How to Add and Use a Checkbox in LibreOffice Calc

Check boxes are one of many Form Controls available in LibreOffice. This video goes over how to add one, then link it to set values in another cell.

Great video. I am making a spreadsheet where the checkbox is purely for visual aid, so I do not need a data cell. Will the checkboxes retain their state without being linked to a data cell?

Yes, you can clear the Linked Cell value (it's empty by default) and it'll work just fine as a visual Checkbox. Have a great day!

Good presentation. Please tell me how to count all the check box and generate percentage of attendance of a person (if we enter person by person and day by day)
