---June 2022 Giveaway Rules-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Due to the support the community has given me I'd like to give something back, so we're doing a monthly ship giveaway. This month (June 2022) will be an Anvil Legionnaire with LTI.
- The ship is a standalone item for the game Star Citizen. It does not include a game package and you will need one to play the game. The recipient will require a Star Citizen account to claim the gift which will be sent to the winner via email.
- To enter you simply need to comment on any video from May 2022 on the channel before the competition closes at Midnight (UTC) on 31st May. You can enter multiple times by commenting on multiple videos but only one entry will be counted per video.
- A random number generator will be used to select which video the winner is drawn from, then used again to select a winner from the list of unique commenters.
- The prize is an Anvil Legionnaire - there is no guarantee that if you seek to exchange it with CIG (the games developer) for store credit that this will be equal to the list price of the ship.
- There is no alternative to the prize.
- Please note that the Anvil Legionnaire is a concept ship and as such is not currently available to use in game. Its expected release date is as yet unknown.
- Once notified you have 3 months to claim your prize. If you don't claim it it will be returned to the prize pool.

I want them to make the Bengal available, imagine a crew of hundreds of people or even a thousand, like a whole faction and the ship is never empty no matter at what time you connect you'll find crewmates. This would be the best gaming experience ever.
Gotta build up to that, instances are currently only 50 ppl at a time. Your talking about instances of at least 200 ppl together.
@@unadultratedtrini yeah, even with AI, the Idris or Javelin can't crew up, with current server capacity limits.
@@Rob_Moilanen your ship should be persistent through all servers, and if someone targets you, they join your instance and vice versa. So players don't exist in all instances but ships do and instances should be fluid. I was playing yesterday and I got bugged, so I backed to menu to get back my ship but because I logged onto a different instance I couldn't get my ship. I was able to sell some of the cargo to recoup some of my money at the mining facility but I wasn't able to take the ship back to New Babbage or store it and load it back onto the pad. I would have to do an insurance claim which wipes the inv of your ship.
@@unadultratedtrini you do realise what ships are account bound? And which ones are persistence bound? Especially with LTI ?
It means, if you some how where to gank my Idris or Javelin, you do realise my LTI token says I may never "lose it"?
Thats why the Bengals or other capitals will never be "owned"?
@@Rob_Moilanen I get that but as an object that exists in the ptu, once your ship is an object in game it should exist for every other person. Regardless of instance. So the way Cloud Imp does their game is you have the universe existing on servers, players and ships exist within instances on those servers. Actions that you perform on one instance have consequences to all players on that server. So all other instances will see the effects. A great way to understand this is hauling. If someone is hauling on the server, they may not be on your instance but they will be able to buy up all the lannite on a particular outpost. If you are not on their instance when you go to that outpost you will realize that there is no more of that resource for you to buy for your trade.
The pioneer is BY FAR the one I’m most excited for. Just to see how they eventually get the whole damn thing working. I want to see it spitting out bases!
Yeah hard to even know which I’m most excited for - probably I’d have to go with something like the Idris just for the sense of scale.
Speaking of base building, there is yet to be anything said about a ship that builds space stations. I would imagine the approach to be similar to that of the Pioneer, but in zero G.
@@resoundingecho I'm abit torn with you here. CIG has never said anything about player building stations, cause "no two" stations are alike. That said, I can forsee a "gang" pioneers completing "some" station types that take several weeks (or months) to build. Remember you don't want these things crapping out stations everywhere in the verse!
@@Rob_Moilanen I agree with you that players should not (or at the very least not easily) be able to build space stations. At the time I commented, I was thinking more along the lines of completing the production chain and giving explanation to why stations occasionally pop up every once in awhile. Whether it is a ship that only exists in limited quantities (and at a sky high price), is exclusive to the UEE, or only exists in lore (e.g. acting behind the scenes and out of sight), it is something I would expect to exist simply to justify the formation of space stations.
