A lot of people wonder how Kiri was even conceived despite Grace dying and having no signs of pregnancy. I have a theory which might actually be the case; When Grace 'died' she had to pass through the so called Eye of Eywa, but she was too weak in order to fully be transferred into her Avatar body. So instead Eywa had to put what was left of the weakened Grace, into a child that grew inside her Avatar's womb. So instead of having a full transference, Grace was essentially "reborn" as Kiri. Eywa more or less gave her a second chance at life and I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that Grace herself did a lot of good things for the Na'vi. Thus she was allowed to walk on Pandora again by the great mother.
This makes sense. And it is amazing what writers can do with their imagination.
Kiri is basically Jesus.

Good theory. But then Kiri wouldn't have met her mother in the soul tree when she had epilepsy. I think that Grace herself became Eywa or part of her and hence Kiri has a strong connection with Eywa. Perhaps the human origin of both explains this connection. That's what I thought when I saw the movie.
But how could a death body stay pregnant ? I mean Grace's body and her avatar body are both death ?🤔🤔
She is more connected to eywa then anyone she has a great gift.

Because she is Eywa's daughter, she was not conceived, she was created from the prayers of Nyteri's prayers for Eywa to keep whatever was left from Grace, but since Grace was way too gone, Eywa made Kiri of those remains, that's how she was mysteriously born in my opinion so she is the child of Eywa

What makes Kiri so amazing is the fact that in some ways she is a very relatable character for a lot of us
Kiri is like the inner child, everyone of us has in their mind and body. We should keep it alive and don't close it away. Because without this part, we will see the world getting grey and boring.
Kiri is a remarkable young woman who is truly gifted and no matter how different she is from all of the Na'vi clans, she is still a Na'vi, and she is spiritually connected to the goddess Eywa. She is loved by her adoptive family, her biological mother, all the Pandoran animals, and even Eywa, the Great Mother
I'm in the group that thinks she's a demigod, daughter of Eywa through Grace.

That line where she says ''thank you great mother, thank you " after her family safe, hits me so hard right in my heart and makes me cry ..this movie had the best in everything

I love how they added the details of Kiri wearing her hair like Grace and also her necklace.
Grace was given to Eywa at the end of the last movie, Grace was so connected to the Na'vi, their science, their history, they beliefs and values and Eywa herself sent Kiri through Grace's avatar body, Eywa is Kiri's father
Kiri is like a Jesus figure. She is one with Eywa and Pandora, like the Holy Trinity. She was born of a mysterious immaculate conception. She can do things that other Na'vi can't do (miracles). Her mother's is named "Grace" (Grace is the basis for the Christian faith). She was adorned with "wings" almost like an angel. In Hindu Kiri means "Ray of Light". I predict that she will become more and more central to the story in the sequels. Her scene when she takes on the Sub with the special gift that she has is one of my fave scenes of the movie. I believe that she didn't kill the sub pilot, she just had him held by the anemone until the fight was over, or something like that.

I had never considered this. But you're absolutely right. Kiri is definitely my favorite character from the latest movie. I really can't wait to see where her story goes. I hope that she gets a chance to actually meet her mother.
Jesus was not born of an immaculate conception, that's the way Catholics view it. Same people whose leader demanded that he became the most powerful out of all the church leaders and added filioque to the creed, splitting the chruches. God choose Mary to conceive His son because she lived a virtuous life, not because she was perfect. Only He is without sin and all of us will sin some day in life, no exceptions.

I feel like some of your art is made especially for me. I have been struggling to remember who I am.. where I come from. Being adopted and sometimes feeling like I'm not part of my family. To being the black sheep and how animals love and flock to me. I love nature..I'm a water sign.. a cancer at that. Kiri is my favourite character from either film, because I kinda know how she feels. I grew up being picked on and called a freak because whilst the other boys were playing football I was running around the woods with a bow and arrows, eating wild berries and trying to make friends with animals. They tried to mock me by calling me "nature boy", which I now take as a compliment.
I understand how it feels to be different in a creative and free spirited kind of way. While most of the other kids in my neighborhood were playing sports, games like kickball(ugh!), I was pretending to be either an animal or a character from some of my favorite fairy tales. I actually made costumes from construction paper and scotch tape! Lots of fun, although I mostly did this indoors. I love nature and animals. When my mom mentioned to me that I was part Cherokee, I became fascinated with Native American culture. Yep, I made some items from colored paper with that, too. Honestly, I miss those days. Kept up my creativity with art and writing, though. The big kid in me lives on. Thank goodness!😄
@@michellelocke2874 Likewise, I might be 32 now rather than 11, but I feel like I've progressed rather than changed (which is to say the home made bow I carried as a kid is now a real hunting bow, and eating wild berries is now a passion for wild foods and medicines).

Foraging is a wonderful skill to have. Hunting is also a great skill to have. Some areas need hunters to help improve the nature there. The area where I live is very overpopulated with whitetail deer. If you garden in this area you need a fence to discourage the deer from eating the garden.
I'm currently looking into herbs and vegetables to discourage pests since the garden needs to be inlarged.

I feel pity for Kiri she gets none of the answers of where she came from and who her father was and I get the fact that she's a Demigoddess of Eywa I feel like she has not been given the low down other mystical origins which I think is so cruel here at the answers right there in their grasp and she was robbed us them when she met her mother in the afterlife of eywa I think she got screwed out of the biggest deal of our life which in my eyes is cruel being robbed of the answers she seeks faith is so cruel

A lot of you guys may not know this movie but for some reason Kiri reminds me of Violet from the movie The Boxcar children. She has that calm yet curious mind for nature and wildlife in general just like Violet does.

The funny part is that Eywa is referred to as “the great mother” meaning that Grace was impregnated by “the great mother.” I find this very interesting and beautiful, as if I were to imagine a deity, it would be a female, or a “they.”

Kiri should be the resolution of conflict between the humans and Navii. Her connection to Eywa and planet life will give her "supernatural" powers; to call on all the flora and fauna. However as she has experienced kindly humans among the scientists she cannot simply wipe out the "sky people". Eywa is a steward of life and would not want the humans killed either. The human enclave must be threatened with an overwhelming force but not destroyed. Eywa and Kiri will offer conditional peace perhaps through conversion. The humans can find a more suitable world.
Whenever I think of Kirk I think of the song “show yourself” from frozen because it matches her character so well

Je me projette beaucoup à travers Kiri, de part ma vie et ma spiritualité, 0:38 ça évoque le harcèlement scolaire quand on est différent et pas accepter par les autres, 0:50 difficile pour moi car je n'ai pas vécu avec ma mère biologique, 3:00 le pire moment pour moi car ça me rappelle le jour ou j'ai failli mourir d'une très grosse crisse d'allergie alimentaire et j'ai tellement pleuré.
