Great breakdown of the rolling shot. That last shot in that “Isn’t it Romantic @ looked really odd and out of place.
Love the rolling shot, used it .. but yes, like u said it has to compliment to the storytelling and not just for the sake of it.
with these new gimbals now people has the option of using it.
For me i first bought a gimble for my canon M50, then when i upgraded to Sony A7Siii .. now the gimble doesn’t support it with a larger lens like 24-70mm. This taught me one should keep all these factors in mind before buying a gimble or in fact any camera gear
Most definitely! I try to always go for the higher payload stuff when I purchase now because even though I may not require it at this point, future equipment may be heavier. I’ve made the mistake many times of getting the cheapest things and then regretting it later.