@@resoundingecho there is lore behind most of this, remember we are inhabiting a game that has existed, in lore, for centuries into our future lives. And many of the stations has existed for centuries as well, some of them have been abandoned for various reasons and have been taken over by various factions including player's/groups. Please don't forget that CIG does intend for players to be "able" to own stations, but we're not even close to the "tech" to be "able" to build them.
Though I do suppose that pioneer ships could do it "theoretically", it may be that CIG doesn't want them to or at the very least not be able to, for now!
Cause remember the game is still very much an alpha and we're not even close to the feature complete beta yet much less a full blown "release"!
I'd definitely agree with you about the ARGO capital refinery ship, I love their style and focus and a larger ship from them would neatly fill several existing niches.
Maybe I should make this a spectrum thread and show the level of demand for a glorious orange blocky Titan! 😂
Amazing video, wonderful pace and info. Your relaxed voice over was super easy to listen to for 42mins; subscribed
Thank you for the video. Had stopped paying attention to a number of the capital ships, so good to get a refresher.
Loved the video! Really interesting hearing your takes on the different manufacturers and where gaps lie in the available ship classes. This is the first of your videos I've seen but I will be checking out more for sure!
Great video Loud. Thanks for taking the time to bring these kinds of videos to us.
Cheers Aren!
I love thinking about these massive ships out in the PU, flying beside a bengal crewed by your org is going to be a really special feeling, great vid!
Hell yeah - flying a Gladius alongside and looking out the window knowing that your org mates are manning the positions on something like that will be epic!
Thanks for the nice summary. Under your definition the Odyssey would also be a capital ship with it's capital(Power Plant, Cooler and Shield Generator). I don't see it as a Capital ship however since it's more in the ship class of the Carrack.
Yeah as I was waiting for the vid to upload I was speaking to a mate who mentioned the odyssey - was a definite d’oh moment! 😂
@@LoudGuns Happens to us all. Just with video it's hard to edit your message after posting it😁Again great work. I think a capital refinery would be a great addition and Argo would be the perfect manufacturer. It would force me to spend more money on the game unfortunately 😂
@@madtitan1946 yeah maybe I don’t want that announced until I’m a bit richer!
Um..the Carrack is labeled as a capital ship tho, so...
@@tevarinvagabond1192 since when?
This was super great to watch with a coffee during quantum jumps this morning. Thanks for the video and keep 'em coming!
*RSI has the Pegasus and I believe it’s categorized as a light carrier. I also think it was white boxed. So there’s a possibility we’ll see it later in SQD 42 and further down the road in the PU.*
Ya he forgot the Pegasus, if I remember right it houses 30 or so fighters.
Incredible video! Your depth of knowledge about this game is truly impressive.
Thanks you for this. As a new player I found this not only edifying, but entertaining. Please keep up the good work.
Anvil already has a lot of things that can be used during ground assault, like the Atlas line, the Valk, the Liberator etc.
What I'd love to see is that Anvil puts a crown on that style and making Anvil and Aegis more different in the sense that Aegis is more space based and aggressive and Anvil is more defensive and ground based to show that this new main military is there to protect the people and planets of the UEE.
So I'd love to see a planetary assault carrier. This ship features a large cannon array that can be used from orbit to blast positions on the ground. It has capability for Valks to land on it, room for lots of troops and cargo and can land to bring the armored first of Spartans, Ballistas and Centurions to bear with along with Novas. And the crowning feature: Drop pods than can launch cargo drops or infamtry (including Titan suits) to the ground below it, sending the force inside to a location previously bombarded, landing and directly deploying. Meanwhile Valks make their way down and when the landing zone's secured the carrier itself comes down and acts as an HQ for the operation.
Now this is pure insanity and just really just a fun idea for me. It isn't realistic for the game at all and would probably never show it's face.
Still though, if there is an Anvil capital ship some day I'd love to see a lot of manufacturer synergy (Valk needs and update to carry an Atlas vic btw) and the stuff I mentioned before about Anvil's identity much more being that of a shield
Kinda sounds like a bengal carrier (with its MASSIVE size 12 guns *on a turret*)
Good video as always, keep up and congratulations on 10k subs! May the force be with you!
