Hi, RRB scale 2 marks are out. I applied for IT specialist. I got 14.5 marks above cutoff(63.25marks) , Belong to OBC category(cutoff 48.75). What are my chances of getting final selection, can you please tell? My interview went good(Answered almost all questions)

Is Btech in electrical and electronics engineering eligible for rrb so it officer ? Below is the eligibility criteria Bachelor’s degree from a recognised University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

No it is not that important to know. For IT, customer dealing is not there. You can ask people in RO and branches to talk in hindi or english to you. Also, hindi is the primary language in Rajasthan, so you don't need to worry there.

No, for ibps so you must have a 4 year engineering degree in relevant fields or you must have done post graduation or you must have passed doeacc level B exam.

Is IT officer also given general banking work and posted in branch or only in regional / head office?
In RRBs you will be given IT work when you join as scale 2. But when you get promoted as scale 3 then you can be given non IT work as well.

The RRB you get assigned depends upon the merit. If you are in IT, you will most probably get posted in the head office of the RRB you get assigned.

Hello Hemant, You can be posted in any department. I along with one of the other selected candidates was given the CBS department.

Yes karte hai, 5 days ki training rehti hai usme 1 day IT ka batate hai. Training common rehti hai for all the scale 2 officers.

Resignation letter chahiye hota hai usme date of joining and date of leaving honi chahiye. Uske alava kabhi kabar salary slips bhi maang lete hai.
