Brandon, watching you work with your children is great. Your patients, the way you encourage them, supporting them in sports, taking them to special events is great. You videoed Cason working on the chicken pen was perfect. You let him do it on his own and best al l you told him how proud you are of him. You get my vote for "father of the year".
Before they cover the walls, you should let each kid pick out their favorite Bible verse and let them write i on the 2X4 in their room. (Maybe on the entrance to the door of their room. No one will ever see if but they will all always know it is there. SO exciting to finally see you home going up and SO FAST! Love watching and hearing you guys being so excited over it. It really is a special time!

@@AngelBluff great Idea. I raised my children in my home andhad all grandchildren in it. When I sold it I was sad our hands were left behind in the concrete with our names. But they was still there all those years. I took pics but dont know where they went.

KAYSON you are a really good helper to your parents. You’re doing a great job on the farm.
I am always impressed by Captain Kayson. He has his challenges but doesn't let them get in his way. Sees a problem that needs to be solved and puts a lot of thought into how he's going to solve it. All the kids are great with what they do but I am extra proud of Kayson because he is always keen to find something useful and practical to do.

Just a little tip, with the carpet wear socks because the oils in your bare feet will ruin your carpet.

Brandon, if you put hay in the barn, Please make sure you have it open on one end. They stored hay in a big barn we had and it was so hot in there it built up gases and the barn exploded and blew the barn completely apart and burned to the ground. So please leave one end open to allow for the gas build up to escape. Just a lesson learned suggestion for y'all. ❤❤❤

Just wondering, there must be a reason... Why is it you leave the water for the chickens out in the sun? Is there a reason that you don't put the water for the chickens in the coop with the chickens? They're not going to be drinking hot water out in the sun and it's much easier for the chickens to have it in the coop with them. . I'm just trying to understand what your reasoning is?
There's like nipples to get it's cleaner all around. Get a 5 gallon bucket and install them around it. I had chickens a few years ago and used pvc pipe as a feeder kinda gravity feed, fill it up, and don't have to worry for a few days.
Yes Brandon if you stick your finger where they are drinking its hots. You know how hot a water hose gets . Just set it in under shade then when the weather gets cooler set it back out.
People have given all kinds of suggestions to save their animals but they don't do it. Maybe after a few more chickens have died they'll try one of the suggestions
They could be placed on the sides where it’s shaded in between the pens.
Stupidity knows no bounds with these people 🙄. They don't listen to the people who offer good advice but they are making sure that the Mexicans have cold drinks 😉

When the trusses go up then it will feel real. But the action happens after sheetrock is up, mudded sanded out then painted. Thats when yountell the kiddoes it really almost done. Bless you family. The kiddoes really show patience over the years and thats because of you and Steph, and your beliefs! I doubt Kayson is the only one that will have keep out of my room signs!
