Very clever. I would of never thought of using wallpaper for cobbles. I have no problem with the size of the cobbles.I think about Rule 1, it's your railway layout do what you want. There's no right or wrong. That's what I believed when I was a modeler over 50 years ago. Bill from California, USA

Thanks Bill. You are quite right about Rule 1 and when I get the time I shall really enjoy turning the surfaces into something more weathered and aged. Still building at the moment.

Free samples from diy stores from the blown vinyl wallpapers . Not always available though

You definitely have to scout around, but I keep a small stock of textured wallpapers ‘just in case’!