Thanks for taking the time to do this, really enjoyed this one!
A lot of valuable info event though CIG doesn't have all the answers we want yet.
I totally agree with you on the ship lineup needing to have another carrier and a capital size refinery. You brought very valid points.
Keep up the good work!
Thanks Duke! Much appreciated - the thing I find a little funny is CIG do have so many answers it’s just that they’re buried in a randomly named article from 2016 😂
Most likely we will see something like a Banu or Tevarin Carrier, but these are likely a long ways away
Great video. I'm always astounded as to how much there is still to come to the verse.
And your research is top notch. 👌
Thank you!
Thanks Joezen! Yeah there’s a lot of info buried in the archives - got to put my old history degree to use every now and again 😂
I hadn't realized how many cap ships they already had lined up. Nice video
Great video, love the explanations, also I agree we need something like the Perseus but bigger and able to board the enemy with. Capital ships should be able to board each other without too much difficulty, especially since CIG has said they want more bigger ships to get "disabled" and less blowing up in major explosions.
Best video I've seen on star citizen. Way better than other creators! Thank you for the info!
one of my all time favorite videos on star citizen. by far. you rock team loudguns. glad to be a member of your org
Thanks mate! Can’t beat a good old fashioned bit of cap ship indulgence!
Great video! Lots of cool info that I wasn't aware of for Cap ships (I'm a fighter jock myself so I tend to steer away from the larger ships....GET IT!)
Love your videos and in depth reviews, I'm surprised you don't have more subscribers.
Very exciting garage of ships for truely diverse gameplay options.
Excellent presentation with great graphics. It must have hurt editing out some of the rest but great result.
Thank you Loud Guns.
Haha yeah this one was quite a long time in the editing room but it’s all good practice and I’m glad folks enjoy it!
Absolutely love this chill episode about big bois in the verse.
It’s already the second time I watch it in a few months and It’s really helpfull, especially during IAE !
Thanks Loudguns !
You did a great job, don't be so hard on yourself. Keep creating!
The polaris is one of my favorites capital ships. Thanks for this video about the CS.
Great video, lots of things I didn't know before! I agree 100% with the Argo Capital ship!
Great video Loud Guns! Keep up the great content! 👍
Carriers are the coolest ships for me so I'm just waiting for a tevarin one. Grats on 10k here's hoping they keep coming.
Thanks for the overview, great video, keep them coming 🙂
Loved the longer video, very entertaining and informative. Look forward to spending some time with your org in the future
Cheers mate - I’m never quite sure if I’m waffling on too long, but I cut my rambling quite a lot in the edit 😆
@@LoudGuns look out for me in the org…Im regularly in streams with SpaceTomato and LvLCapGaming
@@ii_jordski_ii1138 nice - I just finished a stressful couple of months of moving house and some work stuff so looking forward to having more time to attend events and get to know folks.
hey man loved the vid! thanks for the details you just made me love this game more than i already did !!!
Awesome! Glad it got you excited for the possibilities!
just found the channel and love it so far. keep making great videos!
I’m just getting into SC and this video was great to get me excited for the future of the game, I’ve always loved space and space ships and can’t wait for capital ship vs capital ship slugging matches. Also I agree we need another carrier possibly a medium one. Anyways thank you for the great content.
Very good insight into the capitol class ships that I personally knew very little about. Very nice, thank you.
Thanks mate - glad it was helpful!
It will be awesome to serve at one of this capital ships! The level of immersion is incredible, i felt like being part of Star Wars or Star Trek or some other Sci-Fi by just watching. oh and BTW AWESOME Video!! Love it!
Thanks Melcor! It’s great because that was my goal - I prefer to get people excited about the gameplay / working with their mates on a ship like these rather than getting them excited to get their wallets out 😆
@@LoudGuns Good thing. My wallet seems to be forever empty.
Great job, your videos just keep getting better!
Cheers Paul! Tbh I still just love doing this from a learning perspective!
