I’ve been researching the gas strut placement as some show the cylinder at bottom and others on the lid part. It seems it’s supposed to be at the top / lid so the opposite to this video. I got this info from a motor video as they’re used in car boot/ trunk. This way a seal can dry out and gas can leak causing it to stick. It’s v confusing!
What to do if the has spring doesn’t compress?
How did you fix it? I’m currently having that problem
