    Just switched from a 12.9 ipad pro 5th gen to the ultra and man im so happy. Ipad does a lot well however, its just a large iphone ans boring to use. The samsung allows you be more productive ans is fun to use, this is why I have ditched apple and went samsung ecosystem. Great review.

    Also, the samsung notes audio record function can actually sync to your notes, and will make it into an outline first, and then your drawings with the audio on top. Super underrated, but use everyday for lectures.

    11:01 For Artists I would 10/10 recommend getting the Wacom One Pen [if you are using a Samsung Tab]. Samsung screens work with the Wacom EMR pens and IMO they are better than both the S Pen and Apple Pencil {and they also work great if you have any type of "paper" imitation screen protector as that is the texture most Wacom pens normally draw on anyways} - on top of that they are only about 30$. Works especially well in Clip Paint Studio, and now you can put Clip Paint Studio into tablet mode which gives it a simpler layout more similar to Pro Create.

    this video is amazing...I came away from this video feeling this is a completely unbiased comparison of the 2 tablets and their respective eco systems...thank you for making this video..I'm stuck in between the two eco systems with an android phone and tablet but a Mac computer. I was thinking of going the iPhone iPad direction to enjoy the eco system benefits...but this video really highlights some of the constraints within the iPad and iPhone...so now I'm leaning towards the Samsung direction. I'll keep my eyes on the comments for any advice...thanks again for the video

    You forgot to mention how you can share photos and videos from samsung to any other device with quickshare. Yes, it does create a sort of google drive like feature where it creates a folder link, and u can send it to any other device without ruining the quality of the image/video. This is one of those features i tend to use often, especially when i take photos of my friends and family, and they ask me to share it with them being the only samsung user.

    I dint know. One thing that caught my attention was the Spen. I then fell asleep on my Spen with my (soon to be traded in) galaxy tab S6+ and they dont fold under pressure.
    I feel kinda bad that i bought the ipad pro thinking i was going to use it exclusively to edit my youtube vids but i dont thi k ive touched in more then 5-6times.
    That m2 chip i am sure is a beast but i cant seem to figure out premiere pro and i pay for thr dam subscription. Instead.....i use my tab s6+ as i am very comfortable with android's interface and lingo and although my tab S6 handles my videoa up to 4k120fps without tooo much of a hassle, i feel an upgrade to the S9 Ultra was the move to make.
    Im not sure if i should even make a video on rhem both like ypu jist did because quite frenkly, i might not even remember how to turn my dam ipad pro on 👀.
    I enjoyed watching your review my guy, keep up the good work!

    Thank you for your unbias review. I find most of the videos that compare Apple products are usually bias towards the apple product. I am looking into upgrading my chromebook HP which I LOVE. I use it daily. However, I found the few times I tried to write with it for medical charting it was not user friendly and difficult to write with so I quickly gave up. I was looking for a review specifically for tablets that are superior in the writing department. I personally do not like apple and want to avoid it becuase they do lock you into their apps, their accessories etc so I am glad that you presented an alternative.

      If purely streaming, I recommend the samsung tab s9 ultra. The display and sound quality are just divine, I traded my ipad m1 pro for my the samsung tab because of the amoled screen. It is just way better compared to ipad when you watch movies or youtube videos at 4k.

    As much as I want to save money and want a more portable device, the 12.9 inch is much easier to take notes on with it's bigger screen huh?? idk if you've tried the 11 inch iPad Pro but I feel like when it's split screen and taking notes, there's not enough of a comfortable space to write compared to the 12.9. What's your thought? 11 inch enough or nah? Great vid btw bro 👍

      @@kenosantos327 Hi, how do you like it so far (for taking notes)? I'm thinking of buying the S9 Ultra. But I also can't justify the purchase, because I'm a (computer science) student with no income.
      Currently, I'm using an iPad (Air). I don't know all the functions yet for note taking, but 'drag and drop' on Samsung's tablets looks so easy. On the iPad I have to make a screenshot first and then select it from my picture folder...

    • @kenosantos327
      @kenosantos327 Před 9 měsíci

      @@mcmosaic @mcmosaic The experience has been great, I'm a nursing major myself and the extra screen real estate has been amazing for being able to fit 3-4 tabs/apps at once. The drag and drop feature is pretty nice too, you just have to tap on the pen toolbox then you can drag around the part you want to grab select it and drag it over to your notes. Similarly on the internet, you can press and hold on images and it will extract the image out of the picture automatically. The size of the screen is quite overwhelming sometimes though, sometimes I wish I grabbed the S9+ but at the same time the thinner bezels and giant screen are so nice to have. I happened to buy it during a big sale and I also used Samsung's student discount, during that time I saved about $350. Unless you really need a new tablet, for you I don't think it would be a financially smart decision to spend that much for a tablet when you still have a functioning iPad air. You can pay monthly for it but you have to get approved and that takes time. If you have any other questions let me know! Hope this helps.

      I don't have the Samsung S9 ultra so i cant say on that, but I do hav the iPad pro M1. The M1 is a very powerful ipad and chip, but the ipadOS software definitely feels limiting. Stage manager feels extremely unfinished and limiting, and so does multitasking in general. Samsung Dex on the other hand seems to be working just like how a compiter would.
      So if you are set on getting an Ipad and don't care much for multitasking or using it with an external monitor, then Go for it! Procreate is amazing
      But if you think you'll multitask more, I'd probably get the Samsung.
      I'm thinking of selling my ipad and get a Samsung or something similar
      Edit: got plenty of offers on my ipad, but didn't end up selling it. The ipad is extremely powerful and runs very smoothly. My parents bought it for me in the first place, so i couldn't bring myself to sell it. Honour your parents💛
      It's still extremely good for media consumption, graphic design, video editing, Photoshop etc. Love it. And love you mom and dad💛

    All I will say, in my opinion, Samsung has less cons than Apple. Samsung lacks of pro apps and more years of updates. But Apple, you can't multitask like Samsung. There are not many tips and tricks. Customization is different, it's very limited. Samsung gives you freedom. It's like breathing fresh air.

    • @Whitchelslov
      @Whitchelslov Před měsícem

      @@captainspox935 -Customization, you need to download a bunch of apps to make you screen aesthetic ✨️. Samsung has an app called "Good lock" on their galaxy store which make our life easier.
      -The lack of software: iPadOS, although improving with each version, still is somewhat awkward and hamstrung for professional and productivity use.
      -Internal RAM cannot be upgraded. Even at the time of purchase, RAM upgrades that are available on some models also require very expensive storage upgrades.
      -Internal storage cannot be upgraded and may be inadequate given increasingly large file sizes to display images and other content optimized for the high-resolution displays (not to mention recording 4K video on compatible models). However, recent iPad Pro models easily can support external storage via USB-C or Thunderbolt.
      -No SD card slot for easy photo transfer.
