Hi Paul, thank for sharing a great day on the water. Cheers
Thanks Paul. That sounds like a good tip.
Another tip with this rig is to cut the weight off the jig with a hacksaw. the jig will want to float and the action is better I think.
Thanks mate. I’ll give that a go.
Looks like a fun way to fish. Very relaxing. Hope you don't mind the question but where around Brissy would you recommend to try that rig Paul
Hi Warren. Sorry I only just saw this. I am not that familiar with Brisbane but anywhere that people catch winter whiting would be a good place to start.
Good stuff Paul. Do you know how far north into the Straits the squid can be caught?
Right to the top of the island mate.
Nice say out by the looks of it. Went to rainbow once with a mate and it was good. What’s Tin Can like for a fishing holiday?
Hi Paul. I find it great for a family fishing holiday. If you search the Tackletactics page I did an article on the fishing there about 12 months ago. There will be an upcoming article about this holiday but it’s more focussed on the squid. I find it a great place to fish offering lots of options.
@@OntheChew ok I will do a search. I usually go to bribie for fishing but it feels like it’s getting busier now and fishing isn’t what it once was.
what depth were you fishing?
Between 25 and 30 feet seemed the most productive
