    I see Barry Robinson’s name in the comments. What are your thoughts on Barry Robinson’s criticism that a boxers base is compromised by stepping too close together? Thoughts on that? (Just recently had a discussion where I was defending this footwork) Thanks man. Always love your work. ✌️

    Nice L-step! Well balanced, good timing and rhythm. But what’s up with punching towards the roof? Not a critique. Just curious. Are most of your opponents crazy taller than you?

    Good video. Sometimes I see fighters do the first step of the L-step (in other words they just pull back the front foot), but then they just put the front foot back where it came from. I wonder what the point of it is ? Are they feinting the L-Step ? Or does it have some sort of other purpose. Thanks.

      to avoid punch maybe, when u pull the front foot back your head move backward

    Does this work moving to the opposite direction? To the left?

    • @McLeodScott
      @McLeodScott  Před 3 lety +2

      robin friday yeah it will work the exact same. You would be in the southpaw stance for it to work toward the left