Awesome overview. I really love this type of content!
Cheers mate - glad you enjoyed it!
Great video! Can't wait to try all those ships in the future.
Cheers mate! Yep you and me both!
Good research, well reasoned commentary and no time consuming fluff about how your day went (pet peeve of mine others videos). Very nice.
I am so looking forward to getting the BMM. Every time they add in pictures/vids with what is being done it has made the wait so very much worth it. Lots of detail and a great ship to own for multi-career-based citizens. Something to travel around in the black with and find things to do along the way. My Firefly if you will.
The Orion is something I am considering as well. Big miner and what brought me to your channel. :)
Thank you for the vid Loud. You do these very well!
Cheers mate - funnily enough you picked the 2 cap ships I personally own 😂
@@LoudGuns Those are also the only two cap ships that I own. As cool as the Orion is, I think it is fair to say that it will be at least another 18 months or more before we see one in game. Additionally, I am super hyped for the BMM as it is truly a jack of all trades ship that can make lots of money while also being a makeshift base of operations which can operate in hostile territory such as Pyro.
One day I will get to fly my merchantman
Haha, don’t think it’ll be that long now (relatively speaking)!
@@LoudGuns looking like a year from now after the newest progress tracker
@@LoudGuns I got it in the concept sale when ever that was s I guess another few months isn’t that bad 😆
@@PaladinStem anything under 12 months in SC = soon 😂
Great video! Can't wait to see some big beasties in the verse
Dang, you make such great videos! I love this, even if I will never be able to afford one! Thank you.
Cheers JD! I wouldn’t worry about affording one - for me cap ships are something for organisations as opposed to being something for an individual to own.
Love the video. Can't wait to see more of these ships flying around in the verse.
Crusader built a flying city, surely they will build a capital ship of some kind ?
Really interesting video, thank you for the quality of your work ! This game will have so much diversity once orgs could buy whatever ship suits their needs. I imagine players creating a "city" in space just with ships where people of the org mine in the near areas and other players come there and buy the ressources they need. And after a certain time the org decides to move to another solar system and the economic changes a lot because of that mining city. I hope the things that happen in a solar system will have an impact on all the npcs in that system if the event is important enough, for example two factions fighting with a Bengal. This game has still so much to deliver to space fans.
Thanks mate! Yeah we were talking about the idea of a floatilla space station made by docking endeavor’s, kraken’s, Orions etc together - allowing an org to have a safe harbour off the main trade lanes.
Ugh, it's not just ships... it's the gameplay mechanics. Ships literally don't matter if we don't have the gameplay careers and economy to support such gameplay
@@tevarinvagabond1192 I like to think that I drop fairly deep into the gameplay & mechanics stuff while I do these - bit hard not to look at ships in SC content though.
@@LoudGuns Oh no, I wasn't referring to your video! It's just this chap I replied to implied that buying ships was gameplay in of itself, and I just wanted to beg to differ. I think without the gameplay careers and all the fleshed-out gameplay mechanics that ships are inherently meaningless without that. Ships are tools, that's really what I was meaning in my reply to the other chappie.
@@tevarinvagabond1192 haha no worries man - I think there’s a missing comment
Awesome quality work, very interesting!
Thanks Elianka!
Thanks for all the interesting info!!
First time watching your videos , well done. I find myself looking forward to the Orion the most right now 🙂
The Misc Odyssey is considered a capital ship with its three capital size components and large Radar. It will be a great ship for exploration.
So true that Kingships and the Pegasus will likely be props or hero pieces that won't be realized until well into the game's lifetime, but the idea of a derelict Kingship, better yet one we can repair like the Bengal, that's what makes this game amazing.
Fantastic work, Ten thumbs up 👍
Cheers mate - I’m sure over time post live bigger and badder things will get added to the verse. But I can’t see anything much bigger than a Bengal getting committed while we’re still working towards that. Never say never with CIG though!
The Pegasus is supposed to be a class of light carriers, not an actual hero ship. So they may be a bit more common to see in UEE fleets in the future.
