I’m danish so i have alot to say about us, we played pretty “attacking football” in the period of 2020-2022 (pre WC) but Hjulmand decided to change to a possesion based tactic. And it really has not worked for us, we play horribly against small teams, the only chance we have is if Hjulmand switched back to his “Champagne Fodbold”=Exciting football but, Mikkel Damsgaard has been really terrible since is move to Brentford but has started to find a bit of form. I think we’ll end 2nd but crash out against Germany, we really have no creative midfielders other than Eriksen, so that’s a problem too. The danish expectations have been lowered incredibly, we play pretty good as under dogs.
@@zMarsIsCool yep your tactics have been odd to say the least. Damsgaard has fallen under the radar but he tends to perform better on the bigger stages!
@@intothefray12 I don’t really know about Damsgaard anymore, last season he was really bad but yeah he has been getting better as he got more freedom in his position but i don’t think he’ll start.

I can’t to see the semifinal rematch between Denmark and England. Even though England might win this match but I do see a close match between them. Which is where I see Group C, an entertaining matches to see and a close to call of finishing in the Round of 16th. What I think Denmark would finish is similar to Slovenia and it depends. I see Denmark finishing either 2nd or 3rd in this Group Stage. But all the luck for Denmark in this tournament.
Damsgaard has been one of Denmarks biggest disappointments since euro 2020. I don't think he should even be in the squad: Matt O'Reilly is miiiiles better. Such a shame. I will be very suprised if he shows anything at this tournament.
My bid for 'One to watch' is without doubt Morten Hjulmand. He will be a starter for a top 10 club within 2 -3 years, no doubt.
Damsgaard has been good in the last few friendlies, but before that, I'd have agreed that his development has been disappointing. But that is due to injuries.
I agree that O'Reilly should have gotten a spot, but it's hard to decide instead of whom.
Damsgaard been good recently for Brentford too.
