Poch has done well recently but I’m still not entirely convinced he’s the right guy for the job. I just can’t forget about the beat downs and poor performances under him. I’d be very skeptical if he stays but happy for him to leave
To be fair to POCH, Chelsea is fourth in points since Dec 26th. It was a bad start to the season, yes, but it's not fair to judge the performance based on games 1-32 guys. 1-18 - 22 points 19-37 - 38 points, considering very young new players trying to gel, not to mention the most injuries in the league, Poch has done well. The press has been asking the same negative questions over and over and undermining him. Keep Poch with this team, and they will do wonders next season, I'm sure of it.
38 points from a possible 57 is not this grand return it’s being made out to be. It’s an indictment on the league, nothing else. We’ve had a lot of favors from other teams to get to where we are now.
The injuries killed us. With a proper medical team we’ll be challenging top 4 next season for sure

I think what Poch said is actually what we’re witnessing . He said he feels we’ve been playing well the only difference now is we’re getting results. The stats have always been positive , but now we’re actually seeing the fruits of the labor. Players finishing chances players not making mistakes . The stats were always good but the application was lacking . Now as the team matures and gels , we might see more and more . I think patience is needed .
All the players we have are quality. It's all about how you put them together
How many of those quality players stayed injury free for like 20 games . Outside maybe Gallagher, Jackson, Palmer and caicedo. The others have been on and off

Next season will be hell. In the summer we have the Euros/Copa and in the winter we have the US Tour for the Club World Cup. There wont be much rest for some players. So Poch has to manage player minutes carefuly thru out the Competitions and League. Shouting "UCL Is a must" is IMO crazy. This young team needs to learn to deal with that many games. Europa League Group stage and the garantied Club World Games adding 13 Games. If we going far into the competitions we are talking about almost 50% added games compared to this season.

Pochettino is good for what he is doing. He develops players and build a team to a certain level but can't go further. He keeps bragging recently about his past records, but he has won only one league in France, which is nothing to me when compared with the sort of players he had. He is okay for these kids. I still don't like him any way. He is just an average coach. His in game management is poor.

So why did Poch go with Colwill as LB and Chillwell as LW at the start of the season? And the whole height business? Were those missteps or was he trying to build something that only got off the ground recently?

This series of wins will make sense if it continues next season.
I think d reasons we are doing better now are:
1. The players have gotten some experience, and they now know what the coaches want from them
2. Chalobah... Very important. He has brought in a level of experience & calm to add to d calm head of Thiago
3. Return of more players. There is now quality coming in from the bench. Sometimes, d players on d bench are actually better than those starting d match, so they can actually change d course of the game
4. Poch has d team setup more in his image now and has found d right combination of players to do it. Defense and midfield, especially. He has always wanted a hybrid 3 defensively from game 1. It took time, but he got it
How is everyone over looking the fact that Gallagher is not in the #10 position anymore.
I don´t understand the buying of Disasi when we already have Chalobah it does not make sense to me. We have improved based on where we are coming from the last season and beginning of this season it is easy to make such a conclusion

Poch does not have the leverage you seem to think. He can’t actually go to them and say “I got what you wanted” because what they WANTED was Champions League. They did him a favor by eventually lowering expectations. There might not be many great alternatives to him, but that doesn’t mean they have to bend over backwards to his demands. And trust me, you don’t want them to.
I think Chalobah has to stay. If we sell someone from the academy I would want Gallagher to be sold. Don’t see him offering something any of our other CMs provide.
I don't enjoy all you can eat Chelsea ever since you guys turned into Poch out merchants. Even now, you fail to see things from a good perspective. The system isn't really the biggest reason why we aren't losing, the team is maturing and they are growing in confidence. That battering at Arsenal was an anomaly, because if you look at our form excluding that loss, we had been winning a lot of our games but just because it was a London derby, people blamed Poch. You cannot compare this to Conte, Jose, arteta etc, we have immature players,...we are now taking chances, players have stopped giving away silly goals frequently. That's learning and maturity. I actually don’t mind this project youth given the environment we are in. Currently with Pep at city there’s no way in hell we will ever win a league, even if we bought world class 27 years old in their peak. It’s better to develop young talent for four years will Pep is winning everything. So once he leaves in next 5 years we will be best positioned to take city place

We've got 1 L in our last 14 and everyone is talking about last 4 and 1/2 matches? No wonder Poch is so sarcastic these days. The truth is we started to show that we'd turned a corner in the away match at Palace. Since then we've always given it to the end. Except for Arsenal away. It's been real inch by inch since Feb.
