It was so satisfying watching those LEDs go in the trash! Lol.
Right
LED's goes to where it belongs, best part of the video!
Just as I read this comment he put them in😂
😂😂😂
yeah the whole douch bag kit
You really do some excellent work, I especially appreciate how you put in the extra time and money to replace or remove the tacky add-ons even though the bike is going to be sold. Great editing as well, these are super fun to watch! Also nice to see some quality motorcycle content from someone else in upstate NY. Cheers from the finger lakes, next time I'm in the market for a bike I'll look you up first!
You know im 54. And I’ve have had back surgery. I grew up with sport bikes. And never been more than a year without a sport bike. I finally sold my last bike about a year ago. Because i can no longer ride. It is the one of the most devastating things I’ve had to deal with in my life. Today I discovered your channel and to watch you work. Well it was great im now hooked on your channel. It brings a smile to my face
After a crash which deli ered forces high enough to rip the wheel, brake rotor and oil pan to shreds ... I really do not like the fact you inspected the front forks by looking at them on a table and giving it thumbs up. Thr forks definitely should be replqced after crash like this. Kinda scary to imagine I would be the person going 300kmh on this after this repair
It's awesome seeing these wrecked bikes be brought back to life. Great work!
Dont know why but this video felt so relaxing and satisfying to watch. Thank you for giving me a break from my anxiety
Thank you for showing and putting heat shielding on the fairings. So many people don’t and just throw on the replacements. I knew some guys that ran a Dyno shop and they’d melt a dozen a week (even after warning and asking the owners to remove fairing if they cared about them) and then the owners would get mad that their fairings melted like cheese.
With damage like that checking the alignment of the frame would be advisable. Also I would check the internals of the forks and change the triple head bearings.
I just made that point. Main reason why I won't buy a rebuilt unless I know what kind of wreck it was in and everything that was repaired or replaced. Especially frame damage. It may hold up for now but could fail in the worst possible way should it get wrecked again.
At least the rebuild process is cool to watch.
I love watching people make things look super easy, knowing damn well this would drive me crazy if I tried it myself lol. Love the video!
Great job Rob, I like seeing all the videos together like that. Cant wait to see u go buy the next one and rebuild it. Number 1 Canadian fan.
Jake! Thanks again brother! The next build is in the works!
Wished this was longer! Probably the best build cbr1000 video I've seen. Thanks for showing evrything, I feel more confident doing most of this on my own
I am lost for words that one man could do all that beautiful restoration alone.... what an education, thanks!
Bro, i just will say the job that you do here is amazing I really love it, thanks
Thank you! I appreciate the positive feedback! It keeps me going!
Honestly, jealous of how well and easily you repair bikes and i can’t even install my brake lights..
Those brake lights can be tricky sometimes!
Ditto, this mac is a legend 😁

Hey So nice to see such a lovely 'old' bike hit the road. Hope the bike has a better time of it on the road in 2021 and on a good race circuit where it belongs. Great work👍🏻
You are a true professional that pays attention to every detail. If I would want to by another use bike I would love to buy one of your builds! You make them all look brand new!
I want this as my retirement hobby. Rebuilding bikes.
Such passion and knowledge. :D
You inspire a lot of us.
skill top moto