Really enjoyed the video, looking forward to more info vids
Thanks Dot - glad it was useful mate!

I think I ran into you in game today I'm a mega fan I appreciate all the info you have on this channel.
alright alright you got me at the end. that ship sounds epic! Greentaco would love himself something besides the ol' delivery truck titan haha. i am loving delivery missions. i'm gonna post on discord how it'd be cool to have a shipping section of the org as well to run high value packages around.
Ship progression: Titan---->Bengal.
I’ll definitely look into it, we’ve got a few things in the works!
Love the disclaimers about being able to earn the ships in game. Great vids!
Cheers mate, yeah it’s easy to get carried away watching cap ship vids and allow a want to become a “need”!
@@LoudGuns With all the outfitting, upgrading, reparing, refueling, and moving them around, too many ships sounds suspiciously like a job to me.
Oh, just realized that it looks like you may have missed the Odyssey? Don't want to get the "Carrack Killerz" on your case :P hehe
@@naptime_riot Yeah I blanked on the Odyssey - my mate Aren mentioned it as I was going through an annoyingly long upload at 1am my time last night....I decided at that point that it was too late and I needed my bed (also forgot to mention about the Endeavor's detachable cab which annoys me because it's one of my favourite features :D ).
Great Video, looking forward to crewing one of these in the org!
With a full crew some of these ships are going to be a sight to behold!
I haven't seen these ships in-depth like this before, so thanks for this video! I was hoping to see an Anvil capital ship during ILW, but with the BMM in the pipeline, at least we have another big ship coming.
Glad it was useful mate! Yeah I’m just hoping that the Legionaries was a prelude to the Polaris sized anvil cap designed to deliver said ship!
My Most FAVORITE of '' Ship Videos! Also Great Handle -- LOUD GUNS '' keep 'em' comings ! -- Man-Solo -- Out! o7
There's gotta be bigger ships and I can't wait to see them.
I can't wait to be running around inside the big military ships! The BMM always gave me kinda Homeworld Bentusi vibes!
Yeah- although looking at the size of some of the caps I’m hoping we can fit Greycat PTV’s in some of the corridors! That’s a long way to run on a Bengal!
@@LoudGuns I honestly want a small train running down the length. I know we won't. But I want it. ISDs had them, why can't we?
@@LoudGuns CR loves using lifts for transitions, so expect a turbo lift in the bengal, likely with the unintended feature of ejecting players if you use them while the ships in Quantum.
Appreciate the Capital ship info. Thanks
Amazing video, can't wait for my BMM!
Cheers mate! With you on that one ☝️
Forgot the Odyssey but you already know that. Great video!
😂 it has been mentioned once or twice (my mate Aren remarked on it as I was uploading but I really needed to go to bed since it was 1am)
Great overview! Very well done!
I understand what is meant by CIG by "Capital Ship", by definition ONLY warships are classified as capital ships. :\
Brilliant video, lots of details. ty
Cheers mate!
at first i thought it was a add because of the quality good vid!
This was an awesome video. I got ditscyed by your capital shops in
Haha cheers mate!
im so hyped for what is come!!!
Loved the video Loud. On the topic of capital ship roles not represented in the game currently, or even hinted at, I'm surprised there's no mention of capital class exploration ships. Flying exploratory cities tasked with exploring and mapping the furthest edges of space - ideal for those who want to live out their Star Trek Voyager / TNG fantasies within SC.
Cheers Martin - yeah I was chatting with another chap about this sort of thing. Like an Ark ship for long distance exploration and potentially colonisation. I reckon it’d be really cool if you had a ship that was relatively compact, but when you landed could unfold into a ready made base with bio domes, workshops, hangars etc
Really looking forward to the kraken!
Never wanted to hit pause plus I already had a drink and food ready to go. Very well done and keeps up the hope that I can someday go 10 minutes without relogging. Maybe my son will inherit my rig + flight sticks and get to play in the beta.
Awesome video sir!
