bonuses.

How did you get the pistol? Did you get it directly from the rusty pick or did you roll for it on a weapons bench? I am currently using a quad gamma gun and absolutely love it but wanna change it up with another pistol. Thanks for the vid!

Cryo resistance will be good if B ever brings back mutated events. But hey. Keep those garbage events like jail break.

Thorn armor is worth it. I switched back to my UY SS armor and found it felt "dead". I turned all of that in for script. Thorn armor is like having someone watching your back. Touch me and die! Pity it doesn't work with weapon bash from enemies though.

Bloodied or Vampire are the best rolls for this. Anti armor not so much due to Incisor Perk. Power Attack Damage is reeeeally good. Afted adding shockpads this hits like a truck!

If only it were bloodied or aristocrats, would be amazing. But even with a virtually dead 1st effect, still does great cuz it’s a great weapon. 👍

I did a few rolls on the Gauntlet the other night and got a similar anti armor roll. I was disappointed when I discovered that no skin exists in the game for this weapon. Come on Bethesda! Add a skin for the Gauntlet

This aged well, cremator is the most obnoxious weapon in the game, it's fucking every event I attend. Will continue to afk as long as there are morons with cremators. Hope they nerf it again or something coz it bloody sucks

I feel your pain. Just blew 500 modules for crap…then watched my kid roll four excellent PA pieces with her first six tries.

I spend 350 modules getting a uny set for an alt. One piece I got was TOO good for an alt ( Uny / AP / WWR ) so I traded it for x2 Tattered field jackets, which in turn I traded for a bunch of Grolls I needed for some of my other characters 😂

Is radiation damage a good PvP strategy against bloodied players?

I think when they have aligned long barrel the range is like 204 or something like that and when modded the AP is really cheap

I made a set of this for my latest character. Quite lucky to get 3 Overeaters quite quickly. Used about 70 modules. The other 2 pieces I kept were Chameleon and Weightless. Some good 2nd and 3rd effects. Nice to have a jetpack at level 50 and weapons degrading slower is good at low level.

I honestly love it. But I'm the type of player who uses all armors for specific scenarios. Mixing and matching this with the enclave or the cremator is great for some daily ops and especially expeditions, far more fire protection for the cremator than the ss. But when I'm not in a medics explosive heavy full life build I use the ss with the railway for ap improvement. Utilizing all armor sets in the game is highly underated.

of 200 rolls i made, i got 7 unyielding, 4 over eaters, and of those 1 of the unyielding was weapons weight, which is actually better than the ss set i keep trying for. .

I used so many modules it hurts for my uny/led/sent CE set, but its really satisfying when the sets are finished.

How do you get the enemy's resistances to show when you aim at them?

They really need to remove some of trash legendary prefixes. No Bethesda, nobody wants increased lockpicking sweet spot on their power armor

I stripped 7 toons of cores and modules trying to roll my unyielding set. In fairness i got a few sets but i want decent rolls not junk. Got a wack of overeaters and vanguard 😢

Just yesterday I finished my unyielding civil engineer set. Spend a lot of scrip to get it. The rest of the stats are trash though, but for now I'm happy to get that at least 😅

Rolling this armor eats up cores and modules like crazy. However the fact that I can trade pieces to my other characters to put together different sets makes it nice.

4:45 A lot of people don't realize, but if you have an enclave flamer, and you keep it in pistol form. You can the equip the crackshot perk which increases the range of ALL pistols by 30% (to include your enclave flamer). I have a pistol build that walks around with two pistols: AAE Crusader pistol, and an AA FFR Enclave flamer pistol. One of my FAVORITE characters to play

Pretty good luck honestly. I seem to be able to craft a set usually in around 350 modules, but almost always end up with at least close to another good full set. I crafted level 1 light leather to make an overeaters set and got a full unyielding set at the same time plus a bunch of mixed WWR and FDC parts that can be good for mules. The worst slog was trying to craft an Uny scout set with FDC reduction. Took me over a year and I finally just came across the last piece in someone's vendor.

Had an unyielding / poison / sentinels civil engineers arm piece drop from fasnacht. It's the only decent thing i've ever received from that terrible event.

This has always been my fave weapon in 76. I traded a Bloodied Explosive shotgun that I had gotten from the SBQ for an Anti Armor Explosive +1agi Radium sometime in the first 6 months after beta. I spent hours and hours farming Screws so I could make radiums and scrap them for the mods. I can't remember how many rifles I had to make but I do remember that it took well over 18000 screws. I do wish they would have reduced the AP cost them though. We needed more options year one than just a Fixer or Handmade. This weapon could have been a great option back then but I don't think the Devs really cared about that. They were pretty busy removing way more content that they were producing like Vault Raids so more options for the consumer had to be last on the list. Is there hope that they will rebalance the Radium soon? It will be interesting seeing what else if anything they do now with rebalancing weapons.

if i remember correctly i have a radium rifle with bloodied, explosive and -ap cost and being having a blast using the weapon does better than a fixer or anything else that i currently have lol

I think I bought a juggernauts, explosive, ap cost radium rifle a few weeks ago from a vendor, definitely going to try it out now