Exactly what I was thinking!
My favorite generation Fireblade! You did an incredible recovery job on this beautiful bike! I felt ill, looking at all the tacky crap that had been added to it and I'm so glad you were able to restore it to its rightful glory!
Thank you! I'm glad you like it! It was such a good feeling removing the LEDs and other nonsense lol
Man, you are awesome, im from Argentina and i didn't see much of those bikes but the work that you do to make those bikes come alive it's incredible
Such an amazing job man
Thanks brother!
wow, what a transformation. Looks great! You got me wanting to buy a sport bike and fix it up... and I'm a 2x Harley owner, haha! Love your content, keep it coming.
“The oil pan is obviously all cracked” bro the entire pan is missing😂😂
I also said the same thing😂 the whole oil pan is gone.
I was looking for the oil pan like... ummm?
I was think the same thing
I'm sure he was being sarcastic
Did he change the oil filter?
My name is Scott and my son Nathan and I are really starting to get bike fever after being stuck inside for way to long due to the Covid outbreak. I'm more of a old school type of guy but after watching hundreds of videos and talking with Nate for quite some time now we've both decided that we want sport bike's instead of what I was originally going to do which was building a old school kz1000. So today after work I was browsing videos and trying to find one that I watched about a year ago of a young guy probably in his mid twenties or so and I'm pretty sure he was using his parents garage to rebuild wrecked sport bike's and it looked like he was in California right on the ocean. Anyway when I first found his videos I was impressed with his work and the detail in which he put into every bike he did. But today I looked for his videos again and couldn't find any of them. But in the search I stumbled across your videos and was blown away with the way you do your rebuilds and how knowledgeable you are about all aspects of the bike's your working on. So my first question is are you doing these for customers who've wrecked their bike and are having you rebuild them? Or are you buying wrecked bike's and rebuilding them yourself and reselling them? Whichever way, I would be thrilled to talk to you about the subject and maybe get your opinion on which way we should approach this new hobby of ours? And the reason I'm asking is because although I make pretty good money at my trade I don't want to just go out and buy a new bike and just start riding it. I want to be able to bond with my son and when we're finished with our first one I want us to be proud of what we've accomplished together. And I know that your probably a pretty busy guy but we would greatly appreciate it if you could get in touch with us and discuss some options that might be available? Thanks alot for your time and will be watching for your reply hopefully in the very near future. Thanks again! Scott and Nathan Harrington, West Jefferson, Ohio.
Usually I skip through these kinds of videos to the interesting parts. But I find your videos fascinating and watch every single minute. I wish I had the space, tools and funds to take on a project like this.
It's a delight to see you bringing these bikes to life 🔥
Can't express enough how beautiful this bike still IS today.
Very nice rebuild. Always liked the Repsol livery CBR. Really satisfying watching the bike come back to life. Hopefully I can do a rebuild like this one some day soon.
Innocently my yamaha 02 r1 was destroyed.
I want to revive my bike, which has been standing for more than 10 years, like this video.
great work! you made it

Perfect job !!
Congratulations !
U make it look simple bro ,
Love watching your videos, keep rocking 🤘🤘
I must say, you damn near cured my depression with this !! THANK YOU!
I really appreciate your work bro. you don't need anyone. thanks youtube for recommending this video
you have hands of Midas, sir! you just made everything turn into GOLD!
Dota gamer spotted🤣
I feel so happy to see this, this almost brought me to tears. I believe that bikes have souls too. It was soo sad to see such a beautiful and powerful bike rendered useless by a poser (previous owner), to be restored like that. Imagine losing your legs but being given a new set of legs to run again. Absolutely heartwarming. Thank you for doing this.
who was the previous owner?
Why do you say they were a poser? Accidents happen, bud. You've got no idea what happened, why the bike was in an accident.
You are a gem. You gave a healthy new life to this lost bike. With love from Pakistan.
Wow, you've got mad skills!! Great job and I agree, get rid of the LEDs. You make it look so easy!
Just discovered your channel. Love it! Going back and watching all the older videos. Do a lot of these bikes end up having salvage titles and if so, how does that affect the resale value? Also, where are you finding all of these wrecked bikes?
I love seeing OEM parts being installed. That's how they were designed by the manufacturer so they always (in my opinion) look so much more finished than aftermarket.
Tasty build, mate. Well done!
Depends
Sometimes aftermarket can be better, like full exhaust systems look and feel far superior.
If you want to go the extra mile on a carbon bike (like the r1m) adding some extra carbon fiber trim is a nice touch
i reaaly aboubt this video is that, you like stock models bikes rather than funky customised. and you are those type of the guy who really wants to get his hands dirty while working.... keep working mannn .... loves your channel.
I like when you drop the LED's in the trash, makes me feel like I'm 14 yr.o 😊❤. loved it!
yes, no recycling there... so fun to mix all garbages together in a trash
@@Jethro.Maloku-le.Rey.Kalsitran yeah and it's a relief ❤❤❤

How can one man know so much about the inside and out of fixing bikes. Man I wish I had a mentor like him who would lead me down this path to live this kind of life. Doing what you love.
Just start doing it by yourself
@@discy12345 I tried that, bikes now at the mechanic cause I broke something… oh well, I’ll learn eventually ig xD
Nice! , as a great lover of motorcycles , it´s a pleasure to see how she come back to life (after a nap of course 😅) . Congratulations for the hard work and all the love that you put on it , you can see how much you love doing this. Thank god that you removed all the previous tweaks that she had (the led lights for example).
amazing. my previous bike was a cbr1000 had a low side and i rebuilt everything from scratch while waiting for parts took me bout 2 months to fully get it back to 100%, it looks like you bought the same fairings i had too as i had to sort out the badges aswell
Beautifully done. Neat and taking care of the small details as well.
Well done with the restoration...really good work! Im sure you missed the downpipes though they were all folded in on themselves under the bike.
I wondered that too, did they get replaced @RKMOTORSPORTS?
I watch these to hope to become better at fixing bikes my love for this sport and life style is beyond words thx for the content.!
Watching a craftsman in action is always inspiring, excellent work.