I purchased the BMM years ago and I'm so excited for it. Love seeing all of these ships though. The javelin is nutty lol
Great recap! Fingers crossed the RSI Pegasus is more than just a concept ;)
Can't get enough of your content. For the legion.
Haven't payed much attention to capital ships since they require a lot of $$$. Thanks very much for the education, gives me a good perspective of their uses.
Thanks mate, yep I do think a bit too much of what’s out there on cap ships is drooling over how much they cost - I prefer the discussion about what they mean in the game.
congrats on 10K :D
Thanks very much mate!
Great point and vid. My hope is that cig will see the popularity of things AND competing space games and wrap SQ42 so that this amazing and huge workforce can devote their time to the PU. I wouldn’t be surprised if within a year of release we have 30 new cap ships announced. Might have to check out your org. Thanks mate! Cheers
Cheers mate, yeah it’s a tricky one - unpopular an opinion as it may be I’m actually looking forward to squadron! Although with the PU probably getting a tonne more content immediately after I’m not sure when I’ll get a chance to play it 😂
@@LoudGuns right!? I’m just hoping critics don’t use Starfield (as much as I’m looking forward to it) as a comparison piece. And getting to take orders from Gillian Andersen is just great. Haha thanks for the reply! Your channels my favorite
@@Oldboy.. cheers man - yeah I’m hoping starfield is good for SC and SC is good for starfield. Anything that increases interest in the genre is great.
@@LoudGuns well said and agreed!
This was a cool list!
Really enjoyed the video. I currently have pledged for a liberator and have been eyeing the Kraken. The idea that Anvil is coming out with a capitol ship makes me think I’ll keep the Liberator for now and hold off on the kraken. The Polaris is the only other Capitol ish ship I’ve been looking into. I really like the idea of bringing support to all types of missions: combat, cargo, mining, search & rescue, even medical. In the end I do want a ship with high combat capability but that doesn’t require a massive org to handle (ie the Polaris). Can’t wait to see what SC has in store for the next capitol ship!
Thanks mate! Yeah I take very much a wait and see approach to SC these days - I pickup good value WB CCU’s but then I’ll just see where the chips fall when things are further developed than they are now before committing to much.
Great video, very informative.
Cheers mate - glad it helped!
Another great video. Keep up the good work. I would also like to see a argo capital ship. I really appreciate the design style.
Starting to think I need to start a spectrum thread in support of this idea to try and get it some traction!
@@LoudGuns for sure you should. I and others would definitely back it.
Love the lower decks reference. I work on the show ☺️ at least the last 2 seasons. One of my favourite projects
Well as the owner of all those ships and a member of your ORG :) I look forward to when these are in the game...
We’re going to need to find a lot of Aurora owners out there in the black!
Got to get excited for server meshing and crewing bigger ships. Looking forward to pioneer and endeavour
Definitely 2 high up my personal list! 😆
This was great! Military stuff is neat, but there are plenty of us who would love more science and industry focused ships. Can't wait to see what CIG does once they get the core game down!
I do like that they have the balance in there, as someone who enjoys all aspects of the game I’m really pleased that I can crew on these giant ships outside of a combat scenario though - looking forward to some deep space runs on the Orion in particular!
Can’t wait to see more ships
Spot on with the gaps in available ships. Right now I think the Perseus is going to dominate as the primary ship of the line, bringing the best damage to crew size ratio. They need to add in something 50-75% larger with capital shields and 2-3 additional duel size 7 turrets and additional point defense weapons.
For light carriers something that could carry 6 bombers or 12 light fighters would be ideal, in my mind something that would be in the rear of a formation that could deploy additional landing pads for repair/refuel/rearm by drones.
Interesting three hands lol I was thinking of getting the pioneer but maybe when there's more info from CIG. As always another great video . Thank you sir 👍
So many other hands when it comes to researching CIG’s docs! The Pioneer has me tempted if I’m honest since I love base building but not being able to CCU to it puts me off a little. Cheers Chippie - much appreciated!
@@LoudGuns I'm not gonna ask where those extra hands are popping out from lol