i have a 2022 r1 60th anni, and my dream bike is a 1000rr repsol. This was a beautiful video.
Love you choices, doing away with the red parts was key, more isn’t always better. Nicely done.
I really like when you do it all in one video!
The individual parts each week keep everyone up to date with how the bike is coming along, and then the final start to finish video is the best part!
@@RKMotorsports no matter what, you make awesome videos and I really enjoy watching them. Keep up the great work man!!
Bike ressurection 3.0. You really know your stuff, beautiful job and indeed, no tacky stuff on such a wonderful machine
Watched all your vids now- totally hooked ! thanks
One of my absolute favourite bikes, so happy to see it given a new life!
I'm sure you did but still, would have been good to see the use of a torque wrench at least once..
I liked how he got rid of all those flashy accessories!
First time watching full video of reparing bike😂 u got a new subscriber brah I saw this video months ago but watched it today.
Just came across this channel. Great job on the rebuild. I just picked up an R6 in Raven Red.
Finally! A complete video for this CBR!!!
i love that half of the video is basically "unpimp my ride"
I try not to judge, but all those junk parts he pulled off fits in with the fact it's also been crashed. And I am sorry if it was actually owned by a sensible rider that just had terrible taste in accessories and got caught in a "not at fault" accident.
So much tacky shit. This squid had it coming.
@@timofalltrades400 i liked the aluminum brake oil container but that was it all the other stuff was bad
But the dude who owned it can out ride the fuck outta you🤣🤣
So beatifull, awesome job ! inspires me to start learning how to rebuiild bikes like you.
Im happy you removed all that led and another china tuning from this bike, now it looks so nice and clean. Excellent work!!!
Those weld lines on that frame looks so soothing 🥰❤️
You forgot to change the muflers tube that connects to the engine..it was already damaged.. it is nice to look if it would be titanium tubes... Its just an recomendation tho. 😎😁. It was already beautiful, i love it. I wish i could have one. 🙏
What an amazing job, congratulations! It gained another admirer here in Brazil 🇧🇷🇧🇷👏👍
Amazing CBR 1000RR '09 complete rebuild from a wreck. Great job. Congrats. From Europe.
Its like watching something being reborn, Fantastic job man, stay safe and keep up the good work
After this hard impact of the front, at least you have to open the fork and check for damage inside if you have no opportunities for accurate measuring and testing. I have seen less worse damages in the front and the fork was not working probably. And do you use the right torque for assembling parts on the fork?
Otherwise nive job. Looks really great at the end!
The fork isn't well for sure for me
Just bought an 07 repsol 1000 lol my phone must be listening to me again . Nice build I see that NYS inspection also in ny wish I had scooped this lol
One of the most satisfying bike rebuilds i have ever watched👍
The previous owner of this bike was tasteless. Much improved!
so much tat bolted on the owner must have been 12 years old
simply amazing🔥
HUGE respect for the hurclean effort you poured into this!

Thank you! Same here!
Those orange Domino racing grips were just a beautiful finishing touch. Amazing transformation as always mate, keep up the good work!

Looks really good, just shows complexities of a bike rebuild but definitely worth the effort.
im blown away the fact that you where able to fit newer gen facelift plastics to the bike
Solid god damn job!
Amazing brother...niceee restoration.. I hope I'll be able to have this beast too🤲
Good job man taking care of that injured beast. I am envious. Lovely bike. 😉
I'm planning to build car engines as a hobby. Your work inspires me
Always satisfying to see a bike come back from the dead.
I’m so jealous, if you ever want or need help doing a rebuild I would be so down.
i'm glad to see a thing that i can't afford, great job dude ! 🔥
This demonstrates that a regular person with no tools, no special equipment and any mechanics knowledge can fix a broken bike. kudos!
When you have the passion, everything is and will be possible 😎👍
I love watching things broken being fixed, well done good job mate looks brand new almost, its a shame about the dent in the upper frame bit near the handlebars it would drimy OCD crazy so would be a deal breaker for me
Nice job, back to its original shape, thanks for sharing your love for bikes :)
Awsome job bro.
Back to stock even down to the pegs.
Previous owner wouldn't even recognize that bike.
looking at the tank pad and i thought
“no wonder it crashed”

Why is there Brembo stickers on the bike when it's equipped with Tokico brakes? And why the passenger foot pegs when there's no passenger seat? New headers?
